Ow…That pokemon…that hurt, Thomas thought while rubbing his head slightly. He directed his attention back to the girl. She seemed to be introducing herself, he could only catch bits and pieces of what she was saying. Thomas decided it was a good thing that he had been able to hear the name, at least. He watched the girl as she continued speaking, and as his head slowly stopped pulsing, Thomas could finally make out what she was saying. She was talking about the sea being a pool? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, is she dense or something? We're stranded here…And there she goes, Thomas thought as he watched her head off towards some trees. He grinned as she fell from the tree she was climbing on. Ivory got up and shouted something, holding up some bananas. She seems really naïve…Hm, who's there?

Thomas turned his attention 180 degrees, and spotted a girl with a pokemon walking towards him hesitantly, then with meaning. Hm, this girl is an odd one…Doesn't even introduce herself? Eh, oh well, Thomas smiled slightly, then spoke, "I'm Thomas…Who're you?", immediately following his answer, Thomas got up, and poked Wartortle, waking him up.
"Tortle…", he said sleepily. Thomas grinned at the response he got from the turtle, then walked on over to Ivory, waving his hand in a gesture for the girl, her pokemon, and Wartortle to follow, after all, Ivory has bananas. At the thought of bananas, his mind brought up a picture of a familiar monkey. Grabbing a pokeball from his belt, Thomas held it out, and asked Aipom to come out.
"Aipom! …Ai? Pom?", the monkey called out, then looked around curiously.

"Hey, sorry to say, but we're on what looks to be a deserted island. But don't worry there's some bananas over there, Aipom", Thomas said, then pointed the banana-bearing trees out to Aipom. Aipom jumped up happily, then dashed to the trees, bypassing Ivory and her pokemon, and climbing up the tree quite nimbly, and reached a nice bunch of bananas. Pulling on them, he plummeted to the ground, but quickly recovered and skipped back to the group. Thomas smiled at his energetic pokemon, then sat down and leaned on Wartortle's shell again. As Aipom neared the group, he sprang into the air and flipped a few times, before landing on his head, skidding to a stop right next to Thomas. Patting Aipom's head, Thomas grabbed the bananas, dusted them off, then split them up; two each for his pokemon, four for the girl and her pokemon, and peeled the last one for himself. Thomas ate the banana slowly, he liked to savor the taste of most things that he ate.

The same could not be said for Aipom, however. He greedily consumed the two bananas, and then sprinted back to the trees, apparently to grab more bananas. Thomas watched as Aipom climbed up a tree and grabbed a bunch of bananas, although he stayed up in the tree this time. Turning his attention to his other pokemon, Thomas noticed that Wartortle was eating his two bananas in the same manner that he did. Thomas looked at the girl from the corner of her eye, and it looked like she was about to say something.
"Hey, do you and your pokemon have anywhere to stay? If not, I found a place. You could stay there with me if you wanted?", she said. "I'm Shelby, by the way"

Thomas looked at her intently for a second, then, "No, I don't have a place to stay yet. Since your offering, I guess I'll take you up on it. Nice to meet you, Shelby", yawning Thomas stood up. Aipom noticed this, and jumped from the tree, and sprinted to his trainer, and jumped on his head. Thomas laughed slightly, and patted Aipom on the head. "Lead the way Shelby. Wartortle, we're going, come on", Thomas said politely to the girl, then nudged his tired turtle. I wonder what'll happen now that we're stranded on an island…Oh well, I've met two people already. There must be more out there, so we'll be fine, Thomas thought, clutching his necklace lightly. Yawning again, Thomas waited for Shelby to show the way.

Kaze stared back at Addy incredulously, his mouth agape, blue eyes wide from the shock of the girl's audacity to pilfer his balls and then feign oblivion.

"But! But!" He stammered, a pout commanding his facial expression, hands upon his hips with the cape slung over the crook of one elbow. "I chased them all this way, then they vanished! You can't pretend you didn't see 'em, because I am the amazing Kaze Zephaire! Do not deny the fact that my balls rolled over here, and you stole them! Now give them back!" The male demanded, stooping in order to bring his face closer to Addy's- he had seen such things demonstrated on police dramas, and they usually worked. However, he was not counting on the Ninetails becoming relatively hostile towards him (recognising the angry look in her eyes), and the male released a squeak upon recoiling, falling bottom-first onto the sand. "Holy crap! I'm not on the menu, Pretty-Doggy!" He scowled, bringing his knees to his chest and hugging them, one hand trailing down his shins to caress the leather of his scarlet boots. "You're lucky my Cal-Cal isn't here," came the man's mumble, as he began to draw stars and hearts within the sand around him with an outstretched index finger. "Or Stan. Stan's pretty cool, even though he tripped over his cape."

Kaze was too engrossed in his artwork to hear Addy's first imperative, but happened to stare up at her at the right time, and therefore catch the second.

"And you, tell me what your business is here!"

"Uhhhhhhhh..." He drawled, etching a spiral into the sand beside him. "Are you retarded or something? I told you- I was chasing my balls, and you stole them! Sheesh! Talk about stupid..." Taking a pinch of sand between two fingers, he flicked it in Addy's direction and then leapt to his feet with surprising agility, before the Ninetails could maul him. Throwing his cape over his head so that his upper body was concealed by the garish material, he struck a ridiculous pose. "Right," the man's voice was somewhat muffled by the garment. "You've got until the count of three to give me my balls back. I've covered my face so I can't see, because you're so adamantly refusing to co-operate otherwise. If I can't see you, I can't blame you, right?"

"Anyone want bananas?!!"

