Script: Specific Battle Frontier AI resource?

    Hello,

    Is there a specific resource I can use to better understand how the battle frontier AI works?

    For instance, I need to know if I make a new move with a pre-existing effect, will a mon be able to use it correctly or does it need the original move with the original effect in order to function?

    Preferably without digging through the games code.
     
    If the move uses the same exact function code as an existing move, then it will be used by the AI in exactly the same way (taking type and damage into consideration, of course). That said, the AI is pretty dismal, so it probably won't be used very intelligently regardless.
