Welcome to the Get Together 2021 Art Contest: Get Together Speed Art Challenge 2.0
If you think you are the fastest then this contest is definitely for you. If you want to laugh, this contest is also for you don't worry.
So, what is the speed challenge?
Basically a challenge where you put your artistic skills to test and try to draw as fast as possible something within a time limit.
How the challenge works?
Normally you would go from the longest time to the shortest, but in this Get Together we are doing it in reverse, from the shortest time limit to the longest time limit.
What are this time limits you are talking about?
It can vary from challenge to challenge, but there are always 3 time limits.
In this Get Together we are going to use for the first 30 seconds, for the second 3 minutes and for the third 30 minutes.
3s-3m-30m format for short.
But I'm reading only about time limits. What is that something that we are going to draw?
Good question. This Get together you are going to draw a randomly selected Pokémon for you and you are going to draw it as fast as you can.
Simple enough right? Just draw your Pokémon 3 times within 3 time limits. But there is a catch. This Get Together you will not only be randomly given a Pokémon, you will also get a random element or theme you will have to work with and add it to your Pokémon drawing.
How are winners going to be chosen?
The community is going to vote for the best. A poll will be created for that purpose.Once all master pieces are finished, they will be assigned a number and a poll will be created were the community can vote for what they think is the best drawing/art.
The creation with the most votes will win first place, then it will be chosen, according to the votes, second and third place.
When is the event happening?
Changes coming soon due to schedules colliding with other events. Probably around 20:00 EST / 21:00 ET

You can draw/paint on paper, take a photo and post itYou can use paint or similar programs and post your results.
What else do I need to know?
Well, even though there aren't judges this year, always aim to do your best and apply these criteria to your drawings.
1. The Pokémon resemblance to the original design (of course you can change the characteristics of your Pokémon like if you want it to be fancy, a brawler, a warrior, etc.)
2. Try to be as original as possible (no copying the art work of someone else, remember it has to be your creation, of course you can use references).
3. Use shades and colors as best as you can.
4. Add a prompt or description at the end of what was your goal. For example, If you are going to draw a milotic and you want it to be fancy and you draw it with a gentleman's hat and a moustache reading a sophisticated book with a cup of wine, in the description add your goal or tittle of what you were aiming at. (you will have 1 minute after all the drawings are finished to add it (maybe more time depending on how fast you can post it / max 5)).
Add mint cocoa in your favorite color if you have read everything in your entry form.
Scores:
First: 30 pts
Second: 20 pts
Third: 10 pts
Participation: 5 pts

Note: Remember, for this event we are doing it in reverse, from the shortest time to the longest. Also remember that once the time limit ends you can't change or modify your artwork.
