Here is where you can discuss Team Galactic's Iron Island operation in "Steeling Peace of Mind!"

    My review to come forthwith.

(I may not be around for tomorrow, so I'm posting it mega-early, just in case. Curse the library hours.)

Edit: Revised the synopsis. Which do you like better: the old one or the new one?

I don't know, I didn't see the old one XD Oh, I'm first today. It was a really good episode, I loved seeing Barry again, him with Team Rocket is just so funny, and Riley is really cool. I like that it ends kind of cliffhanger-ish, I think they should do that more often and have more story-arcs (which DP does have more of than any other region, I think)

    - Barry is so cool ~
    - Yuck, it's TPCI's horrible music from Battle Frontier
    - Ash running on the spot XD
    - Diglett's voice actually isn't that bad
    - But TPCI music is horrible D:
    - Riley's voice is good ~
    - I forgot Barry ran into Team Rocket XD
    - Ash sounds really upset when he says he can't find Barry XD
    - Heracross copies Barry's pose XD
    - Mars sounds like Dawn o.O
    - Why doesn't Staraptor fly them out of the pit fall?

    Music kept: (8)

    Team Rocket's Sneaking Theme
    Ash trying to stop Lairon
    After the silent part
    Lucario uses Close Combat
    Barry jumping with Heracross
    Team Rocket Sinnoh Motto
Mars leaves them down the pit fall
    The stones start glowing

I thought the same thing. Barry just makes Staraptor rest rather than simply fly 'em out ?_? But yeah, more Barry is always win. :D

Perfuglymugly hitting Aron left and right was not cool. 8( Steelix sending them flying was pretty funny though. XD Surprise attack? How about no!

And wow, this just gets deeper and deeper, laser beams to Mt. C? Oh snap. D: Really liked the whole idea of it though, a iron monument in the island? Who knew.

Can't wait for the next one.

    I liked this Episode.
Jun was awesome as always. I liked his Herracross.
Was I the only one annoyed at the fact that Ash blatantly kept putting himself in danger trying to stop those Pokemon... I wanted that Lairon to Take Down the hell out of him or Steelix's Hyper Beam not to miss (You got lucky Ashy boy Thank Mew for Riley) >.>;; and I kept thinking to myself Keep it up Ash! One day you Power's of Pokemon Friendship aren't gonna work and you're gonna wind up getting yourself killed.
Riley was cool... Did Sean Schemell(sp) voice him?... I swore I heard some Goku in his voice... but that might just be me.
Purugly you suck.. I wanted Meowth to claw its face off. Aron looked so cute!
Also... why the heck was Rattata on Iron Island It looked so out of place XD

completely agree with all that, ash got killed because his love of pokemon in movie 1, seriously ash, throwing yourself in between a massive energy beam from mewtwo and mew, not a great idea. digletts were cool, and i genuinely thought that the life size statues of dialga and palkia were going to come alive, shame.

XD Yeah.. I thought the statues were gonna come alive too.

I honestly thought that was what the beam was for, to reanimate some statues that had the same abilities as the true Dialga and Palkia, but not as strong... or something
    Tis a shame.

Yeah, sometimes he is too selfless. Okay kid, we get it, you LOVE Pokemon but getting yourself killed/putting yourself in immediate danger is not the way to show it!

I heard the other way lf showing you love your Pokémon is illegal.

Anyway, I'll have to watch the re-run tomorrow morning but does anyone know who voiced Riley?

Pretty Good Episode in my opinion. The appearance of my many favorite characters.

-Barry is awesome, no doubt about it.
-Ash putting his life in danger how many times in this episode?
-Barry interrupting Team Rocket's motto once again.
    -Riley makes an unexpected appearance
-YES! MARS MAKES AN APPEARANCE! Her Purugly is badass, isn't it? XD
    -Oblivious to Staraptor. >.>
-That Beam to Mount Coronet. D:
    -Cliffhanger ending. >:

Loved this episode. Team Rocket helping Barry was a cute gesture.
Purugly proved to be superior to Meowth when it comes to Fury Swipes
Love every episode Team Galactic related.

but does anyone know who voiced Riley?

    I'm curious to know that myself, since his voice sounded familiar somehow. It could be one of their typical VA's, though. xD;

As for the episode, it had Riley, and it had Lucario. Therefore I automatically loved it. I kept meaning to watch it in Japanese, but never quite did it, so I was pleasantly surprised that the dub had gotten to it already. I was expecting a pointless filler episode when I turned my TV on, since Ash has recently gotten a badge, and such. I also found Ash's actions pretty stupid.. I mean, really? Throwing yourself in the path of an enraged Pokemon, and then just standing there, asking it to stop. D: You tried that in the first movie, buddy. It didn't work.

    I loved this one.

Barry was great. Barry plus Team Rocket was even better.
Riley and Lucario were pretty good.
Ash was kind of stupid. :(
Purugly batting away crazy Aron with its tail was funny as hell. Idk why it was so funny to me. Just the way the Aron were running up there all excited and then getting pummeled away, heh.

    Good episode, nice cliffhanger, 4/5

Yeah, and Pikachu saved him once :3 Go Pikachu! Tell Ash not to be stupid! >.>

It was a very good and interesting episode for a change. Now that I saw it on Sunday, it's gonna be so hard to wait a whole week for part two!

Sunday re-runs are really hard to wake up to.

→ Empoleon attacks Jun and is somehow managed inside of its Poké Ball.

→ Chansey looks so awkward when its mopping. Am I the only one who thinks that?

→ Sato' always looks out for an adventure. Now all he needs an adventure beard since all adventurers have an adventure beard, right Flapjack?

    →Okay, enough dumb images.←

→ Natochenney always sounds funny to me when she pronouces Pokémon "Pok-uh-mon".

→ Gen is played by Marc Diraison supposedly. You know? When 4Kids dubbed One Piece and he voiced Zolo? Yup.

I couldn't agree more, seriously. ._.; That was just awkward.

Yeah, I also got frustrated with Ash continually throwing himself in front of rampaging Pokemon begging them to stop. You'd think he would take a hint after his first attempt ended in an epic fail. And I loved Riley and Lucario's entrance, with Riley saving Ash and then Lucario beating the tar out of that Aggron. Can't wait for part 2!

I've noticed that Barry also pronounces it "Po-kuh-mon". It sounds really odd to me when I hear it in the anime, even though I pronounce it that way myself. It's kind of odd that they would allow different pronunciations of the actual series, really.

Wait, you pronouce it "Pok-uh-mon"? With a British accent? Epic.

Anyway, I figure that PUSA thinks that it might be realistic since people don't pronouce all words in a single definitive way. Realism in Pokémon. Yeah.

Thanks, I think XD Yeah, I think most people here pronounce it "Pok-uh-mon", I remember my friends used to and they always do on TV. I find "Po-kay-mon" quite awkward and have to put a lot of effort into saying haha it just ends up not sounding right. I find the Japanese way "Po-keh-mon" easier than "kay". But "kuh" is easiest for me XD So I suppose it's the accent. But I pronounce "evolution" the American way because of Pokemon XD

Yeah, it might be that, but it might just be the voice actors preferred way of saying it because I can't really see them telling the voice actors to deliberately pronounce it different ways. But then, I'm not a voice director, so who knows. I remember Dogasu saying something about the way they all pronounced Pachirisu differently when it first appeared. Yeah, here https://dogasu.bulbagarden.net/comparisons/diamond_pearl/ep019.html

I think I remember him saying about certain voice actors always pronouncing "Pokemon" differently from "Poke-kay-mon" somewhere before, too.
