Stuck in a hard place... what should i do?

*sighs* I dunno, dudes. I have a feeling the real reason peeps hung out there was cus of their friends.. ;___; If they leave, their buds'll follow em.

hey!someone leaves-other peep leaves due to this-a peep leaves due to this in this way we will be nothing! pc is boring cause the sudden members that we love so much leave!

tatt-cartoon-solar-junichi-dakota-dizzy(sorry if i'm forgetting someone) are good people,but due to the leaves,most leaved too! this chain will keep growing if we don't do anything. if ya don't want to copperate, i will try to get back members here! i pmed dizzy,saying him i've also had appendicitis,that's not bad,that don't leave pc! i will pm or contact these to tell them that don't leave pc. i do not have much influence,but i will do my best to bring them back.i hope you're with me.
 
I honestly feel insulted that some of the people that are posting here are very new members. I joined PC back in Feb 03!! I actually remember meeting Arcanine, we joined at the same time. I also remember SA and some of the other old members like Dragonite_Queen and Sugargirl fo course they've come back under different alias's, but, I remeber their old screennames. I do think PC is going down hill, but its building up speed for going back UP! Just like a roller coaster does! These n00bs will one day run the show. All the old members will have left if they have little faith. Just like when I started posting again, i didn't know hardly anyone! All my friends were gone, replaced by newbies. Guess who those newbies are? The one that hold popular spots in our community! I adjusted of course, made new friends, which is exactly what we all need to do now. The newbies need to feel accepted, then they wont' need to do publicity stunts and what-not. They will be given a choice: Fit in with us and learn the rules, or spam and be banned! We shall make this a community for ALL but we don't need to take crap that will pollute this place. PC longs for some admins that will make the newbies not spam! Imposing figures. I don't want this place to be Serebii, but their boards are looking a lot funner right now!

I saw a lot of people posting a lot in this thread, but I never thought I'd post this much @_@

As a final thought, I DON'T WANT TO SOUND MEAN! But there are some changes that should be taking place......spam is popping up where it shouldn't.....

EDIT: I can't remember if it was Feb 02/03......It was PC's first Febuary though.......

That's is really thoughtful of you, and it doesn't matter how much influence you have to tell that. Keep up the helpful atttitude, and you are a really good person in my book.
 
thanks. i don't want to see the best place falling a few months after i joined. i don't want to lose all the people loved by everyone. all that i want is pc to grow and rise with all those people that made pc how is now,so i will start giving confidence to everyone-and thanks again, nick.
 
I also feel that PC isn't as great as it used to be. We are losing some great members that we couldn't live without, and it is because of changes. I have even noticed that I rarely ever post in DCC anymore, because it and the rest of Other Chat has been full spammy posts, and there has been an explosion of new members, some who can be very immature and spammy. I really miss how PC used to be. It used to be so much fun to come on and post, but now that feeling is leaving. I just hope that PC gets better.
 
Oh, I'm sorry to hear about the member thing....It must annoying.
I hope you'll find a better fourm with different people....
And, I, too am a little annoyed with some members, flaming themsleves, wrongdoings.

uh... i didnt leave. but yah. it was alot more fun when i first joined.for some reason it lacks some charm it had when i joined,
 
Oh, and who can forget the dare thread...


I swear, that thread is gonna be PCs downfall. It's a n00bs paradise, with the retarted girly-girl dares. When it started, they had a little creativity, with stuff like "I luv ed!! He rocks my socks!!" dared to be put in peoples siggy. But now, nobody makes up unique dares. They just have this list of choice:


A) Girly-girl dare a member

B) Put a picture of barney in their sig

C) Boyi-boy dare a member (Not as often as the other two dares)


Seriously, That's the only dares they use now!! That, my friends, is one cause to PCs desterioraiting. I may have only joined in june, but I can tell the dare thread has destroyed PCs reputaition. Mods, feel free to delete this post if it seems like spam. Thank you.
 
I thought that we went over this already... Just so that I'm not repeating myself, Kayleigh and a1337a for the 5th time in the last week, I'll rephrase the whole paragraph into this condensed version:

PC grows through new members joining the forum... it's just a necessary phrase for all forums that are growing. Without these new members, PC will never grow, never change and never improve at the same time.

I'm quite sure that when you just joined, somebody is muttering something like this too... I'm rather annoyed about this "oh PC isn't the same anymore" junk... 5th time within one week already, and everytime someone mentions "there are noob members now." So are we saying that new members ought to stay out of PC because they're unneeded? That is and shall not be the case. When a new member joins PC, we should be welcoming them instead of discouraging them from posting... When you "veterans" joined back then, you felt that PC is very welcoming, because those members back then welcomed you with open arms. Why can't you do the same for the new members now?

If this is the altitute of members in PC back when you first joined, will you regard PC in the same light? Most likely not... PC changed for the worst, but not because of new members, but because of members' excessive whining at anything...

