4th Gen Sprites extracted! Discussion.

Another place for me to gush about how much I LOVE Arcanine and Dragonite's new sprites! Yay!
They both have their best sprites since Crystal, IMHO - since then I've disliked them intensely and I'm so glad that I can finally have good looking Pokemon on my team again! =3
I also really like Pikachu. =]

Moving swiftly onto trainer sprites... I LOVE the new female antagonist's look. Man, if I had the right figure to pull that look off, I'd wear it all the time. She looks SO AMAZING!
I'm loving Brock's art too... He's so dreeeaamy....
Nice to see Giovanni in there, but too bad he's wearing that hat... Then again, it's a really cool hat, so I guess it's okay. =3

EDIT: I also love the new female Rocket grunt. She looks awesome. =3
EDIT. Mk.2: R/B/Y rival next to protagonist there? He looks awesome too. =D
Surely not ANOTHER EDIT: His name is Green, and he's the Viridian City Leader. I had forgotten... Good times. =3

Just on a side note,the shady man has a 80@ chance of being Giovanni.Look Here for more info.
 
The only sprite I dont like this time is Blastoise, which sucks because I liked the way it was in DPPt.
 
The Kanto Starters remind me of their Yellow Version sprites, and in my opinion they look badly drawn, or just really cartoony.
And Pikachu has been looking more and more weird as time goes on, Same with Raichu.

I'll just name the sprites I dont like.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pidgey, Pikachu, Raichu, Machop, Machoke, Hypno, Mr. Mime, Scyther, Magmar, Mew, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Togepi, Togetic, Mareep, Ho-Oh and Celebi.

But, I really like, Arbok, Machamp, Arcanine, Kabutops, Sentret, and Blissey.

Jolteon looks completely horrible.
 
Lance's back sprite and Charazard's sprite own.
 
Palkia looks pretty awesome. The head still looks like a giant phallus though.
 
'Ho man those new eeveelutions are kickass. Especially Eevee, it looks so much better!
 
HGSS All Star Dancers!

Ok I'm not too far in hgss yet, I just started playing (Ecruteak) but I've noticed some characters so far that kinda remind me of dances due to their pose.

The first post is hilarious! XD I hate the Stanky Leg. But yeah, those three do appear to be dancing.
 
I almost got smacked by a friend, shes was doing the stanky leg, and I said "That is one stanky leg" and she got mad, I was like wtf?!
But I know she wears shoes, I'm just a lyric nazi, I'm sorry.
 
Merging as ultimately it's discussing sprites from the game, and this thread is for discussing them all already.
