So What did You do for the 4th of July?

This will be the first year we don't actually buy fireworks and set them off on the sidewalk. We'll probably just watch the big fireworks from the front lawn, since we can see them there because they're being launched from a park that isn't very far away.

We watched a casino's fireworks and had a barbeque for dinner (mac 'n cheese, burgers, pasta, and corn on the cob).

Celebrated with the family, launched some fireworks and drank a little bit later tonight and went out with a few friends (mostly girls). It was a fun 4th I'd say!

Invited a bunch of friends and family over. Had a nice cook out, played some touch football. Relaxed with a few beers, chilled and had a good time.

Got stuck in traffic for an hour trying to get on base for the fireworks. Fireworks started before we got on, so we decided to turn around and just head back to my place. Get stuck in traffic for another hour cause everyone who didn't make it in before the fireworks had the same idea XD

Set off a bunch of fireworks in my backyard (both legal and illegal). Some people went home, others stayed to play some board games like Scattegories and Trivial Pursuit. More people went home. My girl fell asleep on the couch for some reason, carried her to bed and I can't seem to fall asleep so here I am at 3 am just surfing the web and playing games and talking to people who are still up via AIM. :P

I saw the fireworks show in Lake City

This year kind of stunk. It was storming so badly my family had to run in the garage because it seemed like we were going to be blown away by a tornado or something. Then when it stopped, half of the things I lit got wet on the ground :\

I stayed home all day and ate a lot of food. I watched the Hot dog eating contest (YES!, THE U.S. WON!!!) then when it hit nighttime I watched all of the Fire crackers

:t354:TG

I went to the beach and later on the park to watch fire works, it was an exhausting (yet excellent) day. :D

Nothing special. It was just an ordinary day for my family and I. We don't really do any special on the 4th of July. All I did was watch some fireworks but I've never set one off before. :/

I was at my grand-parents' neighbor's, where they were lighting off fireworks (actual fireworks, not firecrackers, mind you XD). A couple of times, I had to dodge a firework as it tipped over before launching. Then one must've had a faulty mortar, as it launched no more than 15 feet into the air before exploding. DX

Then the next day, my grandpa and I were stuck cleaning up after both parties (had to go to a grad party on the 4th as well). Oh well, it was fun. . . While it lasted.

Complain about how its such a hypocritical holiday. And then stopped thought about it and decided it wasn't.
