T-Dome...A good addition?

Sure I like the TDome as much as the next member, but did it belong at PC? I mean, do we need to be talking about s.e.x. at a POKEMON forum? To me, it just doesn't seem worthwhile. I think it degrades our image. The age limit rules aren't enforced well enough, letting kids talk about things that they shouldn't be.
I'm not against the TDome concept, I'm just asking, does it belong at PC?

I have to say that it was a good idea. It's not like we're describing specific sexual acts or anything, so I don't see why a kid hearing about stuff they most likly know about already (although I went to an inner-city school, so my view on what your average third-grader knows about sex, drugs, etc. might be a bit different) is so bad. Besides, this isn't specifically reserved for Pokemon, I don't doubt that some members of PC dislike Pokemon and come here for the RPing or discussion of other stuff. It's a very general-intrest board, thusly, adding a more mature section is good for those who (like myself) enjoy a lot of discussion.

Well, anyways, T-Dome was NOT a good addition to PC. I'm so against it after seeing it.

PC is a Pokemon forum. Pokemon. Pokemon does not have any of the stuff in T-Dome...at all. Actually, if we wanted to be an all Pokemon forum, Other Chat wouldn't be necessary. But everyone gets tired of all-Pokemon talk once in a while, so Other Chat is okay and perfectly healthy. But T-dome...do we really need that? I mean, gosh. It surely grossed me out. I see PC, now, as a filthy thing kinda, something that I must think twice before touching. And if you people want real life talk...as they said...

You have so many places to do so. Don't litter PC.

You could say everything in there is still an important part of reality... Though you are kind of mentioning the non-sick parts of that board.

1. It isn't really dirty, you don't see porn pictures all over it or cybersex or any of that crap, just mature discussion
2. No one says you have to go and look at it, ignoring is just fine

(I still don't have an opinion myself, but Carol does have a good point of how it IS a wreck PC's integrity.)

Plus, I rarely ever post in the threads dealing with matters of sex or the sort.
