    But in any case, how do you usually create you own, original ideas, theories or concepts? Whether it could be creating new threads, creating your own fun ideas of doing projects, or other wise!

    For instance, if there a special place where you draw up the majority of your ideas from? (i.e. the kitchen for me) Or... maybe you get inspired by someone, or something? Or maybe perhaps you just create your ideas from the fly -- from the top of your own head, anytime, and in any place?

    Well those are just examples to think about~ :3
     
    I got these weird and fun ideas basically from what I am seeing everyday, these things around me, my interests, how my friends and family influence me, and just everything, majority of them are from the net obviously since I spend a lot of time browsing different sites. Though sometimes it just randomly there in my head, that I don't even know why I even think of it. D': ..
     
    Well,I'm a mix of those 3. Usually I have ideas in the front of my PC,or out of the fly when I'm doing groceries,or when i'm away and can't note it down ...
    But basically,in front of my computer.
     
    Yeah I'm lucky in that most of my ideas come to me in front of my computer. And I always have a Notepad open for random stuff, so I fill that up with ideas if I have them and don't want to use them just yet. :3
     
    Gah, I always have good ideas when I am driving around town, and then when I get home, or even to a place where I can maybe write something down, I end up forgetting. >__< It's kinda frustrating. :\
     
    A lot of times I get an idea when I'm doing something random, but most of the time I never really act on it. The last two times (taking my last OVP polls for example) I acted on something both ideas came from an MSN conversation I was having with a friend of mine (same friend both times, hurrhurr). My food ideas usually come along when I'm hungry, so you can probably guess how much I'm hungry, hehe. If I acted on my ideas more often, at least when it comes to ideas for PC, I'm sure I would have made many more threads than I have.
     
    I'm not that good at thinking of my own ideas at all, especially thinking of the beginning of something. I usually think of things while talking to friends, or while I'm in the middle of something important (coursework, usually), and forget to write them down. When I actually sit down and try to think of an idea for something - a story, most of the time - I find that I just can't think of anything at all. Strange.
     
    Most of mine are either based on something that just happened to me in real life, or something that I thought up after reading the title of another thread.
     
    Inspiration can happen anywhere, to be honest. If I think of a good idea, normally I'll type it into the Notes section of my phone, as my memory is not the greatest in this regard. But with regards to where I get my ideas from... pretty much anywhere and everywhere. I don't tend to get a lot of ideas for PC threads, so when I do it's quite an event, to say the least.
     
    I get most of my ideas in bed while I'm trying to sleep. They usually seem like the best thing ever until I wake up and realize how wrong I was. I also get a lot of ideas in class when I'm not paying attention, which is about 75% of the time.
     
    Most of my ideas come from whatever is running through my mind at the moment (mostly Pokemon-related things).
     
    Weirdly, most of my ideas come to me in the stock room out the back at work lol. It's a pain because I have to keep my phone on me at all times just in case something strikes. Why can't it just happen right here at the computer? ;;
     
    I get my best ideas in the shower. xD It's one of the few times I actually can think without people bothering me. My mind just kind of wanders in there, and sometimes it's annoying, but sometimes I have some great ideas.
     
    Yeah I'm a shower person. I swear I get all these great ideas in the shower and when I leave, nope, they're all gone. I also get ideas on the computer, too, but those ones I generally just tell people and then I'm like "nope these suck" and I don't do them. :3 Half the ideas I have for anything I just... don't do. XD
     
    Usually in bed, when I'm trying to get sleep and failing, while listening to my music on my laptop... that's been the source of a lot of my ideas, lol Take that how you will.
     
    You wanna get freaked out? Every challenge I have created was thought up while I was in the shower.
     
    Yes, like most of us, I think of ideas when my mind is completely unoccupied, like in the shower, when I'm bored clueless, when I'm taking a dump (err) or when I'm in bed and my insomnia knocks the door.
     
    Most if not all of my ideas come to me within the blink of an eye in any given location, but that's because I walk around a lot since I live near a forest IRL and town's pretty far away too so yeah, my ideas come to me when walking around most of the time.