The shout's clarity enabled it to reach Kaze's ears, the word 'bananas' piquing his interest and causing him to remove the cape pre-counting to three. However, his intrigue as to where the bananas were was evident upon his face, the male's mouth practically salivating.

"Mmmm, 'nanas." He nodded as if in a trance, as his Sneasel finally caught up with him. Stan only had to prod Kaze with a razor-sharp claw to rouse him from his stupor; the strange boy returned his attention to Addy and the Nintetails that had taken a dislike to him. "Say, you wanna come with me and Stanny-boy and get some bananas? We've got plenty of money!" Kaze displayed the shell that he had plucked from the shoreline. "Also, I could do with someone to carry my cape. It's really heavy," he whined, throwing her an expression reminiscent of a hopeful puppy, "and I need my strength so I can swing on vines like Tarzan!"

Coming out of his reverie Elliot decided to let out Morpheus and tell him about the situation, though he was a bit more apprehensive on the thought of letting out Pikachu, thinking he might get scratched even more now. Standing up he decided to let out Morph. He opened his now semi dry jacket and threw the pokeball in the air. Morph came out.

"Vibrava av-" It said, cutting off in mid word, realizing where it was.

"Yeah... I know Morph... Long story short, the boat was hit by bad weather, and having no time to do much, I managed to grab on to a life buoy and falling into the ocean eventually ended up here... I don't know what happened to the others." Elliot explained, though leaving out his family's names as though to make it less hurtful to think about it.

"Ava..." It said in a sad way.

"Pikachu is here too, but I don't wanna let it out just yet." Elliot said.

"Vibra." Morph agreed.

"So what to do first," Elliot wondered. "I know you wouldn't be able to carry me all the way home, and we don't even know what direction that is really anymore... with all that travelling... All we can really go on is the sun rising in the east..."

Elliot began to pace.

"Well we could start by building a shelter." Elliot suggested.

"Vibrava!" Morph agreed.

They decided to walk along the beach until they found a good amount of deadfall to build up a shelter. However the ocean was presenting itself as a calm serene pool. Taking off his jacket and shirt, he jumped into the ocean to attempt to relax. He and Morph were relaxing when suddenly, out of nowhere, Elliot heard someone singing. At first he thought it was the iPod in his jacket, but that didn't make sense. But Morph seemed to know where to go.

Picking up his shirt and jacket, Elliot ran after Morph who had now gone ahead, attempting to find the source of sound. Morph suddenly fell back, and Elliot understood why, there were more people on the island.

"Could they be from the shipwreck too?" Elliot wondered.

He decided to engage conversation with them, as he didn't want to feel alone in this predicament. Deciding to be funny about his introduction, he decided to try and sneak up on the two of them, waiting to see if they'd realize someone was behind them. Though seeing the other's Pokémon, that even though they were busy playing, he wondered how long he could last without being seen.

(OOC: Sorry... Rewrote this several times... Didn't get any better or longer...)

Calliope's voice rose and fell, matching the steady gurgles of the waves crashing against the beach. She couldn't remember which song she was singing... Her mind was too busy trying to work out what had happened.

The boat had been torn apart by the storm, the debris that were strewn about the shoreline told Calliope as much, but what was the extent of what had happened? Were there any casualties? Did others make it to land as well? Was everybody else lost under the raging torrent of the waves where they would never be discovered? Was she alone?

No, not alone. Calliope still had her Pokemon to keep her company. She knew that she should have been grateful that they all made it here safely... Wherever it was they were. But what would she do without human contact?

Calliope knew that she could probably survive where she was. There were fruit trees and berries all around and it wouldn't be too hard to set up a rough camp. Piplup could supply fresh water and-

Calliope was broken from her thoughts by something grabbing hold of her shoulder. She immediately ceased singing and looked up, wondering if one of her Pokemon wanted to show her something. But to Calliope's amazement, the hand on her shoulder belonged to a man. He was sitting in front of her and Calliope wondered how long he had been there or if she was imagining things. He was smiling at her and as he retracted his hand, he began to sing.

He had a beautiful voice, much better than any of the singers she had heard during her journey in Sinnoh. Though Calliope couldn't recognize the words or tune, she continued to listen. The boy was at least a year or two older than her and had impossibly blue hair. Calliope thought it must be dye, but it looked so natural. That and Calliope seriously doubted that somebody would bother dying their goatee blue.

Suddenly he wasn't singing and they were enveloped in silence. He just sat there, smiling.

"I've never heard that song before," Calliope said, mystified.

Something suddenly connected in Calliope's saltwater-logged mind. There was a man on the island with her, which meant she wasn't the only one that had survived!

"Oh my gosh! I thought you were all dead!" Calliope suddenly shouted, abruptly reaching forward and flinging her arms around him as she began to sob.

She heard an enraged snarl from behind her and the man was pushed away. Calliope was knocked onto her side, immediately turning her head to find her Ninetales standing on the man's chest. Ninetales pinned the man down into the sand, fire forming in her mouth as her growls grew ever more ferocious.

"Ninetales!" Calliope yelled. "Get off him!"

Ninetales looked back at Calliope and the flames in her mouth faded. She stepped off the man's chest and went to the side of her Trainer, staring murderously at the man.

"I-I'm sorry. She's just... We just... I thought that everyone on the ship had..." Calliope stuttered, getting up and going over to the man and kneeling down beside him and offering him a hand. "I'm sorry. My name's Calliope Baham. I'm from Johto, you?"

"You've never heard the song before? It's called 'Come Clean' by Hilary Duff. It's one of my favorites." Angel responded to the questioning way she said "I've never heard that song before."

