Stupid reputation question

Ok I was posting and then saw some member have 1 block of balc reputation,may I know what that means and also cansome one picture to me the blocks like what is it good or bad or such..please and thankyou

Black block simply means they turned their rep off

As for your other question, could you make it a little clearer?

I think it's one of two possibilities.

1). As Blitz said, it may mean that their rep is neither good nor bad.
2). It might mean that they have reputation turned off, as I believe there is a function to toggle reputation on and off.

I'm not sure about either of these, since I'm new here, but those are my guesses.

I was just checking that out. You go to User CP, go to user options, and uncheck the box that says "Show my reputation level". This makes your rep appear as a black box.

as for your other question...These are the colors representing rep...
low reps show a total of 5 bars, high reps shows a total of 6 bars along with the 5 from low rep...also note that it's possible to go higher than the six bars in rep (hence the many different captions different same #ed bar rep they have)
Green: Low reputation (Good)
Yellow: High reputation (Good)
Black: Turned off
Red: Low reputation (Bad)
Orange: High Reputation (Bad)

for example, you have 5 green bars and 2 yellow, so you would probably be considered high rep, while 6 yellow bars would probably make you really high rep, though lotsa people have 6 yellow bars these days XD

Gray rep is when the sender's rep is too low to have any effect on your rep...in other words, its a null rep so you neither gain or lose any rep from the gray usually with 1 green bar and lower people from what i've seen

The amount of rep the sender has...higher the rep, higher the impact

I think if you lower the rep by a warning and giving bad reputation it lowers my one green bar or yellow bar or turns red,I think :( ^^

I once asked this question...
I got answer and it was that you get 1/30 of the total amount of the person who gave it to you.

Also, you should have checked the FAQ on the NavBar. In there it tells about the rep block colors (as well as tons of other questions you might have).
