Past experience:I love playing pokemon games and i'm good at noting bugs and glitches in games, me and a group of friends used to create pokemon hacks, but i'm always the beta tester due to my sharp eyes on things.
And also, i'm great at mapping.

The hack is friggin' funny! Some spelling mistakes and grammar errors don't ruin it. In the first village, is it intentional that your neighbor's house is half blue and half red? And that your Rival's OW sprite is a triangle? Some tile errors are spotted, but not super many. Interesting music choices, by the way. Some places you can't go through even though you should be able to, and some places you can go through even though you shouldn't be able to. When I click my trainer card, the ROM resets. Also, the ears of the Hero OW is gone on the down standing sprite. Other than that, it's great.

You could just make a random map and show it to me, and I'll decide if you're in.

Hey, I didn't notice that! It's fixed now.

And what's so ungodly about the CSS? You'd prefer a different one? I'm terribly sorry, but I don't know living poop about CSS. GavZ made it using my instructions, and it looks fine to me. Maybe you're just you know, godly?

And does a CSS judge a hack? Of course it doesn't. Just sayin'.

Well, apply if you want, I'm not you, but it would be nice.

Mapper(s), you can start planning (not mapping) the first map in the game. You can start mapping when Fan King is ready with the tiles. It's supposed a southern edge of the Lower City, where it's pretty narrow and raining heavily (lightning). Use your imagination. There's supposed to be a pretty big building where you escape from, and some other random buildings. Once again, imagination, my friend.

Oh shi...I was supposed to be coming up with new ideas? Uh...I'm gonna need more time with that...damn Shin Megami Tensei and Knights in the Nightmare for taking up all my time. And please people, let's not fight here. We can all be civil and...ah to hell with it! *Throws a chair out the window* Civility=FAIL! You know you've got a real team going when people are fighting about who gets in.

Sorry I haven't been that active lately. I've been at jazz camp

I vote against the new mapper. His map is very patterned, bunched up, and is full of tile errors(bushes rounding the house, fence posts, lab windows and the brown stone path leading out of the building. :\)

also the flowers in front of the house are a little unnatural. also The light green grass behind the house. I know thery're part of the tiles, but have you heard of something called the block editor? I'm sure you have, due to the pallette edited house.

obviously, he dosen't know what he's doing

and the little bush bump thingamigies. You just don't do that. all it is is a row and looks like a block.

well there's my thoughts.
 
I realize you didn't ask for it specifically, but I'm applying mainly as a concept designer. Every good hack needs one. Otherwise it is nothing more than an repitition of past games. Here's my resume:

People, please post your proofs in either a PM, or in the actual application. Please at least put links to your hacks or the ones you've worked with. I can't accept anyone without visible proof.

ZaneZalen, the banners are excellent. If all else fails, you're in as a banner maker (although we have a ton of banners already).

I'm also going to have to agree with Fan King to some point, it looks too patterned. You could make another map, but this one should all original (since that one was obviously from Pallet Town). Start a blank map, and let your imagination flow. You don't have to, but it would seem more original.

Korronensu, I'll PM you for proof. EDIT: You're in.

Lucario2009, visible proof, please or at least a link to your hack. And yeah, get those 15 posts.