Angel noted a look of sudden realization on her dace as tears came to her eyes. She suddenly flung her arms around him and sobbed. Reeling back from the shock, he slowly patted her back cmfortingly. Suddenly, a Ninetails shoved her away and pinned him to the ground. It seemed to be doing the equivalent of foaming at the mouth... except replacing the foam with flames. She suddenly called off her Ninetails and helped him up.

"Um thanks.... I'm Angel Gemps... of Kanto... I don't think we could be the only one's who survived either. Other people on the boat must've had water pokemon or found a piece of debris to float on. I know I survived by pure luck... Oh. This is my Marill!" He said as he grabbed said Marill and hugged it as if it was a stuffed animal... with Marill squirming to get away.

"And how I survived by pure luck? I was holding onto the railing while the boat rocked back and forth. It almost capsized at one point and my hand slipped. I fell towards the cabin just as it rebounded... I was knocked out cold. Marill's pokeball must've fallen out of my bag and opened while I was knocked out." Angel said emphasizing what he meant when he said he survived on pure luck.

He soon pulled himself to his feet and dusted off his shirt. Ninetails was still glaring at him and he didn't like it. Angel bent his head down and whispered into Marill's ear. Marill nodded and hopped down from his arms before jumping on Ninetails back. Ninetails looked confused for a second but relaxed after a second. Marill then bent down to Ninetails' ear as if to whisper seductively... Next was heard a cry as Marill blew some water in Ninetails' ear. Ninetails looked more surprised than hurt as Angel chuckled a little.

"Wet Willie!" he shouted as he started laughing uncontrollably. Marill seemed to be enjoying it too. "Ya can't say I don't pay back in full!" Angel said inbetween laughs before holding out his hand. "Wanna go search for other survivors?"

Calliope nodded with a smile.

"I made it off the ship by force," she said with a laugh. "Ninetales here knocked me out of the ship before I could get crushed by all the deck furniture, and..."

Calliope trailed off when the man whispered something into his Marill's ear. The Marill jumped onto Ninetale's back and leaned over to her ear, as if about to pass the secret onto her as well. Suddenly, a burst of water came out of the Marill's mouth and into Ninetale's ear.

"Wet Willie!" the man shouted, suddenly laughing uncontrollably. "Ya can't say I don't pay back in full!"

The man held out his hand to Calliope and asked, "Wanna go search for other survivors?"

Calliope looked back at Ninetales, who now had the Marill held in place by its tail. Ninetale's looked back up at the man with a snarl before turning her attention back to the mouse-Pokemon, her expression immediately softening. She lowered her head until it was level with the Pokemon, staring into its eyes. She opened her mouth and licked the small Pokemon's face before releasing it with a snort that resembled a laugh.

"Be careful how you treat Ninetales," Calliope muttered. "She holds the Trainer responsible for whatever the Pokemon does."

Calliope took the man's hand and helped him up.

"There probably are other survivors," Calliope said with a grin. "If the two of us both made it to the same island, the waves pushed us in the same direction, which means that it must have done the same to the others on the ship."

"Gib! Gib!" Calliope heard her Pokemon yell.

Calliope turned around and found her Pokemon standing nearby, pointing excitedly to a boy who stood down the beach.

"That was fast," Calliope laughed.

The boy looked about her age, certainly no older, and was taller. He had dark hair that was rather messy and was wearing a blue t-shirt and white capris. A necklace of wooden beads and his green eyes completed his "surfer-dude" look. A Vabriva was nearby him, apparently the boy's Pokemon, just hovering and watching them as its Trainer did.

"Hey there," Calliope called. "You haven't happened to see anyone else around here, have you?"

On his purposeful quiet approach towards the two people, Elliot suddenly saw one of the trainer's pokemon spot him, and turn to its trainer, the girl.

"Gib! Gib!" It yelled.

Elliot saw the girl turn around. She was so beautiful. He wasn't sure if it was because of the sun, but her kimono dazzled in the sun, as did her blonde hair as it swayed with her. Elliot stopped dead and his jaw dropped.

He turned to Morph with the same expression, and his pokemon gave him an "Oh boy..." kind of look. He suddenly realized his jaw had dropped, fixed it and replaced it with a smile, now walking forward to properly greet them. However in the midst of doing so, he tripped over some driftwood, clumsily getting up. While walking towards them, he heard her call out a question.

"Hey there," The girl called. "You haven't happened to see anyone else around here, have you?"

However, he did not intend to answer the question, until he got near enough to them, so that he didn't have to yell. After all, he didn't want to be rude to her. He finally reached to where they stood, and got a better look at the two. The girl appeared to be about her age, and just as beautiful close up as far away. He decided to snap his attention away from her for a moment to look at the boy next to her. He appeared to be the same height as Elliot, though looked much older. Elliot thought he looked like he was 24, but that could have been from the fatigue. Needless to say he appeared to be speechless.

Elliot decided to answer her question.

"No, unfortunately I haven't, in fact I'm surprised others managed to survive, with all its crashing and groaning and movement and confusion." Elliot said, while moving his arms in the air, as though trying to reenact the commotion. "Anyway, I'm Elliot, and this here is Morph, short for Morpheus. So how do you guys plan on surviving, I think we should build a shelter first, what do you guys think? Unfortunately I wonder if they know we are here. You know I hope they do, I really want to go back home... So what are your guys' names and your Pokemon too?" Elliot said quickly. Perhaps because of his recent loss and incoming denial he decided to speak fast and ask lots of questions, but this was not on his mind, nor in his thoughts.

He sat down on a nearby log awaiting their answers.

OOC: Live darn it!

