hey you map pretty good for a beginner mapper, im kinda new at mapping as well so i need stuff to learn, but if you have any questions about how to make your mapping skills improve and stuff, vm me, you can map for jabberjabber since i wont be able to help him with mapping that much anymore.

I need someone to make a cave completely from scratch and put a level 40 regirock sprite it there... any takers?
 
its good but we dont need fakemon yet... maybe in the next hack it could be useful keep learning..?

@jabber, Well in that case, looks like I'm in! And I could take a shot at that cave, I'm not sure how to insert sprites yet, and like I said above, I'm still trying to get the hang of events (more of the script part..), but yeah, I can give it a try...
 
Dont worry about it inserting sprites is completely new to me to... thats why i asked someone lse to do it... ( :
Oo by the way do you have skype i am trying to get everyone on there..

& were you saying to not worry about the map or just the inserting part??
 
Alright, sounds good. Uhh, how many levels is this cave supposed to be?
& would MSN be be sufficient?
 
Im mostly on skype but msn would do, the cave can have as many levels as you want
 
Alright, well my computer is acting up and I just had to save the map and exit Advance Map so I could restart my computer. Now when I try to open the map back up it says [EAaccess]access violation(or something like that), and I can't access the map.. You have any ideas on what I did wrong?
 
try reloadig the program...cloase a-map, open it again, and try it, if id didn't work, well you have a rpob, cause i have heard of roms crahinginstantly and perminantly like that, hope you guys have backups...
 
I don't know what the problem was, but I went ahead and just made a new one.. I'm not sure if it's what your looking for exactly, but it's about all I can manage for the time being.. Personally, I think it's alright... not as many tile errors lol I'm not very good at caves, but doing this I got a lot better, this one looks way better than the first..
Oh, and the little white thing; I was thinking that could be little poke ball (item or whatever)

P.S. Doesn't the body of water kind of look like the "F" from Famous Stars and Straps? lol

Just stopping by and giving my input on this map, you have A LOT of tile errors, look closely near the openings in the cave (the entrance and exits). I'd go back and check this map over very carefully, you need to be more cafefull when mapping, your map has way to many tile errors to be even considered decent.
 
Thanks. I think I just need to play with with it a bit more, whatever I try, the entrance and exit still look a bit off.. I just need to hit up the tuts
