As You People May Know , Many Of Us Been Using Smogon Rules Too Much & Let Me Tell You This Guys : Smogon Is Not A Competitive Site.

1. Smogon Makes You Battle A Certain Way With Your Pokemon

2. Smogon Try To Enforce The Game To Be "Competitive"

3. They Are Not The Official Way To Play Pokemon

4. Pokemon VCG Rules Are True Which Means You Can Use Moves Or Abilities Or Pokemon That You Want , UNLESS , The Pokemon Game Itself Says You Can't.

5. You Can Still Win Without Playing By Smogon Rules .

6. Smogon Takes Away Fun From The Game

7. Smogon Makes The Rules Themselves To Stop Them From Looking Bad

8. Smogon People Are Not Ready For Real Tournaments

9. Smogon Doesn't Really Let You Use The Pokemon You Want Because They Are Classified In Lower Tiers & Let Don't Lets You Do What Moves You Should Have On Them .

- I Don't Really Like Smogon Because They Ban Everything They Want Including Moves , Items , Abilities , etc. Now , About Eighty-Five Percent Of The People Who Play By The Smogon Rules Are Not Really Battling Competitive Enough . Yet , They Call Themselves Top Battlers . If Someone Has A Debate , I Would Be Glad To Hear It From You , Thank You . I Just Think Smogon Is Not The Way To Play The Game .

Many people DO think that Smogon's rules are the way to play, and besides, not just Smogon makes the rules.

You don't have to use Smogon's rules for Pokemon battling. Other people might want to, but you don't have to. They're not forcing anyone to follow their rules. No one from Smogon is following every competitive Pokemon battler around to make sure that Smogon's rules are followed.

I would move this to another section, but there isn't really one where it fits (and Battle Center has thread approval). This section of the forums isn't for random rants about Pokemon battling. It's for questions relating to PokeCommunity forums.
