Well, judging from what I've heard of the Serebii forums, it's basically an anarchic mess ruled by an increasingly fascist administration. Most definitely not the kind of place I'd like to join.
People breaking the rules all the time, a lot of mods breaking the rules...a lot of mods breaking th swear rules and using them on members. A huge a mess, a while it was a LOT worse, and just lately they've started to get better.

And nothing beats a paranoid webmaster who searchs the words "Serebii" "SPPf" and different versions of it on different forums.

I'm gonna hope you either don't know much about Gundam's background or are being sarcastic.

Destiny is miles above what SEED could have ever been. In the first four episodes alone of Destiny we saw more action than the first 13 of SEED which as much as I to say it, was just a rip off of that arc from 0079. Destiny at least builds up it's characters better. Not one of Fukada's fans really and I'm not the biggest fan of bringing people back from the like he did with Mwu, but the fanboy in me liked it. At the rate things are going, Destiny won't have an ending as open ended as SEED did, which is always a plus and probably the only reason we even have Destiny. If I had to rank Destiny with the other shows...I'd say it's probably the 5th best right now.

As for G, what was so bad about it? Gundam was meant to be a more serious show, yeah we all know that, but G did something fun and gave us the super robo style Gundam that people liked at the time.

I know I rant...a lot. XD

EDIT-

A lot of subs state Kisama as " " but it can be used for anything really. It's meant to be a word that shows a dislike in someone with no real meaning other than it being rude.

actually, i have seen almost every gundam show, and no matter what you say, i like SEED the best. I know that it is basically a of the origional Gundam, especially in the beginning (epsiode 6 of SEED being almost exactly the same as Escape from Luna II from Gundam, for example) with the same initial comflict and all, but it really had great characters and made them seem like normal people.

Destiny failed at that. In SEED, it was a struggle for Kira to take down a single mobile suit (in the beginning). Remember hwo he struggled against 4 BuCues? In destiny, shinn destroys 4 mobile suits in 2 seconds in the Impulse, which is stupid and makes it seem like he is a god and every other non-gundam is just cannon fodder. and the minerva and its crew is a complete of seed, except with more annoying characters. the plot is stupid, and has no definite good and bad side, and is just a jumble of random battles.

G Gundam was retarded and completely destroyed the war-like feeling gundam had began to build up. Meh, its just my opinion, all of this.

My God a smart poster dealing on the subject of anime...I haven't seen one of those here in forever...

Destiny itself wasn't supposed to be as much of a copy or homage to Zeta as 0079 was. And like it or not, Destiny has gotten the highest ratings from any Gundam TV show since Zeta Gundam, which leads many to think there's going to be a third SEED series. I don't like Shin at all, and yeah the points in his fighting are very weak. He's given some superstar treatment and seems above the law, which is made more obvious after he takes down Kira. Though, the GOUF actually had a pretty good shot, it had some skill that matched that of a Gundam, but in the end, a Gundam is supposed to be stronger than any other MS. And Minerva crew is basically any crew, it has all the rankings and all the same styles that AA had. It's what AA should was supposed to be.

And that's the thing that makes Destiny (and most Gundam anime) good, there isn't a clear right or wrong. A lot of times Kira is wrong and right, and Dullindal can make the most twisted things sound right. I find that the best villians aren't the ones that aren't plain cut evil, but the ones that actually believe what they're doing is right. And in Destiny all three sides are a little bit of it.

G Gundam wasn't supposed to be serious, at that point in time the UC shows had ran dry. They had already done V which was as far into the future as they could push it with UC really. Some people think that G was Tomino's way or trying to destroy Gundam because at the time he wasn't allowed to work on anything but Gundam. As a super robot show, G Gundam was good, as a serious show, it wasn't that great.

Weee,Hi everybody what's going on.XD

Debating about Gundam, it seems.

I've only watched Gundam SEED so far. The first couple episodes in that series were pretty boring. I thought the end was pretty good. I can't compare it to any other Gundam series out there though.

I don't watch that it isn't on over here as far as i know.XD

yeah, i know its cool to not have clear right and wrong, but i have always liked just a plain old war, with two side, not a bunch of sides running around blindly. Its also partly because i have always liked the EA alot, and when they turn them evil, its hard for me to accept. SEED was my favorite, just in front of Stardust Memory (which was freking awesome, despite what some people said), even though SEED showed a severe lack of creativity (the Archangel being just like the White Base, Gundam and Strike looking almost identical and being piloted by civilians, the ship with Gundam being chased by guy with mask [char and rau] and it goes on and on), but for some odd reason, it found a place in my heart. don't know why, but it just did (especially the beginning when Kira was with the EA). so with that its really hard for me to like Destiny. plus, i never did like Amuro Ray, he was annoying.

And yeah i know G Gundam wasn't supposed to be serious but i still d it, along with SD Gundam.

Finally i found someone else who has seen a lot of Gundam shows, been nice from the typical person who has seen Wing and Seed or Wing and G or something. Meh, i'm off to bed, night guys.

Chris, there is absolutely no way you can compare G Gundam with SD. SD is horrible and G isn't.
yeah, maybe that was a little extreme, but when you have seen almost all the gundam shows, G Gundam is horrible.

i never was into cartoons, i like pokemon and the classics like tom and jerry

In Zeta Gundam the Earth Union was more or less turned evil when TITAN showed up. The thing with Destiny is that it's not really supposed to be a war, at the start of the show most were under the idea that the war from SEED was over. So it's really disjointed for a long while until Dullindal screws over Blue Cosmos.

As for SD Gundam, which do you mean? The movies, or that series that's airing right now? I know the series didn't do all well in America, but it's about to start it's third season in Japan.

The SD Gundam movies from the 80s are great. They're actually funny, the animation is good and it made fun of the Gundam world in a really good manner. If you haven't seen those, try finding them, a torrent or two should be out there somewhere.

I dun watch Gundam at all.

I'll watch anything animated..even those annoying flash banners, just to pass the time. ^_^
