    Post any strange Pokémon facts you know or found on the Interwebs. Here's one:

    The only other possible starter triangles other than Grass/Fire/Water are Psychic/Dark/Fighting, Fire/Rock/Steel, Grass/Poison/Ground and Rock/Fighting/Flying.

    Couple of points...


    Psychic/Dark/Fighting doesn't work as Dark is actually immune to Psychic.

    However, you also missed one:

    Grass/Ground/Fire
     
    I really don't see the point of this thread, but as long as it's fun, I'm fine with it!

    Did you know Machoke has five toes whereas Machamp has only two?
     
    How about the fact that we know there's more then one Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres, but they can't breed, and don't even have a gender?

    Asexual birds? Craziness.
     
    I find it weird that when Pokémon die, they actually become real ghosts and not just Ghost Pokémon.

    *Zapdos used Mitosis!* :laugh:

    Nincada is the only pokemon that basically splits into two pokemon when it evolves.
     
    electric/water/rock? doesnt that work??? haa. ghost pokemon can die, and become ghosts!

    Ground doesn't resist Fire, it just takes neutral damage. I actually didn't realize this myself until my Torterra ate a Flame Wheel from Barry's Infernape and my game displayed it as "super Effective" XD

    Electric isn't weak to Rock, nor is Rock resistant to electric. XD

    On the topic of ghosts though, I never thought of ghost-types as reanimated dead beings, more like spiritual beings with the ability to phase out of timespace. I actually wouldn't be surprised to learn if the type's Japanese name translates closer to "spirit" than "ghost". :P

    Slowpoke isn't the slowest pokemon, shuckle is
    Starmie is technically invulnerable unless you take out his jewel
    Wailord is the biggest pokemon but not legendary
    Lotad doesn't appear Mexican but lombre and ludicolo look Mexican (no derr lol)

    @Sin1488 yes it is due to their different gender ratios

    In RBY Likitung could not learn Lick

    Nidorina & Nidoqueen cannot breed but Nidoran F can
     
    Magneton is made by three Magnemite, yet weighs 10 times more. Magnemite weighs 13.2 pounds, but Magneton weighs 132 pounds. Hell yeah!
