    I'm curious. I'll de-stickify and delete this once I'm unbored. How do you tend to play games?

    Minimalistic?
    -This is how I play. I go from beginning to end without purposely going for any side quests or extras. If I encounter one however, I will complete it. I tend to play for the story.

    Complete Run?
    -You're not satisfied unless you've collected and unlocked everything in the game. You want to earn your bragging rights.

    Speed?
    This can go under any play style, but quite simply you want to beat it as quickly as possible.

    Extreme
    You make things difficult on yourself. For instance...in a Zelda game it would be the "three heart challenge".

    Other?

    The very first time I play a game, or if I don't realize there are many sidequests to be unlocked or completed, I do speed runs. I just go through as fast as I can to be able to say I've beaten the game. For example, that's what I'm doing now with Final Fantasy VII and what I end up doing with the Pok?mon games.

    Once I've done that, and I still want to play the game, I tend to replay it, trying to obtain and unlock everything. So basically, a complete runthrough. o_o I'm doing this now with Tales of Symphonia and (surprisingly on my first time around) with Final Fantasy X-2.

    I do complete runs for adventure games usually, like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64...those types. Occasionally I attempt complete runs after my first play through, but usually I just play it in a minimalistic way again or work on speed runs.

    Super Mario 64 is a Complete run for me. I want to see (SPOILER ALERT> RUN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED) Yoshi on the top of the castle and get 100 lives. Collect all 120 stars to get it. Im now trying to complete Tales Of Symphonia in Mania mode. Really, I just want to face Forceystus in MAnia just for fun.

    Anyways, In Resident Evil, I want to do speed. For the Bonus Features and to get over my fears for Crinsom Heads (V-Acts) of course. Currently playing Resident Evil 4. It's not as scary as One, but it's just as disturbing (las Plagas are scary)

    Anyways, it depends on the type of game im playing that decides how I do it. RPG's like ToS and Pokemon I'd like to complete, while some racing or other action games I just want standard.

    I definatley do a complete run on all of my games. But after doing that, I get bored of them ;;

    I complete the main parts of the game, and then redo parts so i can beat the game completely, so you could say i do a complete run.

    only you would think of this Triforce, only you. Thats a good question - i would probably say i am minimalistic, and when i replay it i go back for all the goodies.

    I try to beat all of my games in complete runs. Even if they're only sports games. I'm a perfectionist so that's probably why.

    I'm 'other'. I'm a mix of them all!

    Me, I'm complete run, I just have to do everything in the game, I mainly do it because I love unlocking things and it makes the game last longer.:)

    I complete the game, go back looking for stuff I missed first time. Then when I finished 100%, I complete it as fast as I can. Then I bring my health(or whatever) down to like, 25%, and do that. :D

    As for the way I play... I tend to play my games two ways, based on how well I can play said game.

    When I play a game for the first time, I play Minimalistic, since I'm learning how to play it. I will however do a few side quests and get a few things that I'll need to make the game easier for me.

    When I get good... I go for a Complete Run and go for EVERYTHING!!

    If I had to pick one... I'd choose Minimalistic.

    The first time I play a game, I go for the minimalistic run. Basically, I just want to see how the game ends without going too fast.

    Once I've completed the game, I won't stop playing the second, third, and so on playthroughs until I've done a Complete Run.

    To keep myself from getting bored, I do a Extreme/Speed Run once I've completed everything. With the mix of an extreme and a speed run, I can keep myself very busy playing the game as quickly and as difficult as possible.

    How ES plays her games:

    If I have a walkthrough handy of the game in question, I do a complete run. If not, I just grab the important stuff

    Well sweeties, when I first get a game, I'm a complete run. ^^; But after I beat the game, it's extreme, or speed for me. ^^;

    I play minimalistic runs the first time through, and then complete runs my subsequent runs..

    I do a complete run if I have a guide book if I don't have one I usually do a minimalistic run.

    I use cheats to finish the game, proving how much of a loser I am when it comes to video games.

    If I can't find any cheats, I try my best but probably give up :P
