i agree with eliana, not cause i wanna be a mod,but come on its kinda not fair to those who have been here longer and a member that joined last month got moded and the meber that was here for 8 months hasent.
Some mods waited almost two years to become modded. Don't complain, it's nothing to do with your join date. I don't think join date and post count are even considerations in modding.

A good point that is, JA. Patience is the key, young grasshopper. XD

If someone acutally thinks thoese two things have anything to do with being a mod, then chance is that they are not suited to be one.

Remember when you wanted to be a mod? You were going off on whoever you thought was spamming and endded up doing more harm then good.
We all do that at times. <_<

But not much.

They arent related at all @.@
Look at LilyPichu. (sorry if you didnt wanna be used as an example) she was here for just over a month before she was modded. The fact wasnt how long she was here, but how good/talented she was, and I think has other mod experience.

Watch the language Adam...

And Maca, leave the personal stuff out of it.

Adam, it is pretty obvious that you wanna be a mod, asking for it even

And we do have S-Mods for a reason you know, they cover all of the areas, even the ones with no mods

That works Zappy.

And what do you mean by "promote" - as in give mods more forums, or promote mods to S-Mods?

I mean give the current mods powers in more forums, I think we'll have to ask Steve if we want to promote any one of you to a higher position.

Final Ending Statement Is...
We are not going to hire any new mods. We will assign current mods to more forums to help deal with spam. The end.

But someone that's been here 2 years and has 400 posts may not get the spot......

SORRY THIS IS A VERY LATE POST! AS YOU CAN SEE THIS POST IS VERY BIG AND TIME CONSUMING SO IT PROBABLY WON'T FIT INTO THE CURRENT DICUSSION!

Thanks Zappy! (if I can call you Zappy Zapchu) Now I can give y'all something to ponder about:

Opinions? yes I have tons! Some good some bad. Most, if not all people do. My opinion of not promoting members? That's a bad decision. Some members might be more efficent than most in doing a good job. Not saying that these mods aren't good, I'm just saying you're missing oppertunities. My suggestion? Well I think you should have mods that heavily mod one forum to keep an eye out for potiental, and once they deem a member qualified, trustworthy, and so on and so forth, then they should tell someone who can promote the member about him or her. And the mod or whoever, should give a valid reason, and if an admin or whoever deems the member qualified and thinks they need the person, then bam mod the member. As for promoting mods? Very good, but don't just promote a mod, follow what I said for promoting members to promote mods.

Yup!
-_-;;; why do I have this bad feeling flaming may occur VERY soon? o0;;

sorry about that,im not power hungry,i like to help in any way i can.If i was power hungry i would go buy a forum and just be an admin.