Dropping a Pokeball onto the sand, Selena released Virtua from her Pokeball. Technically, the Porygon was genderless, but Selena always thought of Virtua as a female. Maybe because it was pink? Regardless, she had work for her.

"Mmm, Virtua. Can you use… uh," she paused for a moment trying to remember the name, "Thunder-Wave! That's the one. Not too strong…just sort out my hair, mm'kay?" Virtua had been taught a variety of different moves to add to its…her value. She would be a potent fighting Pokemon with such a variety of different moves if she weren't so timid and inexperienced.

"Pory!" Virtua beeped in that life-like way. Squinting to aim, the Porygon fired a small electrical wave at her trainer. Selena shivered as she felt the electrical wave quickly dried her hair and, surprisingly, untangled the knots in her hair. She had seen this trick done on TV before and mimicked what the actress had done, running her fingers through her hair and flicking it out.

"Thanks Virtua." She smiled. She had changed into a black tank top with a Pokeball logo over her heart, a pleated jean skirt and black tights. She questioned her judgement on using such a dark colour in the heat, but all her others were ruined and she couldn't go exposing too much of her body for risk of being bitten. She busied herself with securing her trademark red beret with a small bill and arranging it in the reflection of the hull, debating whether or not to leave her hair in or out. However, this was just an attempt to distract herself. After the slimy hull barely reflected her shape, let alone the finer details she would need. Her mind was back on the ship, with all the happy people on holiday…

The sound of jubilant chatter surrounded her, the girl sitting alone in the middle of a crowded mess hall. It was certainly a glamorous place; glittery chandeliers hung from the tall ceiling above; dozens of food laden tables stretched from one side of the room to the next; surrounding them were hundreds of smaller tables with once-perfect white clothes, fine silverware and varnished chairs. Selena sat on one of those tables, accompanied only by empty chairs. Regardless, she was reading. The noise didn't overly distract her for she had no interest in it. Once, a boy came and joined her, evidently trying to make some sort of move on her. But she simply ignored him until he gave up and left.

The book was a small one, but interesting. It was called "Of Rattata and Men" by Jacob Streinveck. The story itself was very interesting, emotional even. However, Selena took issue with the way he wrote it, the missed opportunities for a deeper plot and the occasionally questionable grammar didn't go down to well with her. She particularly felt the pain of the minor characters, crying out for development. She was nearing the end of the novella, deciding to stop with the end of the chapter.

Slipping the book into her bag, she gathered up Kero, who had been sleeping inconspicuously on the chair next to her, in her arms. She had to admit, she enjoyed the company of the noisy crowd in some way. She herself had never been really close to anyone, never had real friends. It wasn't something she thought of often; she was content with her own company and that of her Pokemon. But sometimes just knowing that other people were near made her feel comfortable.

She shrugged to herself as she passed the bar, once again pretending not to notice that he was watching her. The creepy old man behind the bar who had served her… She suppressed a shiver. Although knowing the world, he was probably the leader of some super secret underground resistance force aiming to overthrow the government after discovering an ancient political conspiracy that has kept the world on its knees for years. Or maybe he was just an old perv.

Selena stepped out onto the crowded deck, into the setting sun. All around them was the sea, glistening orange. Despite how late in the day it was, the deck was still filled with people, perhaps more so because of the sun's brilliant display. Slipping through the crowd, taking special care to avoid the self-proclaimed "sexy" sweaty, shirtless men, Selena made her way to the railing. Leaning out over the cool steel, she took a deep breathe of ocean air. Even a city girl like her had to admit that it was amazing. Kero seemed particularly happy, smiling complacently, eyes half open.

Suddenly, the Slakoth stiffened in her arms. Surprised, Selena looked down at him in her arms as she stared out to the horizon. A gathering storm rested there, its army of dark clouds preparing to strike. Then it struck. The boat gave a great lurch as it was slammed by a sword in the form of a wave. Then another. And another. Arrows of wind whizzed past the passengers to pepper the ship. The war horns of lightning echoed in the distance, getting ever closer.

Then the general arrived.

Selena let out a scream despite herself as the towering wall of water loomed over her and the ship. Clinging tightly to Kero, she braced for impact. She never felt it.

And…and now I'm here… she thought, hardly noticing that she had remembered so much. All she could think about was the faces. She hadn't realised she had seen so much. It was like she could remember every detail on every face she passed. But where were they? There was nobody around that she could see. Granted, with so much wreckage around, it was hard to see anything.

She had forgotten about her hair dilemma completely, simply leaving her black and red locks flowing out from underneath her cap. Instead, she began running, her heart pounding as fear caught up to her. Was she really all alone? All those people…gone…?

"Hello?" she shouted, "Is there anyone there?" Her voice gave a faint echo. "Anyone! Please…Hey!" Her foot sunk into the sand and she tripped, landing face first into the sand. For once, her first thought wasn't about how dirty or weak she must look. She lay there for a moment, body still exhausted, sobbing slightly.

The soft furry arms of Kero crept around her. As he hugged her gently, reassuringly. Virtua soon bounced up next to them, beeping as she did. She wasn't alone… Kero's grip tightened slightly. She somehow felt safer, calmer. So she remained still, wondering if her voice had reached anyone. But if it hadn't… she still wasn't alone.

