    Ignore my join date for now, even though I've been a member since 2010 I never got round to writing anything here, plus I've been absent for a good 2 years so I thought it would be best to reintroduce myself. My name is Cal, and when I first joined here I only had the intention of finding somebody to trade me the other starter Pokemon to my Soulsilver version. But the more time I spent on here the more I became enthralled with everything else PC had to offer; such as the battle center, it was there I learnt all about EV's etc and soon became a fairly decent competitive battler. I also made a couple of friends along the way, which was really nice since I'm a closet Pokemon fan and have literally nobody to talk to it about, whether anyone I used to speak to on here are still active or not I don't know. However somewhere along the line I got caught up with the usual stuff (exams, family problems, love life) and what little time I had for PC faded away. On top of that my desperate need for money resulted in me having to sell my beloved DS *single tear rolls down cheek*. All of this led to me forgetting about PC.

    However for the past few weeks I've seen myself lurking around the forum as a guest, and it's only now I've realised there was so much more to PC I didn't contribute to since my last escapade (Chit Chat Cafe, discussion threads), plus I'd forgotten just how friendly everyone was. So yeah, better late than never eh? Since I'm no longer able to do wifi battles I'm just planning on getting my god awful username changed and getting to know everyone on here again!

    yes I agree with you, PC is full of awesome friendly people!

    I was never a competitive battler though, I think it's cool that people spend so much time making the perfect team and stuff. me, i just use Pokemon I love and find cool/cute haha.

    I hope you are able to get a new DS soon and play XY!

    besides Pokemon, what other stuff do you like?

    but yeah, I'd love to chat sometime! :D feel free to send a message or something if you're bored and want to chat~
     
    Thanks for the speedy response Yukiyo, I notice you've recently made a return to PC as well? Looks like we can be newbies again together haha!

    I am definitely planning on getting a 3DS ASAP, preferably the XL, but that may take soon time saving up for. :( X & Y look incredible though!

    Pokemon aside, I'm very keen with my sport and hopefully will be studying law in the future, if I get the right grades.

    Was nice to meet you anyway, hopefully I'll see you around the forum!

I've been a member since 2010 myself, and I do enjoy the memories here! Well then, welcome back, Cal! Great to meet you; I don't think we've met before, but it's awesome to. :3

    Feel free to take the time on catching up with the things that you've missed around here! And yup, name changes are back, there are new boards, new moderators, new people, etc. And of course, the Battle Center for your competitive interests are still kicking! You know what, we also have a Showdown Server if you're interested in that! Cause simulated battles are fuuuun, and the regulars hang out there too! But of course, we are all pokemon fans here, so, don't worry, anytime you would like to talk about stuff bud, I'd love to at anytime!

    And ah, sorry about your DS. ;o; But hopefully you'll be able to get another one soon, yes?! To play the 3DS games with us, like Pokemon X&Y? :3 Mmm, but regardless, great that you've returned, and I hope to see you again real soon!
