Astral, there's not enough contrast in your colours, they blend too much.

Neo, the palette's don't really seem to be like the pokemon ones, and the POV is wrong ona few, but hey, pretty good for a first timer :D
 
What do you mean?
Orange and blue are exact opposites..
But do you mean they almost blend together, and don't really define their area, and they just kind of mix? I dunno.
POV=Point of view?
the tree is probably m favorite. Also, just a speculation, but I thinkthe ripples in the water need to be in a pattern rather than a somewhat repeating handrawn set of lines.
 
Look at your shades of orange, they're too bland, they blend together in a way it removes the whole point of shading =/

he now has new revamped coloring, more shading, and a little scratch work on the belt and arm. CC
 
Try to avoid gradients, it ruins the sprite and takes it out of the style.

w00t for trieng to revamp Hoenn! I wanted to make Little Root in FR/LG and I did, I extremely like how it came out.

where do you get your tiles.. like.. your resources?
 
Thanks for the comment Kaku, your Snail Town is cool to :D. Today I felt like spriting Skiploom, because I saw a custom sprite of a Jumpluff and felt like spriting Skiploom. So here it is.

Definately not my full potential, but I did these in under an half an hour.
The trainer sprite is a cheap edit/recolor, the OW's are recolors, edits, and body replacement for the front view. I'm not happy with them at all.
the front is definately my favorite pose, the side's are pretty bad, and there's not much to say about the back.

lol, loveing snailyville there Kaku, it looks so amazing with that colour choice.
and Goatman, your style is the hot. it is. <3
personally, i dont thnk you need to change anything on that skiploom, it just rockies my sockies da whay it is!!!<3
and as for you Astral, nice new charater deisng and the overworlds (somthing i never got the hang of) look superb to me!
but your actual sroite seems a bit bland. I think thats more just the sprites you edited it from, you need to blend it al together a bit more.. i think...
i.e the head doesnt workwith the body too well, the colour choices and pose set it o far apart from the body.
the sprite needs to flow... x3.

Thanx. I'm thinking about editing the neck and the arms, so it's a little less obvious of Brendan's body. The sprites resembles me extremely closely. He could be my twin 0.o

This is what I think Ho-oh should look like. Why, because its called the rainbow pokemon, but its real sprite isn't even rainbow!? So, yeah, this is my Ho-oh, like the rules say, don't steal it, this took me forever to get the colors right!

hahha, i think the reason the sprite wasnt rainbow was coz they couldnt use that many colours!
still, this is really awesome! wonderful colour choice!
