I haven't got to Clair yet. I need to train my pokemon more

I beat Clair on my second try. A guidebook says the average team level should be Lv. 45, but I had 4 Lv. 35 and 2 Lv. 36 Pokémon.

EDIT: The water Pokemon that follows me around the most is Godzilla, my faithful Quagsire!
All six of my pokemon were level 35 when I beat Claire! No grinding for me!









...at least until the tenth time I got thumped by Karen's Umbreon...

If you where a water gym leader, what kind of puzzles would you have in your gym to challange trainers?

Something where they have to use surf to get over big waves or something

Right now, I'm in Kanto and I just beat Sabrina. My Pokemon are still rather under-leveled.

Hmm... For the gym, I think it would be cool to have an underwater maze, although everyone would need to have scuba equipment... The whole concept of Dive in Hoenn was kind of flawed, because somehow you and your Pokemon didn't need to breathe. -.-

Well in the anime, they seem to be able to hold theri breath for outragously long amounts of time

Dive was a neat move though. I wish they would have done more with it

Right, I enjoyed being able to go underwater. They will improve it in Gen 5, since they'll probably remake Ruby and Sapphire.

I'd do something along the lines of filling up containers with water to get to the next stage within a time limit or something

Probably some type of thing where you're inside bubbles, and you have to raise/lower them to get to another bubble.
