Stardew Valley

Sooo they are talking about expending this game on console.. any thoughts about this?

So.... I ate a Starfruit...

... and it tasted like cows..

I bought this game. I think I now have a problem. /twitches uncontrollably.

I really love the huge range of things to do, and the little collections are really keeping me going. The only thing I don't like are the social mechanics :c idk, it seems a bit ridiculous how much effort I'd have to put in to get a character to like me without googling their favourite foods.

Oh well. Marnie will be my only friend :c.

lmao haha. Actually, this was one of the things that I loved about the game. Compared to Harvest Moon games, it is much easier to get people to like you. If you give a present to someone on their birthday, you get two hearts straight. Later in the game it because extremely easy to get them to like you. You should leave friendship to the second year and focus on making money, you're gonna need it, a lot of it.

Because the people annoyed me I was an eccentric recluse who invested all his money in crops XD I managed to make a tonne of money in year 1, enough to renovate the community bank room at least. I'm just about into Summer Y2 and back up to 20k or so. Yay.

Although I just destroyed half my farm to rearrange things so... that money will soon disappear again :').

I feel like Y1 was pretty productive, I got the Quarry unlocked, the minecarts in action and just got to the bottom of the mine at the start of Y2. Working on getting the greenhouse now :c.

Wow, that's some hardcore gaming :P

I completed the community center in year 2. I am now at the very beginning of year 3 and I have 300000 gold that I saved to destroy everything and rearrange :P You did it early. Have you been in the skull mines yet? That thing's hard, I only made it to level 80.

I poked my head in but was like LOLNOPE as a swarm of Mummies attacked me. I think there's a sword upgrade I need to buy, I've had the same one for a while now so that might help aha.

I hope to finish it Y2 as well, although I really cba fishing. I put it off for a long time because it was pretty tedious, I'm better at it now but after sorting my crops and things meh XD.

I have the game for a bit now and I absolutely love it. I haven't played harvest moon, so I don't really have that much in common with the farming theme, but I've played a lot of animal crossing and I still see some of that in this game as well.

I don't feel like I'm doing that well on my first run, though. I'm still in Spring, but I'm like 2 weeks in and I have like no money at all. I have some crops now, but that's about it and they'll take some time to mature. It's also going to be Flower Dance somewhere soon. Oh oh, I'm trying hard to become friendsies with someone but I heard it's very very very hard. Buuuut I'm doing my beeeeeeest

I absolutely can't wait for multiplayer. As far as I've heard, it's confirmed. I want it so much. I'd looooove to play Stardew Valley together with a friend. That'd be soooo awesome. Anyone else here that ever thought of playing Stardew as a co-op farming game?

Good job developer, good job chucklefish. After Starbound I'm not very surprised Chucklefish decided to publish this game.

I fund it hard at first too, but then I stpped trying and I realized I had many friends XD Just talk to everyone you see!
Winter is a good time t make friends, because you have much less work to do.
