episode 20 was really rushed imo. the light novel has like a full chapter on asuna meeting up with the sleeping knights and how they had some laughs, and another chapter on her conflict with her mother iirc. short meetup with yuuki & friends + lol 5 mins conflict with mom + prelim boss fight + kirito showing up at the end = too rushed. idk why im still watching maybe cos i like the genre idk :/ if i do watch next week ill see how they make up for this.

edit: siune was a lot different than i expected. her voice was higher and she seemed more energetic than expected, especially with those eyes...

Yeah it did feel rushed. But A-1 doesn't surprise me with that crap anymore. *cough* Season 1 *cough*

Anyway I'll just have to settle for the awesome fight scenes.

As someone who has no idea how the light novel went, it seemed reasonably paced to me :).

This season in general is lacking any motivation or drive though. Is this really a new arc or just a collection or random little stories? ><

Awesome Raid boss fight, alongside the LH2 raid this was a great week.

And then that ending song plays right on that part. The Feels. ;_;

The opening sure does ! I love Sword Art ! I love the SAO arc. Because its completely made in the imagination world ! Actually SAO arc is the only arc I have watched till now. I'm thinking of getting the UW arc.

Just finished watching it now.

Really enjoyed it.
The Gun Gale arc dragged a bit though even though using guns was cool.
The Excalibur arc was great especially seeing the main cast from SAO I altogether again with Sinon.
The Mothers Rosario arc was amazing, i really like the positive way it handled Terminal illness and how HIV/AIDs was looked at from a different perspective.

Yep, yep. Yuuki deserved much more space in the series than just a filler volume...
I knew what was gonna happen before the arc started but it still got to me.
Yuuki is certainly one of the best girls in SAO. (I even cleared whole NG+ in Hollow Fragment with her =D)

Anyway, Mother's Rosario, gotta be one of my favorite arc in the series now. The other being GGO 'cause you know how I like my feminine Kirito. Too bad it didn't last long.

Although, the part before the ED plays is kind of... cliff-hangerish. Man, counting the Hanami festival after the ending asides, that is one way to end a season. ._.
