For some reason, I can imagine Riku only having one parent. o_o; He seems like the type of guy who'd either live with a dad who wasn't very skilled in parenting, or a frail mother he'd want to protect. Kairi's parents aren't mentioned, are they? I know her grandmother is in KH1...
 
Riku is totally the Brock of his family. His dad ran away to become a Pokemon Master ...idk baker or something and Riku was left to take care of his 50 little brothers and sisters. :( Or... or not.

I'm actually going to be disappointed when Sora's mom isn't a boss in KH3 now. :(
 
Sora = Ash, Kairi = Misty?

Doesn't Riku get crabby when Maleficent refers to him as being like a son to her? D; I don't remember it much. ;-;

You never know. o: Squeenix are full of surprises. :D
 
Does he? I haven't played KH1 in aaaages so I don't remember many individual scenes. XD;

I fully intended to play through KH1 and KH2 again this summer but I seem to have run out of time. :(

My brother did a speed run of KH2 in about 7 the other weekend, actually. I'm just... so slow though. XD I mean, I'll sit down with any game with the intention of just doing a bare-bones run and getting it done with quickly and by the end it's taken me hours and hours because I end up doing all the fun sidequests and whatnot. 8(

Nyeh, the circumstances for his reluctance may be because she's evil, I haven't found the scene yet. XD

EDIT: Found it! Afer Maleficent says he's like a son, she kinda strokes his face and he slaps her hand away. XD

A speed run in 7 hours? Wow. XD

Now I might go watch videos of Terra fights. :P

Ew. :( If Larxene being all touchy-feely and hi-i'm-in-your-personal-space means that people OTP her with Axel, does that mean that scene is enough for people to pair Riku with Maleficent? baaaaw.

And yeah, seven hours. He played through it properly so he'd remember what to do and then speed ran it, skipping any and all cutscenes and skipping the worlds you didn't need to do. XD;

Considering on what it looks like when Larxene approaches Riku Replica in one of the Re:COM scenes, I'm surprised people don't ship that. D; I think Riku Replica x Namine is pretty cute. XD

Kairi doesn't know her family, not even her grandmother. She seems to have forgotten all about her time in Radiant Garden. I heard that she lives with the Mayor of Destiny Islands, although I forget where. You have to remember, she just appeared on Destiny Islands one day.

Ah, that's what I was unsure of, because all I can recall is Sora seeing her with her grandmother in the castle's library, and then him and Riku in the cave talking about the girl who arrived on the islands or something. o: So thanks~ ^_^

The KH Wiki has the Japanese release date as December 31st of this year. If that is true, then I guess the rest of us will get it within the standard after-it's-come-out-in-Japan time frame.

:/ I haven't heard anything about a release date. Considering 358/2 had a release date of late May in Japan and we were getting information "regularly" since the beginning of the year, I'm quite doubtful that BBS will come out in December. Not enough time to hype it up.

I assume they'll give us a ballpark date (or a real date that'll end up being pushed back) at TGS this year though.
 
The official site doesn't list it and I haven't see anything about it so I'm not gonna get my hopes up. :/ Considering all we got out of the last BBS-related interview or article was the new world, I don't think it's true--it'd be mentioned all over if it were.
 
Well, I'll think positive- the longer it takes for them to release BBS, the more chance I've got of the PSP coming down in price. XD
