Team Rumble Rock

Alrighty, here's the second town... I started it from a whole new map and was tinkering with it all day yesterday, and I would have to say I think I did pretty good job compared to the original ;P Anyway, here it is; please share feedback..

This map is a whole heap better than the last on however there are still some minor problems first of the house in the south east corner has tile errors on the entrance, as does the mart and path to the gym. the widths of the paths vary (try and keep them the same in city's) and the final little problem is you cant reach that bridge without the use of surf...

right well you do that I am going to go read some tut's on changing map borders because as of now I am useless at it and your map will take a lot of border changes.. (:

Keep up the good work, your showing loads of improvement!
 
well i do enjoy the map its quite original and the bridge well here are some uses

first you could try make it so its accesible from that house
there could be a rare item there so you can only get it when you obtain surf

That was my original idea, to have a rare item in the fisherman's backyard.. that couldn't be accessed the first time you go through the town, you would have to come back once the hero obtained surf..
& As far as the border, I'm not too sure what you mean... If you want them all level and exact I can fix it, I made them that way, so they appeared more natural and wild, guess not though ;P
 
haha ohk dont judge these and i know theres alot of errors that need fixing but these are tiles form like platnium or HG SS and those modified by me for firered a generally put them in my game and just wanted to show you guys ohk ja

hmm, it is good that you make from a new map, but like what it is said, there will be border problems because, the corner of the maps is not equal, when in-game there will be border problems..
and also that water thing you were planning to use surf on is bad idea,
Come on, what kind of town has the water like that which only connect to a certain backyard??
your idea is there, but to be honest it looks bad, it just not only take up space it looks bad as well..
the mountain is too straight, make it look more natural, add more trees..etc.
and a ledge infront of a house??
and why is there rocks on the backyard when the mountain is far away while the other areas do not have rocks?
i think you have improve but could do better..:)

I do get what your saying about the looks of the water, but I really don't see the big deal about it only accessing the the "fisherman's" house, but I'll take your word on it...
As far as the other things, I'll work on those..
I really appreciate your feedback Crimson, you've given me some of the best feedback thus far.
 
Well this is the rock legend, i scratched the "Legendary dog" thing

edit: This is only in like v.0.5
i will make it better later on
 
The fakemon looks good but i was thinking about this and wasn't there a rock fire type on one of the later gens...? could we not use that?
 
jabber what do you need done with the titlescreen i may beable to do it if you want
 
Something in a style similar to the banner in my sig be creative but make sure it says pokemon rumble rock instead of fire red...

I have been having massive problems with route 12, just can't think what to do with it...

ohk title screen i can do the heatran as you saw xD
and im getting the background witch is a cave with
a heatran sticking out of it if you want somthing
better then you must get it for me :) oh and ill need
the file or somthing to work with so ill need that game
soon so i can edit the stuff in it will take me about a day
so its not too long but the best day well i donna when
so ill speak to you on skype about it later

We have a story!
You are a young boy/girl that just had their 15th birthday. Finally proff oak gives you your first pokemon! and asks you to find out how the pokemon of hoenn are getting into kanto. You choose your first starter and battle your rival to test 'em out. But, while you start out on your Pokémon journey through the kanto region, a dark secret is about, the notorious team Rumble rock know that heatran has come to kanto from sinnoh and are hunting him down to create landslides and destroy the world as we know it! And guess what?! You're somehow involved in all this mess, and you also encounter some famous trainer, along the way. Finally when you have all but deafeated team rumble rock and stoped there evil plan your rival "ace" that you first met just outside pallet town, turns out to be there leader!
Story to be continued...

Does any one fancy making a sprite for the new rival "ace"?
