4th Gen Snowpoint Temple

After beating the game in Pokemon D/P/PT, and getting the National Pokedex, you can access this area. Snowpoint Temple is an icy temple you can traverse to obtain the legendary Pokemon Regigigas. Although, if you don't have the three legendary Regis in your party, Regigigas will remain a dormant statue. Once the three Regis are with you, you can challenge Regigigas. Depending on which version of the game you're playing, the Pokemon will be at a different level. For some reason, in Platinum, Regigigas is at level 1.

In order to reach this Pokemon, however, you need to solve an ice puzzle. The temple itself is five floors.

Anyway, what did you think of Snowpoint Temple? Did you capture the Regigigas on the fifth basement floor?

Yes, yes I have. I actually asked a relative if he could find me a old copy of Emerald cheaply specifically for the purpose of getting the Regis. And he did! I only regret being impatient to start my own game and not transferring the previous owner's army of high-level Swampert as well as the legendaries before wiping them away (back in the days of the mandatory 24-hour intermission).

I really like the idea of the Regis and their mysterious, adventure movie style hidden chambers. Back in Ruby we had a lot of fun uncovering the mistery (with braille reading instructions) and the same spirit is felt in Snowpoint Temple.

didn't really bother with it much, because i never really cared much for Regigigas. it was a nice addition for what it's worth, though.
