I almost always go for a minimalistic or complete run.

I usually do a minimalistic run first and If im still interested in the game when I've finished it then I'll play it again and try to do a complete run.

Well I try to complete it as fast as I can...then do everything else that is needed to be done..XD

I usually go for the complete run, though sometimes I like taking the minimalist run, then going back after I beat the game to complete everything.

Depends on the game. Mostly I go for completion if I unlock special stuff for doing so. Also depends on how much time I have and/or how long the game keeps my interest.

First I do complete run (or try to) then I do...then I leave the game for a while, come back to it later, minimalist minimalist minimalist games after that...then go for the extreme...

ah i just revived the thread in the last day
aint i great

Complete run, you can't enjoy a game unless you unlock EVERYTHING!! that's where all the fun is, the super awesome unlockables(things like the big goron's sword in legend of zelda: ocarina of time or the mask in zelda: majora's mask where you "grow up" and get white hair and a weird sword that you can only get after getting all the masks)
