Tbh, I was kinda disappointed when I find out that I don't have enough cash to get ORAS for a while, considering the money dilemma I mentioned in one of my earlier blog entries, but at least, I have to contain my hype by watching some ORAS walkthroughs at the moment, and I was surprised when I saw it. I'll share the early part of the game, and this blog entry may contain spoilers, you have been warned.
Seeing the prologue makes me wish to have ORAS even more, and I hope I'll get one soon, and I hope the same for you, too.
Spoiler:
The scene begins with the good old Prof. Birch introduction, in the trueness of GBA, no less! Seeing this entrance sure reminds me of good old nostalgia that I have when I started my Pokémon Sapphire and Emerald. But then I realized that it was from the PokéNav, apparently, and then the scene shows the beauty of the Pokémon world, like when Taillow, Tropius and Shroomish, among others, are enjoying their life there. I personally think Game Freak has done a pretty good job at making the old intro much better.
Also, apparently the chat with the Professor is finished when the truck is almost arriving in Littleroot Town, and the door is already opened on the moment the player do just that. Oh, and when I entered the house, the duo Machoke are about to finish the moving, and I like how they are telling the mom and the player that their work is finished, this feels much more natural. Plus, when the player had to set a time, you don't have to do the control pad thing anymore, the game will just do it for you. Considering that it uses the time in your 3DS console, that's a nice touch.
So, the player also goes to his/her neighbor's house, and I love how a certain boy/girl is about to set their gear and about to set, and noticed the player upstairs. And he/she will introduce him/herself asOrlando Brendan, or May, and about to rush off when noticed that he/she have to find some Pokémon with his/her dad. So, the player noticed that a boy finds out that someone might need help, and when the player advances to Route 101...
*rawr!*
Wow, I was amazed that the chase scene also involves Poochyena's cry, I don't think I heard it in the original game, iirc. And looks like Poochyena is glaring at the Professor, so the player have to pick the starters and handled it. And after that, the Professor Birch reveals that he was about to survey the Pokémon until that event of getting chased happens. So, after the discussion, they head back to the lab.