Ivory watched the Aipom and its bananas with a bit of disappointment. Well, there went her amazing discovery, her back still ached, seemingly for nothing now. That was a waste of time. Everyone else would have been a little mad or annoyed, but not Ivory. She just put her smile back on and shouted in the direction of Thomas and the girl he had newly acquinted. How many people were on this island anyway?
"Hey! I see you have no more need for my bananas, so I'm going to look for others, okay?!"
Not waiting for an answer she ran in a random direction down the shore, Apolla running after her clumsily as she tried to keep up and shy away from everything else a the same time. The energetic ginger didn't seem to notice however, and simply ran until she found a random-looking guy and a girl with her ninetales. The girl didn't seem to be that happy with the weird guy, who was handing her his cape. Well, she'd seen weirder things, but not that many.

"Hey1! I got some bananas in need of eating, wanna volunteer?" She smiled brightly, as if finding more people was the best thing that had ever happened to her. Her bright hair was curling in all directions with some sand and leaves stuck in it, but she didn't seem to notice. Her bright green eyes were switching from looking at the guy and the girl. The girl had beautiful black hair with bubblegum streaks and green eyes almost identical to Ivory's. She looked like she wasn't at all equipped to survive on a remote island. She actually left the impression of a bit of a spoiled rich kid, but who knew? The pale redhead had to look up to see the girl's face however, but she was used to it. Being little over 5 feet often had that affect on you, the muscles in her neck should be made of steel by now.
The guy was a little bit shorter than the girl, but he also stood out significantly more. She still had to look up to look at him, but she could clearly see the crop of bright red hair, close to the shade she was sued to seeing in the mirror every day. His eyes were blue, however, and overall he was a tiny bit feminine. It was what he wore that really commanded attention. Starting with the cape, or cloak or whatever you called it, that he was handing the girl. You could say that he had quite the unique taste in clothing. In a whole, he looked quite the individual.
She then noticed she had been staring at the two. She once again retreated in a string of words that came out of her mouth faster than you'd think one could talk. "Ehm, sorry, I haven't introduced myself have I? My names Ivory van Dijck, and it looks like we're stranded, doesn't it? It doesn't have to be a bad thing I mean, it could be good there's a tropical beach and it's sunny and there should be a whole lot of Pokémon in the forest and I've got bananas so we won't starve there's plenty of food more and we could probably make a campfire so we won't freeze. Talk about freezing how are we ever going to sleep?" Breath. "Did you guys come from the same boat as I did? Of course you did I didn't see any other boats, it was quite a scare wasn't it? Sinking into the ocean like that I wonder how many people survived and if I will ever get to see my family agai-," she blinked and then shook her head.
"I'm sorry, I talk when I'm nervous. Anyway, help yourself."

I can't believe I invited him to stay with me, Shelby thought. She blinked at the sleepy looking Wartortle. It wasn't that she didn't like the Thomas guy; it was just that she never did something like that. Normally it would take her forever to trust someone enough. With a small sigh, she just figured that it was most likely because of the fact that there was a possibility that she and him—well, and that one girl Ivory whom Shelby didn't know too much—were the only ones on the island. A pang hit Shelby's chest, but she disregarded it and continued leading him towards her shelter.

"Well, here it is," Shelby said, motioning towards it. She settled her hands on her hips and surveyed the small hut. "It's not much, and I really hadn't planned on sharing it, but I think it'll fit two people." Shelby paused and then walked inside. Thomas followed her, peering in. "Don't worry, I don't have a bunch of girly stuff in here," Shelby said with a bit of a grin. Thomas huffed and then walked in. Shelby found that there was still quite a bit of room, so it was a nice space for two people.

"It's pretty nice," Thomas commented. He shifted slightly.

Shelby noted that he seemed a bit uncomfortable, so she suggested they go outside. Once there, Shelby pulled up another log around the fire and sat on the one she had previously. Thomas sat on the other log, scooting a bit closer to the fire. Shelby noticed the clothes she had left out, and then hurriedly stuffed them back in her bag. At least they're dry from the fire now, she thought. She noted that her bag seemed to be almost completely dry as well.

They sat in silence as the morning turned to afternoon. Shelby felt the warmth of the sun upon her back. She sighed and then looked out to the ocean. Thomas glanced over his shoulder, following her gaze. Then he turned his eyes back to her and asked, "Am I missing something?" Shelby blinked, slightly startled and then began to laugh. Thomas looked at her in confusion.

"Sorry, you just sort of scared me," Shelby replied. She saw something out of the corner of her eye, and immediately stood up. Thomas blinked and turned around, scanning the ocean for what she might have seen.

"Am I missing something?" Thomas asked in confusion.

"You see," Shelby began, "there was this Pokémon that saved me." She walked towards the waves. Quilava, who was out of his pokeball, followed her but stayed just out of reach of the water. "And I think it was a Horsea," Shelby continued. "So obviously, I want to catch that Horsea and make it a part of my team!" she finished, turning around to face Thomas. He nodded in understanding, putting a hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun.

"So how do you plan on getting it to actually come up to shore?" Thomas asked curiously. Shelby blanched, realizing that there was that little flaw in her plan. Thomas snickered. "You hadn't thought of that yet, had you? I mean, you have a Quilava that doesn't even want to go near the water and a Larvitar that shouldn't either," Thomas pointed out.

"Yeah, I really need to think things through better," Shelby grumbled. She then stared out at the ocean, trying to devise a way to catch that Horsea.

OOC: Finally my stress and emo fits over Mother's Day are over. Prom was ok... I ended up flipping off the DJ cuz he didn't know how to do his job. Anyways... I now haz catching ups to do-s...

"Hey, your Ninetails messes with me or my pokemon, I'll mess right back. I don't take crap from anybody," Angel said as he turned his head to Ninetails. "Pokemon or not. So... Calliope, huh? Mind if I call you Cali?" He asked as she helped him up gracefully.

