Stupid pokemon

ITT: Discuss actually stupid Pokemon.
What Pokemon do you think is the dopiest?

Stunfisk and Slowpoke are tied for being the dopiest, IMO. Same goes for Trubbish.

Actually no; the other thread labeled "stupid pokemon" asks what pokemon that shouldn't be created.

This thread is actually asking what pokemon are actually physically stupid.

So its fine. ^___^

Anyways..I personally think slowpoke is.

None of those are dumb, but, I know an angry mob will murder me for this, but Lugia I think is stupid.

Reasons:

- Fat fat fat, it is full of fat.
- It has 5 weaknesses, Ho-Oh only has 3, and Ho-Oh can learn the following: Punishment, Shadow Ball, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Charge Beam, Ancientpower, and Ominous wind, Ho-Oh can nail all its weaknesses besides ice, while Lugia can get Ho-Oh's weak pints, Lugia has a more narrow movepool.
- If you really put Ho-Oh and Lugia on a page your eyes might flit straight to Ho-Oh, Ho-Oh has really better colors, while Lugia does not.
- Heartgold exclusives PWN Soulsilver exclusives.

The "stupid" the OP is talking about is not the "I-don't-like-it" stupid. We're talking about pokemon that look/are literally dumb, in a sense of low IQ and stuff... you know where I'm going? Plus Lugia is a fairly intelligent pokemon.

To answer the OP's question, I think Slowpoke, Slakoth, and Stunfisk can fit in the answer. BTW They all start with S :laugh:

I think Lugia looks stupid in the sense that it's a BIRD. They made a dragon with wings that seem to be developing into hands, and then call it a bird.

It's not intellectually stupid though ;) In general 98 percent of psychic types are considered smart. (The closest (half or full) psychic pokemon to being stupid I think would be slowbro)

Slowbro's not stupid. It's incredibly intelligent, just no quick-witted.

If you ask me, Bidoof must be fairly dumb. "Simple" and "Unaware" are its' abilities, both not exactly implying intelligence. Then again, it can use quite a lot of attacks...

Overall, I kinda disagree with this thread, and your highlighting certain pokémon as stupid, ignoring others.

Look at the list the OP gave as a start. Weepinbell is up there despite being considered an accomplished predator in the Pokemon universe, and it's only up there because of how it looks. The question is "which is the dopiest?" which includes looks apparently. ;)

Even though I like Slowpoke, I consider him to be the most dopiest. It IS called the Dopey Pokémon.

But then again, it's a psychic type, and I consider them to be smart...
