    Introduction
    It may be familiar to some of you, specifically Smogon members. Am I copying smogon? The answer is no. The Tag-Team WiFi tournament was originally my idea back in 2007, but I couldn't finish of the tournament due personal issues and other reasons. Take a look at the original thread here.
    Tag-Team WiFi tournament will be unique and challenging in many ways.
    The battles will take place between two teams each with three members. If a team wins two out of three battles, they will head on to the next round. More will be specified below.
    It's not depending on you alone to win the tournament, so be careful when you select your team members. This is an OU tournament, no Ubbers are allowed.

    NOTE: This is a Wi-Fi tournament. To enter the tournament you must have Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum game and access to Nintendo WiFi(either by router, USB connector or hotspots). Battles will not be held on Shoddy, unless participants have problems with their Wi-Fi at a certain point.

    How does it work?
    It is very simple; you find two other PC members, form a team and join the tournament. All of the teams must have a name. Please name your team reasonably and let all members of your team decide the name. Before you post your team, consider who will be battling first, second and third and post the team members in that order.
    E.g.
    Team A:
    Y (FC: 0000 0000 0000)
    X (FC: 0000 0000 0000)
    Z (FC: 0000 0000 0000)

    This indicates that Y will be battling first followed by X and Z. This makes it easier for your team members to contact their opponants.
    As each team has three members, you would need to win two out of three battles to proceed on to the next round. This way, we avoid any contact between the teams to decide who will be battling whom. Please make sure you read the tournament rules. In the case of a draw (e.g. both teams with one Win and one of the battles was a draw), the people who have a draw in a match would have to do their battle again.

    Addition: In Tournament 2(the current one), you can only choose to use Pokemons from a specific Region and name your team after that Region. Example; Kanto(1-151) will be known as Team Kanto. However if there is more than one team from the same Region, they will be named Team [Region Name] 1 and Team [Region Name] 2.

    Greene, Painter has XDLugia in his team. Am not sure if he has a third member yet, but there are plenty of other people.
    Not really a big issue I gues :).
     
    so id better go ask people if they want to be on my team :P
    and if anybody wants me on theirs (which they wont XD) feel free to ask

    In a way yes. Find two other people, who agrees to join your team. Name your team, and post your team here in the battling order.

    We have few teams coming up very soon =).
