    Hi all, I've been browsing the website recently as me and some friends are looking into making a Gen 3 ROM hack that is a spiritual 4th game to RSE, although I'm sure it's already been done I'm looking forward to it :). My main job in it would be sprites and tilesets and whatnot, so I've been looking into editing sprites for Emerald, and the many threads on here have been very useful :).

    Thank you! We haven't really given it much thought and we're likely going to just start with a basic emerald modification and build off of it then. There probably won't be any new features, but we're planning to add a new storyline with new pokemon. The game would be set after RSE, and the idea is that a 4th legendary pokemon based on the concept of space/time appears and a load of new pokemon are around. The story of it isn't too fleshed out yet though. Right now I'm focusing on creating new player sprites for the game, whilst my friends are doing some other more technical stuff

    God, to be honest I couldn't tell you. The earliest game I remember playing at all was Heart Gold, but when it was released I would have been 5 so I must have got it a few years later, so basically for as long as I can remember lol. I did somewhat stop being into pokemon around X/Y and OR/AS, but then got back into it for SM/USUM, then back out of it for everything after that until now since I've only recently started playing Shield despite having it since release lol