Suddenly her Gible sound, having found someone. A boy who seemed to look like a surfer came up to them. His hair and clothes practically screamed surfer. Angel rolled his eyes. 'Someone only interested in the fun of life' he thought, judging th kid rather quickly. Although the kid had a Vibrava, something that shocked Angel. Surfers were usually known for their water pokemon.

Angel put on an exasperated face as the kid introduced himself as Elliot and began to ramble off questions like there was no tomorrow. Angel watched As Elliot then sat on a log and waited like a little kid with ADHD on caffiene.

"In order. Dunno. sounds like a good idea. I don't think anyone knows where we are. I'm Angel Gemps, This is my Marill and I also have a crybaby Whismer" he said answering Elliot's questions just as quickly. "Now I have a question. Have either of you seen my iPod? It has a rugged rubber outer skin with shock protection and water proofing everywhere. It's pretty heavy and should have about 10,000 songs on it."

Thomas grinned at her lack of thought, She's interesting, to say the least. Ahaha, I may as well help out, Thomas thought, then nudged Wartortle, directing him towards the ocean.

"Find the Horsea she's looking for, why don't you? I'll get some food from the forest while you look. Take your time, I'll be back Shelby...", Thomas said, then both trainer and pokemon set off. Wartortle was swimming rather slowly, he obviously had no plans to disobey the order to take his time. Ahh, this is a change in pace...I'm actually staying in a place with a girl? Ahaha, can't afford to picky, though. I don't have a clue where I am, Thomas thought, then his stomach reminded him that it was nearly empty, and so Thomas resumed his search for food. "Aipom, come out. I need help finding some food!", the monkey hopped up and down as he materialized, happy to be needed. Stealing a quick glance at his trainer, Aipom climbed up a tree and began looking for food with enthusiasm.

On the ground, Thomas resumed walking. stepping through several bushes along the way. His search yielded only four berries; Two Oran berries, an Aspear berry, and a Tamato berry. Thomas sighed, he didn't know much about foraging, and was able to only gather minor food items.
"Ai! Pom!", a voice cried out before an unidentified object landed in a bush nearby. As Thomas drew closer, a head popped out, Aipom's head. Took him long enough... Thomas picked up the monkey, and to his surprise, a bunch of bananas were held firmly in his tail-hand! Smiling, Thomas patted Aipom, then started walking back to "camp".

Thomas felt a slight chill, and looking up to the sky, he noticed that it was getting late, the sky turning a nice shade of orange. Hm, I'll have to hurry then. I want to see this sunset, it looks to be a nice one, Thomas grinned, and then pulled a banana from Aipom's grasp. Aipom didn't seem too interested in letting the bananas go, but relented after the threat of keeping him in the pokeball for a day. As Thomas munched on a banana, he couldn't help but wonder what was up with the storm. It looked like a nice enough day. That storm just came from nowhere...

Thomas was relieved of his thoughts when a ray of light cut through the trees, momentarily blinding him. As his vision cleared up, Thomas spotted not only Shelby, but also Wartortle and a newcomer; Horsea. They looked pleasant, Wartortle was sleepily engaged in a conversation with the water type, obviously Wartortle opted for a peaceful way to bring the Horsea in. Thomas yawned for a second then grabbed the bananas from Aipom.
"Hey, we're back. I found a few berries, and Aipom found us a bunch of bananas, hope you don't mind it at all", Thomas declared, holding up the bananas for all to see.

When Thomas left Wartortle behind to go look, Shelby suddenly had an idea. Before she could say anything, the Pokémon leaped away from her and into the ocean, disappearing beneath the waves. Shelby cocked her head to the side curiously, what exactly is it doing? Moments later, Wartortle reappeared, a small Horsea directly behind it.

Wartortle yawned and plopped down in the sand. Quilava looked up at Shelby curiously. Horsea began to talk to Wartortle, leaving Shelby even more confused. She wasn't sure whether she should catch it or if she should just let it come and go as it wanted to. Moments later, Shelby heard Thomas say something and turned to see him approaching with an Aipom. They had berries and bananas in their arms.

"Nice," Shelby said, walking over to them and leaving the Pokémon to talk. "We actually found some fruits and stuff earlier and there's a basket thing in there with them. It's actually just a bunch of leaves with sticks around it so it won't break or something, but oh well," Shelby shrugged.

"Ok, I'll go put those in there," Thomas said. He disappeared back inside the hut with his Aipom. After he reappeared moments later, he asked, "Just wondering, but why are there Pokémon tracks leading into the jungle from your hut?"

Shelby frowned and then suddenly remembered. "Oh, there was a Bulbasaur that came in there. I thought it was a plant until it moved and freaked me out," Shelby rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "Then it ran off into the woods, and I had to go chasing Larvitar because he followed it." Thomas snickered.

Shelby sighed and looked around. Wartortle then walked up to Thomas and tugged on his pant leg and started talking in Pokémon. Shelby knew that Thomas could probably figure out what was up, but Shelby could only do that for her Pokémon. Horsea bounced over at stayed still, then suddenly it shot a burst of water at Shelby's face. Thomas started laughing as well as Wartortle. Quilava cried out and ran over, knocking Horsea away.

"Well that's nice," Shelby muttered, wiping the water off her face. Horsea bounced around a bit more, and then shot a spot of ink at her face this time. Quilava shot an ember attack toward Horsea.

"I think you might want to battle it," Thomas observed.

"Haha, thanks for the information," Shelby called over to him.

Wartortle yawned and plopped down next to Thomas, beginning to doze off again. Thomas sat down and let Wartortle lean against him, ready to watch the battle. Aipom hopped up to Thomas's shoulder, ready to watch as well.

