This is the most popular f2p game on Steam (If you don't know what Steam is, I say it in the last paragraph). This game is worth playing it if you like FPS games. It takes some hours to download it but no problem!

The things that you can do are playing against your friends or enemies in many maps and modes(even from other games like Minecraft), collecting weapons, hats and cosmetic items from random drops and trading.

There are 9 classes with different weapons and abilities. Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Engineer, Heavy, Demoman, Medic, Spy and Sniper are all of them.

Items are very important which make the owner having strategical mind on how to eliminate the enemy, and use them by looking at the item's stats

Trading helps collecting items from other players. You may need an item who someone doesn't need and you trade for something he might like to have.

If you want to add me, just ask my link on Steam.

What is Steam? It is a very popular program for the PC which is used from many gamers to download or buy games with real money, often cheap. You can make friends, chat, get in groups and play games together. Many new games require Steam for their own reasons.

Yeah...Tf2 is just awesome. It's like, ANY VALVE GAME TURN OUT TO BE GOOD. What I adore about valve's products is that they are simple yet addictive. The best example ie TF2. SO yeah ppl. If u hadn't tried it yet, GET TO IT! It's free!

WTF is this? I don't think Valve's TF2 really needs advertising.

I will keep this open for discussion on TF2 but stop saying 'LIEK GO GET IT'.

I never had a mind to buy it when it was sold, and still don't, but it can be enjoyable for what little time I do spend playing it.
No single class befits my playstyle, despite Valve's claims, but I am quite the nonspecialist. I only ever play it with a friend, as I don't find it inherently fun like I do CoD4.

Might as well start some sort of discussion regarding TF2.

Well sweeties, how are you guys liking the Australian Christmas update? I'm enjoying the little festive reskins but I'm more interested in the Engie's Brainiac Pack. I still haven't manage to find one of the weapons for the pack.

Has anybody been giving away some gifts this Ssissmas season?

Quite frankly, I haven't been paying too much attention to the Aussie Christmas 2(011). I've been playing too much Minecraft to notice. One thing I did see was those new fists, I would use them for lulz...
And now I saw the Engineer pack. Can't wait to use it.

At first it felt gimmicky and almost pay2win (since you could only get the community items from crates) but it grew on me. Still disappointed that weapons don't have individual crafting recipes

You need luck to get every weapon. I got the Phlogistinator by luck and the Maul also. Which maps are you playing? I like Minepit the most, it's funny and very good for me because I use the Pyro.

Just a question guys, how was the community before it went F2P? I'm F2P myself, but the teams I've played with were extremely imbalanced, with 3 snipers or spies and not a single medic. Quite a few people complained, and I can only assume that this kind of game would have a better community.

Pretty much the same. Except instead of *****ing about TF2 going F2P, people just *****ed about everything that changed since the vanilla release and all the expensive hats.

Luck or money. :F Gravelpit is a great map for most classes, they all shine somewhere on it.

The server I frequent detests F2Ps. I'm an F2P myself, but hey, they can't complain about me. I do need to go premium though, I need more backpack space. Perhaps I'll do that next year...

I'm still learning the ropes of being a Scout...any tips? lol
Lower sensitivity. Use scattergun and pistol. Don't aim with your mouse, aim with your movement. It'll make you more unpredictable. Ambush then meatshot.
    ???
    profit!!!

Not much different. In the first month of so there were a lot of noobs populating the server, so it was easy to steamroll your way to a massive killstreak ( 90 kills as Solly. :D), but that sort of died down. The good ones stayed. Most of the people that still complain do so for something to winge about. Just as Zet alluded to with the hats comparison. :D

While Wumbology covered it pretty well, there's a few more things I could add (remember I'm not a Scout main, so take it with a grain of salt).

You can't win many fights head-on. Use your speed to sneak up behind an enemy. Hit and run if necessary. Just to nitpick, when Wumbology mentioned "ambush", that doesn't mean corner the enemy. That works against your speed as there's only one way you can come from.

Know your way to health (that isn't always taken :P) or water at all times. With 125, you CANNOT afford to stay burning for long. And stay out of the field of view of Snipers unless you're close enough to hit them.

In addition to a comfortable sensitivity (I play at 1000 DPI with default Windows&Source settings, 500 DPI as Sniper) you want to do two things. The first is to get a good mouse. If it's not focused on gaming, don't bother. I don't mean to sound Elitist, but non-gaming mice are laggy and imprecise. Wireless are worse. Also turn OFF mouse acceleration. That's "enhance pointer precision" in the Windows mouse settings, below the pointer speed slider.

I didn't mind it too much, but I only started playing after a couple of updates were released. People were friendly, there were good servers around that had good players on it.

But once TF2 became F2P, everyone did become a whole lot worse at the game on average, and honestly, the Mannconomy update really didn't help either. Many of my favourite servers have completely died now unfortunately, as people moved on to different games.

This is coming from someone who has spent way too much time and money on TF2.

I downloaded steam just for this game. People were saying I was missing since I love counter strike and when I played it, it was very very addicting!
