    does anything special happen at the space station in emerald???
     
    Nope, just count the weeks since you started the game.

    EDIT: Yeah, I forgot the Magma takeover, but since it's mandatory to keep playing I didn't think on it ^^'

    yes, after defeating Liza & Tate, Team Magma will attack the space station, you must clear it out to get Dive from Steven to continue.
     
    You can also get deoxys there if you go to an event or use a cheat device (always get those two mixed up). At least that's what I heard.

    Actually, this isn't true. You get Deoxys from an island available through the ferry system as long as you have the proper ticket (Aurora) from Nintendo. It's pretty much the same as getting one in Fire Red/Leaf Green.

    In other words, no, the space center does not send you up into space to get a Deoxys, like the rumor says.
     
    Except the Team Magma event in Emerald, nothing will happen there.
    No Deoxys, no trip to the moon, not even a cup of coffee.
