So, why DID you join PC in the first place?

    Title says all, really.

    So, why join PC? What was it about this forum that compelled you to register?

    My story's not really of any complexity. I was just googling for some PokéSpecial scans and came across PC's manga forum, where I found quite a good number of scans by a member called nicoleb. Because of that I decided to stick around for a while. Saw the people here were friendly and thought "Heck why not? Not as if I've got anything better to do with my virtual life."
     
    One of my friend on myspace was telling people they should join PC and because it's fun. I thought I would give it a shot. At first I was a little iffy and didn't post, but lurked the forums, but then I started to post more. ^^;
    That's pretty much it.
     
    I joined cuz I wanted somewhere to trade my pokemon and battle people in real time. I found it on a google search and typed "pokemon forum" haha. It was the first one on the list, so it had to be good and it is! YAY PC
     
    Was a while back, but I remember searching for ROM-Hacking stuff and somehow came accross this place.
    Was just lurking first, but then I wanted to post some of my stuff so I registered. XD

    I was looking for gold remakes.

    Happened upon "As-Stars-Go-Out's" Gold.
     
    The first time, I don't even remember why I joined. I think that summer I'd been joining a lot of new forums, but I barely stayed at any of them. Then a few months later, one of my best online friends, Cas, mentioned she had a fanclub somewhere. So she linked me to this forum and I realized it was the same one I'd joined back in July or August or something. And because it was familiar and this time I had a friend here, I figured I'd join.
     
    I was searching "Poke'mon fusions" on yahoo
    when I saw some fused poke'mon sprites leading to poke'community.

    Then I clicked the sprites, and the bottom had the thread on good old' PC. I went on it. I looked around the forum, and thought "Wow. A poke'mon chatroom-like thing?" but because it was nighttime. I had to go to bed.

    When I woke up, went to school and came back, I looked up "Poke'mon fusions" again and look the link from the sprite again. I registered into the name "Blaze121" (because Blaze was already taken) and there started the arrival of me.
     
    Well in the Summmer of 2005, I was taking my trip to the Philippines. Well I was SO BORED! So I went on the computer. I had Pokemon Emerald so I looked for some pokemon site. I first joined all these cheat sites, Then I found this in a Google search. Then I did more Google searches over and over again, I kept coming to the same site. So when I came back to my Home Country, I remembered PC and signed up.
     
    I've visited here some time before but never bothered to join. Place was mentioned by Nayana at another forum I visit, after which I decided to join since I knew I knew at least one person from here.
     
    I was going to buy Pokemon Pearl soon, and I might as well check up on Google for a really good forum just to talk about Pokemon. I ended up here and was pretty satisfied when I joined.
     
    Well, one day I decided to join a bunch of different forums to see if they had any good moderators...I joined Bulbagarden, SPPF, (they have the worst mods, IMO) and other forums.
    Then, after lurking this place for a long while, I finally decided to join PCF. I'd say this is the best Pokemon forum there is.
     
    I was forced to. I'm not kidding, I was forced to join PC. XD

    A little over 4 years ago me and a friend (Soph) met on a site called The-APCC (back then it was a PC Community Site). About the only way we could keep in contact was making comments on that site (I was a n00b, didn't want MSN, didn't like emails, hated chat rooms). So comments on the site it was. One day we pretty much spammed the whole comment board thingy up (we had like 5 updates full of comments, I think around 50 per update), and Sean (the site owner) was pissed. Thought about turning off comments all together, or banning our comment accounts. So he told us to use the chat room, or join his forum Pokemon Community (it was "Pokemon Community" back then). So I joined PC, and a week later she did. I didn't know what to make of PC (I saw it I guess a few months before and left as soon as I went in), I was a n00b to online and had never seen a message board before. I thought it was one messed up site, all sorts of strange things on it. I made my first post, got this messed up reply from ^^NICK^^ (how many of you oldies are going "Wow... ^^NICK^^ haven't seen that in ages" right now? XD) freaked me out and I thought about leaving. But I stuck with it, and thought I'd look at the rest of the "site" before staying or leaving. And thought I would stick to PMs for my chats with Soph. And I did, I got around PC, moved into the Pokemon Handheld Gaming forum and the rest is history.
     
    Gosh, that was a long time ago! Though not as long as some people...

    In the beginning I was kind of like a lurker, I just looked around here and there. Then I realized, man, this place is great! ...and big, too! And I wanted to be a part of the "action"!

    I find this to be a great place to unwind and chat and it's still one of the first things I look at when turning on my computer!

    ...and so, here I am! ^_^
     
    I was looking for sprite comics and i really liked it here,and im a pretty big pokemon gamer:-)
     
    I had joined SPPF a few months before and that was my first time joining a forum and I decided to look for other ones to join. I googled some stuff and then found this forum here and decided to join right away. I wasn't too sure if I'd stay on here and be active since I was on SPPF and all. But everyone was super friendly and I ended up being way more active here <3 So baisically, I joined because I just wanted to be apart of another pokemon forum XD
     
    Well, it was a couple years ago when Runescape began to bore me....
    I didn't have anything else that I liked.
    So just for the heck of it, I googled "pokemon" and somewhere in there came up the pokecommunity.
    I said to myself, "well, sure, I mean, I play all of the games so ^_^"
    and the default layout looked purdy! XD
    The whole thing is fuzzeh and blurry in my head, but that's what happened. Then I posted this n00b topic because I had no idea what I was doing or where I was or anything else. XDDD I remember that.
