I'll try my best to do that, Ivan, but the people I've got on my invite list are a bit...dubious in regard to Gundam fandom.

Who isn't lately? With the way Destiny's been going and too many people comparing it to Zeta most people think Gundam sucks lately.

At first glance I thought "sucks to be you" when you have school in mid-August but then again in Australia, August is equivalent to February.

Until now, I had no fricking idea that one was not supposed to solicit forum links via PM. I PMed an admin, a praetor, and four mods. They now know my misdoing. I just stepped in a HUGE pile of...you know.

I am so dead right now, man.
 
Ehh...it's not that bad. The fact that you actually picked the members and didn't just randomly send PMs helps.
 
On a related note, I'm perhaps one of the few people here on PC that can cuss in German (even though my German lexicon of profanity is limited to one word and one word only).

yeah, Destiny is absolutely horrible. Compared to SEED, it is a complete waste of time. Destiny and Zeta (or any other Gundam series except G and SD) should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
 
Does "kisama" actually mean anything? Just curious. I've got a nagging suspicion that it's not native to the Japanese language and was merely invented by ignorant Americans...
 
o.O What does "kisama" mean anyway? They don't exactly teach me how to swear when I take Japanese classes.

I'm gonna hope you either don't know much about Gundam's background or are being sarcastic.

Destiny is miles above what SEED could have ever been. In the first four episodes alone of Destiny we saw more action than the first 13 of SEED which as much as I hate to say it, was just a rip off of that arc from 0079. Destiny at least builds up it's characters better. Not one of Fukada's fans really and I'm not the biggest fan of bringing people back from the dead like he did with Mwu, but the fanboy in me liked it. At the rate things are going, Destiny won't have an ending as open ended as SEED did, which is always a plus and probably the only reason we even have Destiny. If I had to rank Destiny with the other shows...I'd say it's probably the 5th best right now.

As for G, what was so bad about it? Gundam was meant to be a more serious show, yeah we all know that, but G did something fun and gave us the super robo style Gundam that people liked at the time.

I know I rant...a lot. XD

EDIT-

A lot of subs state Kisama as "bastard" but it can be used for anything really. It's meant to be a word that shows a dislike in someone with no real meaning other than it being rude.

Believe it or not I did it too.

Just a little comment:
At least there's nothing in the Sig Rules that says you can't advertise forums-and there's no limit to the links you can put (while on Serebii you can only put 3 links).

Well, judging from what I've heard of the Serebii forums, it's basically an anarchic mess ruled by an increasingly fascist administration. Most definitely not the kind of place I'd like to join.
