Issue: Spacer Problem Persists

I thought maybe it'd fix itself, but apparently not lol!

Same browser (Chrome). Same Windows 8 PC. Same resolution. Same chosen profile background image. I honestly haven't touched anything in the time that the spacer worked and the spacer broke. The only things that changed on the board were the welcome messages and, thereafter, the donation ranks, but I don't believe these would've affected it.

This is what my profile looks like, if no one noticed / if it doesn't show up like this for anyone else:

Now, you Should be able to see the background image of Hilda, but on my screen (again, haven't touched anything since the spacer broke on me, both on my PC and in my CP) it shows my header all squished upwards without the 5" space granted by the spacer option.

Mozilla Firefox has the same problem. Adding an invisible profile picture in the meantime was unsatisfactory: it still chopped off most of Hilda's face.

Please help me fix my profile :( it's so fugly now.

What style are you using? It appears fine for me in Chrome on Infernal Smash (fixed width).

Your profile looks fine on my end as well, but as Terabyte said it may be a problem with certain skins (and going by the screenshot posted by Team Fail it looks like the text isn't in gold italics either) so maybe try using another skin.

I've tried Kanto Dream Party, Generation INverse and Let's Fly Together. I had Let's Fly Together before and it worked 100% perfectly, but then one day it just stopped working :( and now the skins I like to use (see above) all have the same problem.

I guess you tried deleting your cookies and browser cache already, right? If not try that.

With all the work being done on styles lately, its not impossible that something got broken or missed so just hang in there and it'll get looked at and fixed soon enough.

Let me know what styles the video swapping/spacer doesn't work on, and I'll add it to the list of broken things I'm working to fix. Should be starting up again from tomorrow onwards, hopefully eradicating most bugs and oddities around all styles. This announcement explains that a bit, but there's still a large list of things that need to be fixed across all styles.

Someone added the option to have the spacer a while back, but it didn't get implemented to all styles I don't think. That's most likely the issue.

I did that originally when I was having this issue, so cookies doesn't have anything to do with it. It didn't fix the problem last time after all. I'll do it again anyway, though.

Will go hunting for an OK-looking theme where this works. Which themes are you guys using? Because if I swap to that theme and it still doesn't work, then it's something on my end or something :\

I really can't say what would suit you best, but some of the themes that do work for me which are similar to what you use are: PokéLink 4 Pink/blue, Pawlicious, The Stand Nexus, Dimensional Rift, and those are just a few. Try those out, and I'll put the style inconsistencies on the to-do list.
