Here's the scenario. You're making a 20-track (20 tracks EXACTLY and ONLY) CD to put away, and you'll take it out in 20 or 30 years' time to show your kids what you were listening to and what you were doing in 2005. What do you put on it, and why?
Here's mine:
1. Schubert's Trout Quintet, first movement - because I played this at camp, with a group of really great girls.
2. Good Charlotte - S.O.S. - because it's one of my favourite songs at the moment, and GC is my favourite band.
3. Simple Plan - Welcome To My Life - the song I just tabbed out on my guitar.
4. 52 Reason - This Picture - because they are a fantastic young Melbourne band I found out about a couple of months ago, and I feel they're the next big thing.
5. Something With Numbers - Crowner of Kings - same as above, except they're from NSW central coast.
6. Yellowcard - Only One - I first realised I could play my violin in a punk band when I heard Yellowcard, and this is my favourite song by them.
7. Switchfoot - Dare You To Move - for some reason, this song always makes me cry, and I just think the music is really beautiful.
Will add the rest of my tracks later... need time to think....
