Stardew Valley

I can't wait for this to come in sale, I want someone to talk about the game XD
I am almost in fall now :3
 
I just started Fall as well - I actually think it's my favorite season so far, the colors of all the leaves and plants are so pretty!

I've started to make my farm look neater too - I have the tools to clear the big stumps and rocks now, will share some screenshots when it's presentable. :)

I haven't cleaned all my farm yet. I started the first day of fall today.
I spend too many days minning. I have a coop but still no chickens XD I wait for the hay to grow.


Do you befriend someone? Do you know who you'll marry, if you do?

Been doing a lot of mining too, finally got to level 80 - tbh I just wanted to be able to mine gold so I can make more quality sprinklers, haha (and holy crap the monsters are getting tough). Watering crops is such a waste of time and energy. And I just got my first chicken, so it's still a little baby. :P

I'm at 1-2 hearts with about half the villagers so far, haven't really prioritized socializing much yet. I don't really like any of the single boys, am seriously considering marrying a girl instead, lol. Leah, most likely. How about you?

I am level 45 in the mine. I don't find gold that much. I must go in the low level and check the mining karts.
If I am marrying a man it's gonna be Eliott. Hey, I like man with long hair, what can I say. He looks like Fabio
I am considering marrying a girl too, just because I can. The girl sprites are always better, no matter the game, urrgh. I am thinking maye Leah too, and I got two hearts with Haley.

Almost thinking to install a mod that will change the bachelor's face hahaha


Have you seen the mod that change the creatures and animal into Pokemon??

I know, I was just thinking that too - female NPCs always look better in games in general, haha. I didn't know about the mod that changes their faces, I might do that too. :P

I'm not sure if I would want my game to look like that, but it's cool, lol.

And yup, I did see the Pokemon mods! Lots of other mods that change the animals' appearances too, I saw one that changed your dog into Undertale's annoying dog, thought that was really funny.

They added a new official update this morning too! It mostly improves marriage so we won't notice much of a change yet, but it's nice to know they're still working on improving the game all the time.

Ohh My friend installed me a torrent of the game, I don't have steam so I can't have the updates :(

But hey, I want a desktop and I want a steam account, I woul totally buy this game and start again! It's the kind of game that you can have a multiple save file and it's still fun! You can't have two identical games.

Are you in winter yet? I'm a few days away and not sure what to expect. :P In Harvest Moon, it was usually the most boring season for me since I couldn't grow anything, but there are winter seeds here, so that's interesting. I guess I could try to reach the bottom of the mines, too.

I have a big paper to finish for today so I haven't played much this week-end. I'm gonna play a lot tonight! :D
Some Harvest moon has seeds in the winter too. In friend of mineral town you unlock a second mine in the winter only.
I'll probably go mining and chop what's left of my trees in my land. Oh and fishing a lot, for the community center. I did many missions but I only did one of the fishtank.. I need to fish in the mine too, I might find some interesting stuff in there! Have you tried it?

Oh yeah, I forgot about fishing! I completely neglected that skill since I'm so awful at the minigame, haha. Definitely will have time to work on that during the winter. ^^
 
I'm gonna enter in the Winter tonight! I am 28 of Fall!
 
Been addicted to this game so badly that I lost track of what real world day it was. Had a crash when I the baby was born(but not after the game saved), and the pregnancy was gone and I had to start all over with the waiting(and for the dialogue to initiate it).

I am sad, I thought we had seeds in winter, but no... Well I did had 30 mixed seed (finished the Pantry in the community center) --> So I've unlocked the bridge repair. That's nice. Not sure I'll use this much tho.
 
I was planning to get this sometime soon. What are some of the more fun festivals?

Errr honestly I haven't liked the festivals much.... They are not like Harvest Moon, they are more to talk with the others than to participate (compare to HM cow of chicken festivals)


Personally I feel like HM is more animal based and SV is more Crops, mining and crafting --> the craft side is like a Minecraft based. I recently crafted something to make wine and pickles jar.

I love mining :3 I buy a lot of swords and I craft bombs, they help a lot.
 
So I am Stardew Valley now.

I know this game was published by Chucklefish (making it one of the more popular non-indie titles to make it this big on Steam since...I don't even know how long), but man...this game feels like Starbound. I have to wonder how much of a hand they had in this, because...more so aesthetically than gameplay-wise, it feels pretty Starbound.

Though, I like it more than Starbound, so that much is good. Don't have too much of an opinion since I just started, but I do like how it feels, so far.

I married Penny.

I only lost the pregnancy, so I need to get the dialogue to trigger again to make more babies. No idea why that happens, but hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.
 
Yeah, the festivals haven't been that interesting, but sometimes there's a stall where you can buy festival-exclusive things, which is why I go. The only interactive ones I remember going to so far is the Egg Festival, where there's an egg hunt, and Spirit's Eve, where there's a maze, but they're not very exciting activities. :P

In other news, I've fully upgraded the coop and I have a bunny now! I really like the larger selection of animals here - I don't know how realistic it is to raise rabbits on a farm for their "wool" without skinning them, but they're very cute, lol. And expensive, considering they don't reproduce. :c
