Calling all rockaholics, pop fans, metal heads, hip-hoppers, and general audiophiles! It's time to come together and use your music knowledge to form the Song Chain!
This game is pretty simple to play, starting from the first song in the chain a person will name a song (along with the artist) that matches lyrics from the previous song in the chain, followed by the line of lyrics that the new song matches.
Example:
Person 1: Livin' on a Prayer, Bon Jovi
Person 2: Home, Daughtry
…She brings home her pay for love…
Person 3: Pain, Three Days Grace
…Trying to hide the pain…
Then person 4 will name a song that matches lyrics from Three Days Grace's Pain and so on.
Rules
1. Two songs of the same name cannot be linked together directly.
2. A song's entire title must be found within the same line of a song to fit into the chain.
- If a song goes has multiple official titles then either title will do.
3. The artist of a song must be given, as many artists have songs of similar names and even cover songs occasionally change a word or two.
- For Disney songs you can just name the movie instead of the artist if you wish (upon a star :D).
4. There's no points or anything but the more words a song title has in the chain the more impressive it looks.
I'll start the chain with a song everyone here should know:
Pokemon Theme, Jason Paige
