I hope we do more Shakespeare in AP English 12 this year...the kids end up hating it, and it gets ruined because the teachers make the kids read it in class (when they can't pronounce half of the words and read like robots), but it's still better than most of the drivel we read in english.
What's really fun is when you get fluent at reading old english, and then you read it and everybody's like '?' it's hilarious.

Hey, it's slowing down.

The one RnJ movie I saw was modernized... Except for the language. It was sickening.

I wonder, is this a new record for how long we've stayed on a real topic?

Tch. Ya lucky bum... we read it in romanian durin' litterature class an' didn't study it at all in english class... eh, it's probably for tha best, since most o' my collegues can barely speak english properly let alone pronnounce those words accurately. ^^;;

I loved that movie so much I watched over in French, then in English with Spanish subtitles so it would seem more like Portuguese. I could never get enough of that movie.

Yeah, people can't seem to understand it at all. Our shakespeare stories are actually annotated so we can reference phrases that are foreign to us, when we should be forced to figure it out on our own. He's the master of metaphors and flowery phrasing. I'd be happy if I knew half of the words in our language that Shakespeare did...

People sucked at acting this year in my English class. I was the only who put any emotion into the play.
Lol, ya guys ACTED?! Lol, that'd be a real disaster in my class, since most o' my classmates suck at it. Meh, I think I'm pretty good at actin' but I'd never be able ta memorize lines so... ^^;;
Tch. Never was any good at learnin' stuff by heart.

What did you do? Play, I mean.

I know, if you're not doing it professionally it's not worth it. It's annoying.

At least they're not all like that.

The last play I acted in(HG/HF) was awesome. We had this little girl in it, and she got this scene where her character was supposed to cry, and she broke every heart that heard her; we're all like 'whoa'. Even the most conceited person there woulda given her the award for 'best actor' if they offered one for the play.

Meh. I don't like plays. Don't get me wrong, full respect ta tha way good actors do it, but a stage is just too... quiet for me ta get inta the atmosphere -- it's just quiet an' dark an' doesn't make a reallistic atmosphere, plus with all those ppl in tha room spoilin' it it's annoyin'. >_<
Meh. I'd rather watch a movie on HBO. ^^;;

Yah, it's a lot easier on the head. Unless you've got surround sound or something. XP

There wouldn't be any subtle hinting as to topic here, now would there?

Besides it being a motto, of courssse. It's actually my friend Bridget's motto before mine but then again no its not lol.

I like acting sometimes. I hate doing sad scenes, though. I laugh.
I kinda have the same problem, except with death scenes and sad scenes. I just find something strangely weird about it all and then I laugh... XP