"Alright, Quilava start things off with a smokescreen," Shelby called. A plume of smoke burst out of Quilava's mouth, covering the area they were battling in. There was a cry from Horsea, and then suddenly a jet of water flew past Quilava. "Quilava, try for a quick attack!" Shelby said confidently. Quilava was very fast, so she didn't doubt it would hit.

Quilava vanished with the smoke, and then almost seemed to reappear next to Horsea. He slammed into the wild Pokémon, sending it crashing into the waves. Horsea bounced back, ready to go. Then it shot another jet of water towards Quilava, hitting him directly. Shelby clenched her teeth and glanced around.

"Quilava, leap in the air and use flamethrower!" Shelby called. Quilava leapt up and seemed to pause in midair. Moments later, a bust of fire shot from its mouth and slammed into the wild Pokémon. Horsea cried out as it skidded out of the shallow water and back onto the beach. "Now come back down in a rollout!" Shelby shouted. Quilava began to spin, and then slammed into Horsea with double the force as it hit the ground.

Shelby then realized she didn't have her pokeballs. Aw crap! She thought, glancing around. Suddenly Thomas tossed her bag to her. Shelby called thanks and then dug around; searching for the few she had with her. She tossed one towards Horsea, and the Pokémon was engulfed in a flash of light.

(OOC: I didn't know whether or not you were supposed to say if I caught it or not, but if not then Swiftswim can put whether I do or not in his post, or I can just continue the rest later)

Name:
Crystal Estrada

Gender:
Female

Age:
16

Personality:
Crystal is not a self-centered person, and, in fact she will offer help to anyone who looks like they need it. She loves her Pokemon and visibly flinches when they faint, mostly because the look they give her that says they did their best and that they're sorry for losing. She believes that the value of her Pokemon is greater than her life, and she would rather see them live than see herself live if the desicion ever came. Crystal often breaks down when she is unbelieveably lonely and sorrowful, but other than that she usually looks at the good side of things. Crystal despises Ghost Pokemon, and has more feeling for Ice, Fire, and Flying Types.

She is knowledgable with survival skills, and uses them a lot. She constantly brainstorms for new ideas, which sometimes gets her in trouble. Her curiosity does the same.

Appearance:
-puts in RP post format for fun ^.^-

The forest was silent with the exception of the fresh, green leaves, which were tinted a light pink from the rising sun. From the height of at least twenty five feet you could peek into the branches of a large pecan tree and see sky blue patches of what seemed like a silky cloth through the sparse gaps in the thick canopy of leaves. Though from someone looking up from the base of the tree, the only thing visible was the branches, the most matted point too thick to see through.

If you were to begin to climb the tree from a certain angle to gather the bountiful pecans so high up, you would see the same cloth, but still only through the uncommon gaps. Go higher, at least fifteen feet, only then could you see a bun of blonde hair. If your curiosity drew you towards the presence of a human being, then you would keep climbing, and the faint details of a girl could then be made out.

If your eyesight was well tuned to certain details and nature, you could see the clear circles with black outline on her sky blue kimono, which overlapped to form an exotic blue flower. That same flower dappled the rest of the japanese garb, which had a barely dishinguishable flap on it's side, which bulged ever so slightly. Creep closer, and the girl of nature would with no doubt see you, and look curiously to the slightest rustle of the leaves and the music of pecans knocking together softly.

The common response would be a gasp if you stared directly into her eyes, which were a deep blue. They were not a solid blue, though, instead they would swirl with light colors such as emerald, more azure, and a hint of brown. You would more than likely see her dainty, tan knuckles seem to tap on the trunk of the tree, breaking open a pecan effortlessly and popping the nut, shell and all into her mouth, then roll her tongue over the delicious nut, then spit out the shell and bitter chunks. You would see her Japanese sandals gleam faintly in the dim light that broke through the thick, heavy blanket of leaves and branches, as if they had gems in them, though it is clear that they do not.

Bio:
Crystal grew up with her parents, who were of middle-class, almost poor, in Kanto. They lived in the midst of woods on an expensive plot of land that they owned before her father lost his high-paying job. She spent a lot of time outside, which left her with tanned skin. She caught one Pokemon in the surrounding forest-a Charmander, which was an extremly rare find, but she had been looking for one for years.

When she hit the age of 11 she set out to travel the world (well, try) and sent most of her earnings to her parents. During her travels she evolved her female Charmander, Wind Song, into a Charmeleon, and caught a shiny Vulpix and normal Spheal. She evolved the Vulpix, Silverwind, into a Ninetales after saving up a lot of money for a Fire Stone. Spheal naturally evolved into a Sealeo.

It took word a long time to reach Crystal about the ship to another region. She eagerly boarded after purchasing tickets, and then enjoyed every moment of her time on the ship. When she was stranded on the island, she wondered how in the world she was going to survive.

2.
Name:
Wind Song

Gender:
Female

Species:
Charmeleon

Personality:

Lucy

Female

OOC: Yay for study leave! Boo for exams... Regardless, I can be active again.

Selena sighed as she watched the waves, her feet leading her more than her mind. Her gaze shifted towards the jungle that seemingly sprang up only a few metres inland. Kero's eyes had copied hers, eyeing the lush forest leaves longingly from her arms. Virtua simply bounced happily beside them, enjoying the solitude and relative silence. She readjusted her hat slightly; the sun was getting into her eyes. As she did so however, she spotted a group of objects glinting in the sand. Pokeballs?

