"X and Y will include all Pokemon from all previous games, offering the largest selection of Pokemon in any of the series' titles."

That's one of the best parts of these games!

Now it's going to be waiting time for a blended "all regions in one" game. I'd love that but I doubt it'll happen :P

it could be really likely that it was mistranslated but we will just have to wait and see i guess lol though wouldnt one person in nintendo see the interview that can read english and see that it was too specific and wrong and get them to correct it?

I have to disagree with you, starters were a great treats without the mega evos. Venosaur, Empoleon, Infernape and Blastoise were OU, Blazikan was Uber.
so if the kalos starters will be good, people might prefer them, becuase they will be able to spend the mega evo on another pokemon in the team.

I honestly don't believe it. I think it's just a confusing sentence.

There's no way that there are approx. 500 pokemon (unevolved and some 1st stage) in the wild in these games, unless ~250 are exclusive to each game...

It just doesn't seem possible. I'm pretty sure they just meant - All Pokemon can be seen in the game, via trainer battlers / online interaction, and now (with the addition of Kalos pokemon) there are more than ever before.

Delphox is a cool name (Based on Delphi in Greece, where the Oracle lived that could see into the future and communicate with the Gods + fox) But christ, that design is dumb. :/ And I'm sorry, but Greninja's design is dumb too. Quilladin is our only hope. Assuming all of those are real.

No, I love Delphox too. It looks spectacular and I bet it'll be a badass in battle.

I started out this year with Fennekin as my starter choice but the closer we got to release Chespin was going to threaten Fennekin. After seeing Delphox Chespin will need to do a lot to win me over now.

I wasn't planning on picking Fennekin, but the evolution seems a bit plain...And what happened to the stick? Gods, I hope Chespin's evo is good-looking.
 
The fact of all Pokemon in-game makes sense.
I mean, they had to redo all of the old Pokemon!
All the cries were changed too!
It's gonna be weird if we truly have no national dex, but I'm "mega" excited!
 
Some guy at 4chan is leaking, lets see if this guys evolves his Quilladin. He has posted a few screenshots.

Just need to wait if Kalos starters are that good compared to other starters or pokemons using the same type combo. We will only know when player will try to use them for online battles.

I certainly hope at least one of them will be OU...Unova had no OU irc...which made them some of the worst starters competively...

But it doesn't really. It says it offers the largest selection, which is true whether they are all catchable or not.

It could just be a larger selection than BW2, doesn't mean it has to have ALL Pokemon catchable.

B2W2had over 300 pokemon in its pokedex. Less than around 200 were actually catchable. They could have 200-300 catchable Pokemon and still be able to make this claim. That still won't be every one as event exclusives will most likely stay as such meaning 10 or so pokemon cannot be catchable.
 
When thinking about competitive play (or game play) you also have to remember you can only have one mega-evolution per battle. So if you already have a Charizard+megastone or Blaziken, does it really matter that some won't have megas this time around?

Also I think Delphox looks awesome. I don't know what people are saying as 'simple'? Can we remember that Serperior is essentially just a snake with small details, Blastoise was just a large tortoise with cannons, etc. This is a bipedal fox with cloak like fur.

I really like the back view, where you can see the detail in the 'sleeve' shape.

Regardless, I am so hyped!
Part of me doesn't want any more news, part of me does!