As many of you know, PC has been crumbling recently. People leaving. Dakota, then Junichi, Cosmo, Imakuni?, Dizzy, almost Starlight Umbreon to top it off. All of whom were well known PC members. I actually dislike a few people around here, and one particular member is quite disturbing. Things don't feel right here anymore. Now i feel like it's almost a chore to post here. Which is really sad for me, cause to see PC die like this is horrible. I don't have anywere else to go to hang out with fellow Pokemon fans in a large community, apart from Serebii, and you know how i feel about that place. Anyway, PC can never be replaced by any other forum.

Don't get me wrong, i know it's the Holidays which means less people online ect, we're going through a bad patch and PC may be better in a while, but it's just hard to belive at the moment. The occasional thread may catch my eye, but hardly anythings interesting anymore.

Right now i don't know what to do... PC is kinda depressing at the moment, there's a bad atmosphere around and i'm already pretty upset IRL, i'm having a bad time, personal problems, my health, education ect ect.

I have lost quite a few of my original PC friends here, and i can't help feel that people tend to ignore me more these days. If i ask a question in a post for example people don't always reply. I feel as if nobody really notices me much. Some people seem to dislike it that i pretty obviously show that i am a HP fan, and HP dislikers have to comment on it. I feel pretty lonely here at the moment....

I by no means want to leave PC. I just don't know what to do. One of the reasons i've been less active is because there's not much going on here anymore ect. So i don't tend to post so much. That's also one of the reasons i posted this, just to tell people. I think i've appeared quite argumentative recently, and i'm more fiery. Just to let you know i don't want anyone to take it personally if i have. My lifes been pretty horrible these last few months. I don't have any friends IRL. I get picked on, and my Mom and i have been falling out alot recently. I've had arguements on the web and fallen out with people. I just feel really upset inside about it and i end up taking it out on somebody i dissagree with ect. So sorry if i have been acting not like the normal Tatt recently.

I don't know whether i'll post much at all anymore. But i'm not leaving PC so please don't jump to that thought, i'll stay here whether it's dead or not. PC still has hope in getting back stable again. Well, if you've read this whole long post than i thankyou for it. I know i probaly sound idiotic. And whoever is angry with all the people who have been setting up these types of threads in the last 2 days, well, i am by no means trying to get attention for no reason. I just wanted to get this off my chest. So please don't flame me.

It sounds kinda like what I went through... :classic: I'm not really a great speaker..and I have only a few good freinds well...only one freind here on earth but as of the attention thingy...It's like me...I always chat to someone from PC and yet they never know me..*I hav'nt posted much* :laugh:
But see,Erm The noobs or "newbies" just need a little help and alot of members are in tough times..so I will just try and give a little encouragement :classic: Always,Always remember if no one loves you that Jesus loves you

And about with health problems might i suggest that you just take 15 minutes to just go outside and clear your mind take a few deep breaths and then accept what your problems are the you can try and change them but God is the only one that truely can
 
PC isn't the same at all >.> Infact I wish it was ;; The old PC seemed to be Happy-Go-Lucky. Ive been here longer then most of the people whove replied sept Dizzy *scrolls up and looks for morE* Frostweaver, LM, Nick and a few others. And if you thought "your" old PC was better you should have saw PC a year ago.
 
I believe your message was pointed at me Frosty.....and as I told some people on MSN, I felt bad for posting that way, because I knew someone was going to feel like you do.....

I WELCOME new members! I just think we should make the rules a little stricter if everyone is complaining about the newbies flaming and spamming. Again: I WELCOME any new member! I just ask that they follow the rules....and if they don't, that proper actions be taken to make sure PC isn't a haven for spam and flaming. That's all I mean....
 
PC is getting more boring by the day..I have no source of entertainment anymore but at Fun Time in Pokeland... Meh.. X_x I'm even losing intrest in the stuff there...
 
I dunno.. There's a bunch of spamming due to most newbies. o.O; Or maybe this happens? I mean, probably the veteran members will leave, and newbies will take their place? I mean, a forum can't have its active members forever. Newbies will take the veteran's places. Hmm, I wonder who'll take mine? j/k -__-;;

now that u guys all say it... i guess i can say too....

when i joined PC it was the greatest place online i ever found. i had to be joining into the PC first get2gether.... and that was where i met 99% of my bestest friends. Miyu-chan, G-Lance and FireMaster even tho they came some later. .....that was like that when Kayleigh came up. then something happened at PC that pulled us apart. Miyu went off somewhere and now rarely comes online... i never see Kay around at all... and G-Lance and FMaster have left. Dark Heaven.. my best friend at PC is still here.... but Starlight is leaving. i know whats missing from PC now....
the amount of friends. there is no REAL way of making some good friends. why are there the friends lists in everyones sigs then? only because its a newbie thing that they wanna make grow large. it has no real use. only way is to make friends now is.... in no way that doesnt involve newbies and stuff...
PC is the only reason i come online almost every day. its gonna be very hard for me to see either me die away from it .... or it dying away out of its funny.......

am i still considered a n00b?:( and also, i read stuff here about 3 months before I joined, and yeah, PKC has really changed, even since january... just know I feel bad for you, and yeah, even when i actually joined, a week later my "say hello" post was buried under all the n00bs....