There could still be Pokemon trapped inside! The girl thought. How long could they survive without food or water, stuck within those orbs? Virtua bleeped, as if reading her mind, and shot over towards them. Selena followed at her own pace, wondering briefly where Virtua got her energy from. There were five of them, bouncing off the sunlight with their remarkable cleanliness. Obviously they hadn't been here for very long, otherwise bacteria picked up from the sea would have colonised them by now. Evidently, the crash hadn't taken place too long ago – a day at most. A quick reasoning later made her feel incredibly stupid. I'd be dead if it had been longer, moron.

To quickly change the mental subject, she knelt down to inspect the Pokeballs. Virtua gave a sad whirring noise of disappointment. The balls were empty. She should be pleased really; there was nothing more troublesome than looking after something that wasn't hers. Who knows how much nonsense she would have to put up with their whining for their old trainer or specific tastes in food or "battle regimes" or any other foolishness that stems from those idiots traipsing around chasing a dream that will never be. With an exasperated sigh at the stupidity of Trainers, she slipped the Pokeballs into her bag. They might come in handy for whatever reason. Maybe I could figure out how to configure it to hold items instead...She had several Item-class Pokeballs with her and she was pretty sure she had watched enough secret-agent shows to work out how it's done.

Her stomach gave a soft gurgle. Virtua beeped in surprise, bouncing around left to right, trying to locate the noise. Kero tilted his head up to look at her with a slow, yet smug smile on his face.

"Oh shut up Kero." She shot, cheeks flushing slightly. Although that did bring up a problem: Kero only needed a few leaves a day to survive happily, which were in plentiful supply, and Virtua didn't need to eat at all. She could of course, and enjoyed it too, but it wasn't a necessity. That left her the weakest link. Groaning inwardly, she dug a hand into her bag, fishing out a packet of crisps (or potato chips as commoners called them. She never understood why. Regular chips are potato! But then those are called French Fries. What twit came up with this stuff?). Tearing it open, she delicately bit off half of the first one and soon demolished half of the packet.

As she had been munching, her journey had continued. Kero had been relocated so that he draped over her shoulders, his head sitting comfortably next to hers, occasionally plucking a crisp from Selena's fingers for himself. Virtua simply continued as she was, curiously examining each piece of debris they crossed. After moving on from a decidedly dull piece of what might have been the ship's steering wheel, Virtua's body suddenly became very stiff as she spotted something in the not too far distance. People.
There were three of them; two guys and a girl from what she could make out. One was sitting down on a conveniently placed log, while the other was being pulled off the ground by the girl. What a couple of goofballs. She thought to herself. Someone needs to save that poor girl.

"Ahoy there!" she called out uncharacteristically. Shouting was something she strongly disapproved of, mostly because it was such a bother to do. Additionally: 'ahoy there'? Regardless, she was merely yards from them now, one hand dangling beside her with the crisp packet, the other on her hips, altering her posture. Survivors...

"Uhhhh, helloooo?" Kaze waved one hand impatiently in Addy's face, an endeavour to rouse her from whatever prevented her from responding to his proposal. "Darn, musta made her speechless with my sparkliness or something Stan!" The stilettoed-Sneasel snorted in order to clear his nostrils of the sand that had lodged its way there. Suddenly, a new voice pierced through the atmosphere that was beginning to unsettle the flamboyant man.

"Hey! I got some bananas in need of eating, wanna volunteer?"

Had Kaze died and gone to Heaven? Or was Lady Luck shining down upon him like a magnificent beacon? As Ivory studied the two of them, Kaze studied the bananas in all their vibrant, golden-yellow glory, literally salivating on the spot. Would she really allow him to consume every single perfectly-formed bunch? Then Kaze mentally remarked on how much they reminded him of fingers, and he suddenly felt sick, pale skin gaining a slightly green tone.

He was suddenly distracted from his nausea however, as the newcomer burst into a monologue. Could it be that there was someone else on this Earth who babbled as much as he did? Sitting down upon the sand cross-legged, he stared defiantly up at Ivory.

"So, it's a challenge huh? You think you can talk more than I do and blame it on nerves? No way! No-one can talk more than I, Kaze Zephaire! The magnificent acrobatic wonder of Troupe Zephaire! Unless they've changed it, iunno, I haven't seen my family in AGES. Ages I tell you! But anyway, you've got a frickin' weird name. And your last name," he guaffawed heartily. "It sounds like another name for Kaze Junior, hahahaha! But you won't stop me with a silly last name, no way no way no way! I like fire, but I don't like camping- too many bugs you see, and I have a phobia of Caterpie. Spinarak however, are okay, but Caterpie are just weird. Too weird! You know, I usually sleep with one eye open, but that's just me. I could show ya if you really don't know how to sleep," he positioned himself face down in the golden grains, his next words becoming muffled. "See! You sleep like this and-- peh! Stupid sand! Who put it there?! Damn you, whoever you are! I hate Mondays- it must be Monday today, because we fell off that boat, and now I have sand in my mouth." Almost as impetuously as he had demonstrated laying down, he was upright again, a beard of sand upon his chin and some spattered across his upper lip. "You know, I bet the boat sank because there was a really fat person on it. But, if that person is here too, then we can get our revenge by eating them- it'd be killing two Pidgey with one stone. And I don't want a 'nana now, they look like fingers, and cannibalism really isn't my thing. Oooh, do I win? And I'm not even nervous!" He waggled his eyebrows at Ivory, the hopeful expression returning once more. "Also, I think this one might already be dead." He pointed straight to Addy. "She won't talk to me, but her Ninetails thinks I'm the spawn of the Devil or something. Everyone knows that the Devil has dark hair, and I'm a red-head. Stan. Do you want a banana before Miss. Genitalia offers them to someone else?"
