Actually, to bring balance to the force is to have equal numbers of Jedi and Sith, I thought XD By the time of episode IV, there was Yoda and Obi-Wan vs. Sidious and Vader, so it was 2 on 2 XP~ It did get unbalanced at the end of Episode VI, though, since Luke was the only one left, so maybe there'll be another prophecy once there are more people with the force again XD

I don't think so. On Ep 1 Qui-Gon took Anakin to the Jedi Counsel saying he will bring balance to the force. I don't think they were all thinking "OMG HE IS THE ONE THAT'S GOING TO KILL US ALL!". XD
And on Ep 3 Obi-wan said "Your where the Chosen One! You were suppose to defeat the Dark Side. Not join it!".

Yes, but wasn't Anakin not alowed something at the end of Episode 1? I'm thinking there was something but I'm not for sure.

Plus, would you count Qui-Gon as a jedi in Episode 4? I know he was long dead by that time but he did come back as help for Obi-Won for training.

Do you mean the Counsel not wanting training for him then? Because Yoda and the others said he was too old to start training. But Obi-wan said "I will train Anakin. Without the approvel of the Counsel if I must.".
And you can't count Qui-Gon, he is a dead guy, he can't do anything.

I think they misinterpreted the prophecy to think that it was going to benefit them =p

I don't think so. I mean on Ep 6 he did kill the Emperor. And the Emperor was the last Sith out there. So going by the Jedi he did bring balence to the Force.

The problem with that is that by going back to the light side after killing Sidious, Anakin eliminated the dark side of the force for the time being and imbalanced the force again o_O

But that's the thing. The Jedi's think balence of the Force is 100% Light Side. XD

Yeah... sure it will Acry... as long as the people that are talking about it find something better to talk about, I see no hope for us. XD
 
We need to get non-Star Wars fans in here so the convo about Jedi's or watever will die. XD
