In this map, I'd actually prefer the first one.

But then again, I could switch the one floor red house, and the twofloor blue house.

It seems that it didn't make the ips file right
To make an ips file follow these steps:

1)Open Lunar IPS
2)Click "Creat IPS Patch"
3)Chose an original none edit FR rom
4)Now chose the rom that has been edit.
5)Send me the IPS ^_^

Even though i am not a fan of the scaterous trees, i think its pretty decent, the mountains need a lil work, and like people have said before, why have a beach if you cant access it.
The lake- I think its an orginal idea, not used alot, but hmmm.
I think the spacing/walking paths need work.
Also pep im pretty sure you know how to do tree shading <.<
The mountains on the right side are to straight compared to its left counter parts. I see there is allot of ideas and orginality in this map, and has potential.

Why have a beach?
I could have made a cliff, but this looks more natural, otherwise you can easily make the beach sea. The whole point is, this is my solution to border errors, and it looks nice, doesn't it?
As for scatterous trees, that's just an opinion. I believe one of my route maps got rejected by a team because I put my trees in groups, which of course, never happens in nature. :/
In this map, which is close to a forest, I thought it could look good, and, in my opinion, it does.

You are right about the walking paths, but after playing the games I found out they don't matter that much in my opinion. Nobody ever walks straight on the paths.
As for this map, I made the paths in the end, so I didn't want to mess up the building pattern again.

As for now, Pep can do the improvements, he's got the map.

Oh, and btw, thanks for seeing the potential, I'll take that as a compliment.

Crossroads: the way to the west is blocked (we'll fit that in with the storyline) only way to go is to the right.
I think this is the best solution. In that case there will be 3 different maps: crossroads, the route to the left, and the route to the right.
I'll check whenever I have time to make it.

o.O are you a mind reader(?) lol. Cuz thats exactly how the story goes xD the route to the left is blocked off for now lol.
Oh and also the city (blue square) don't worry about making it acceable because I'm just going to have a script there that doesn't allow you to enter until you complete something.

@Everyone, the scripter of the team will be back soon but just so you know the first even is all written out and ready to be scripted ^_^ and the first beta should be released after the first town is scripted because that's where our first event will happen :D
 
Diho make sure to patch a clean rom with this IPS then start on the map.
(Leave map 3.69 alone because I'm working on a map there ^_^)
 
Okay, I removed the tile errors from my old map, and I added three Hidden Items:
Nugget at 11, 09: only able to reach when surfing.
A potion next to the player's home.
A persim berry next to the prof's lab.

And we should add the signposts.

The other map's in progress.
