That's a pretty nice concept.
But it lacks on the drawing department.
There's alot of things on it that aren't correct, or could look better.
First off, there's his position. It's rather boring, and the positions of his legs don't make much sense. Neither do the legs show any understanding of anatomy. Though pokemon of course are fantasy creatures, they are still based on real life anatomy.
For example your pokemon resembles a dog like creature, so let's just make it's muscle and bone system resemble that of a dog.
Another problem is the complete lack of depth.
You can't tell which legs are front, or back or left or right.
A clear definition of this through shadows and highlights is important.
I redid your pokemon to show you what I mean:
It's a quick 10 minute redo of yours. It has the same design with some small tweaks here and there. I changed the colours, the anatomy, the pose and I added depth.
Remember I'm just trying to help out. I'm not trying to insult you or say that your sprites are bad. I'm just saying there's room for improvement, and I'm trying to get you there.
