in a sence i think its a good trade off either way.

Gyarados has a weakness to Electric X4 and Rock x2 and five resistances (Bug, steel, Water, Fire and fighting) and one immunity (Ground),

Lugia have 5 weaknesses (Rock, Ghost, Electric, Ice and Dark) and 3 resistances (Fighting, grass and Psychic).

Suddenly that times 4 for electric does not sounds so much of a threat.

Since Electric types and attacks become more common on CB's. And Lugia's Uber(godly defenses yo).

Am I the only one who adores Wooper?
I like Quagsire more. XD lolDo you consider Ice-types to be a Water-type clone?

A clone means it has the same trait or genetic material of the parent, which in this case it is not. Ice is a special or sub-branch of Water, which adds to its advantage to grass-types.

Not to mention, its weakness to fire. ;)

You got a point there. But most Ice-types are Specially Defensive, especially Regice. You have to hit it with a very powerful Fire attack and usually 2 times!

Thick fat is especially useful for the likes of Houndoom and Charizard.
