    I'm pretty sure this idea will anger some people, but I'll post it anyway.

    Lately, I'm starting to see MCG (Mixed Community Groups) full of nothing but pure spam. To be more specific, Member Fanclubs. 3/4 of what goes on in there could easily be done elsewhere, such as MSN, or via PM. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm talking about disabling post count there. Why? All it takes is 2 people in there, and their postcounts hit the roof. Please comment. If you disagree, please give reasons why you disagree. Thank you for your time.

    Why should the post counts be disabled?I mean if a member wants to join a club and never show up again cause all they wanted was a post then that's on them.It would help if we had a mod there.Being as it is one of our biggest forums, if not the biggest.

    I agree,

    Hey I came up with the trend (Orginal Abby Club and Andy Club)

    I never thought it would be twisted into this, I offered to help mod the place since I based those types of clubs on my orginals but I guess they think this is a better way xD

    Remember, Claire still looks there. -.-;

    I'm personally for post counts being off in all club forums, as they rarely, if ever, stay on topic or non-spamish.

    And without a dedicated mod, there's nothing stopping it. Bleh.

    I agree with you, Ty. Even though that's where I get all of my posts from, I agree that it is spam...fun spam, but still spam.

    I agree with JKaizer sorta =o.I think it needs a mod, one without a forum cause mcg is big and it needs total dedication.I don't really care about the posts though, but i don't think the should be turned off.

    Then that means we'd have to get another new mod, and I thought we were trying to cut back on them?

    Hey we have no idea what's going on beyond our view.I think a new one should be talked about most definately.You all agree mcg is quite possible in the top 5 of the most active forums right?

    Even with a mod, it's still pretty spammy. Even Claire herself does it sometimes...

    I agree with you DP, i am reporting bad clubs and stuff all the time in there.Maybe even two mods.Claire also has a different time schedual then us also, and school.

    All Clubs,

    Usually get spammed, no one has the time or effort to go throught every page and edit or delete every spam post.

    It was nice to seperate the clubs (Thanks to Claire ^___^) but now we need to have dedicated staff to watch over all of the clubs there.

    Cutting down on Mod's,

    Heaven sakes no, who ever thought of that is clearly mistaken. It might look like a ton of Mod's but look at the size of the forum.

    If the U.S.A got any bigger they would add more people to congress or something to enlarge the govt. it is simply a necessity.

    Well MCG is mostly active not beacause of MCG itself, but of the Sub-Forum "Member's Fanclubs" so you really shouldn't concentrate on all the forum. As for a new moderator. Claire does look after that forum. And if not it could be extended to a current moderator, if the shortness of modding is still in the air. I mean if the admins ahve decided not to mod anyone else for a time, they might decide to just extend a current mod there.

    One of the best things i have heard Blaze.I tried reporting a thread yesterday, but there was no staff in site literally.I think one mod was on.We could also use more s-mods maybe, being as dakota is getting less active as Kayleigh.This is not a Flame.lol.

    The thought is nice, but there will never be someone to go through ALL of the clubs. And putting a new mod there, would be no different then placing a current mod there (I mean, they all post the same amount), so it would be easier to leave it as it is, or put someone new there. That way we don't have to hire someone new.

    I thought they said they didn't think we needed any more mods, not that they're not going to hire any more? O_o;

    I disagree. ^^;; This is basically the same issue about post count being disabled in New Users/Welcome, except its not a matter of welcoming people, its a matter of making people feel special. And as a lot of people say, they dont care about post count. Turning off post count in clubs wont stop the spamming either. ^^;; In member fanclubs people are usually caught talking about the things they like~ Its not really a crime. And about what JKaizer said about all clubs post counts being disabled, I agree even more~ Although, a mod would be good there. It could solve some problems.

    Well,

    The staff is clearly not a suffient size, and just extending it isn't going to help Alex.

    That forum needs more concentration, and not just more work for already busy Moderator.

    I wonder why mods have a hard time accepting new mod suggesting?they were for it when they were members.
    Anyways, not because i wanna mod it, but because we do need a new one there.MCG has evovled into this huge posting forum, and i don't think a current mod with other forums can handle it and hadle their forum at the same time.

    For a while, no. We don't really need any mods, another mod could just be given to the area if needed, we've had more then enough lately

    we currently have 5 mods on to manage 116 people that are on.It's just not gonna work.I think this is what overwhelmed Kairi, and she was an awesome admin.
