Teen Heroes [PG-16]

Joey walked with her back to the class. He wondered if he could get away with holding her hand yet. Probably not. That would wait until after the movie. He shot a happy grin at Scott, the only one he knew in the class at the time. He took a seat next to Ashley. She was texting someone, but Joey couldn't see who it was or what she was saying. The teacher introduced herself for what must have been the millionth time today. He was surprised to learn that Beth was the principle of the school. That would explain why there was no one here. She then made a Joey clone. The two Joey's grinned at each other.
"That's wicked!" they said in unison before they were reunited. Joey stood up.

"That was pretty cool, Ms. Beth! I have a question. Is the only purpose of this school for people with powers like ours to come and master them? Because I don't think I've seen a student without powers and I know I haven't seen another teacher at all! Oh, and I'm Joey, and I have pryokinesis!" Joey said as he created a fireball in the air and made it whirl around him as a demonstration, then let it fade. He knew he could get in trouble, but he had to know the truth, and calling her out on the issue seemed to be the best option.
 
Ashley saw surprised to see two Joeys. "Wow. I've never seen anything like that!" Ashley thought. She heard the two Joeys both say "That's wicked!" together. Ashley giggled. The two Joeys grinned at each other. Ashley made a cute giggle, then listened to what the teacher had to say. "The teacher has a really cool power! I wonder if she could Duplicate the school." Ashley thought. "That would be cool." Ashley looked around for Lilly in the class room, but Lilly was no where to be found. Ashley loked at her watch. It was 2:30. Class should start, but the teacher said to wait until everyone came. Then Ashley heard Joey ask a question. He said "That was pretty cool, Ms. Beth! I have a question. Is the only purpose of this school for people with powers like ours to come and master them? Because I don't think I've seen a student without powers and I know I haven't seen another teacher at all! Oh, and I'm Joey, and I have pryokinesis!" Joey started to wave a fireball in the air. Ashley wa amzed by Joey's power. She was proud of him as well.

Bethany laughed when both Joeys said the same thing together. She saw him waving a fireball in the air after he had asked "That was pretty cool, Ms. Beth! I have a question. Is the only purpose of this school for people with powers like ours to come and master them? Because I don't think I've seen a student without powers and I know I haven't seen another teacher at all! Oh, and I'm Joey, and I have pryokinesis!" Bethany was surprised to see Joey ask that. It's not everyday you hear that. "Very good, Joey. Now, about the question. Yes, you are right. That is the whole purpose of this school. It's to help you and the other students master their powers and become 'Teen Heros'. That's why this college is called Teen Heros University. I would explain more to you, but we'll have to go on with the class. Oh, and the reason you're not seeing many teachers around is because I'm the only teacher here. It's hard to find people exposed to super powers to come and teach. That's why I teach every class. We hope to get more teachers soon." Bethany replied. "Now, on with the class. Here's how it works: we start out by focusing on one student's powers at a time, and we help them learn how to control it. We might even split you up into pairs so you can train with one another. Then, we will set up for practice tomorrow, once I leaarn all of your powers. That way, you may have a specific training activity for your power. Now, who wants to go first?" Bethany said with a smile.
 
Scott chuckled slightly after Joey left. He was a pretty cool kid from what Scott could tell. He gave Joey a brief wave when he left and decided to get as comfortable as possible. Not 5 minutes after Joey had left, the teacher came in, as well as an influx of students. Scott watched in awe as she cloned herself, and then Joey. That was truly an amazing power, the possibilities were endless. Imagine cloning your strangest warriors so that you have multiple of each! True her powers would be more of a supportive type, but Scott could see how it would be useful in standard combat. Imagine cloning yourself and always knowing where every punch is going to land for each clone. You could defeat anyone!

Scott listened to Joey's question and nodded along with it. He had similar questions, but they could wait. He watched Joey show off his powers and nodded towards Lillin. Hi directed his thoughts towards her.

"If we try to merge again, will it hurt as much?"

Not at all. Once a bond has been made, your body remembers it. It will only hurt the first time.

Scott nodded. "On my cue, merge with me. "

With that, Scott stood up and walked next to Joey. Lillin followed suit. He gave a brief wave to the class and to miss Bethany.

"I figured I'd introduce myself too. I'm Scott, and my power is…unique. I don't really have direct control over my power, So I want to try and get it mastered. May I go first Miss Beth?"
 
Lilly turned at Timmy as he said, Um, I-I still haven't gotten your phone number...can I have your number now?
"Well, i think were already late for power control, how bout after Gym k"replied Lilly.
Lilly took his hand and pulled him with her as she started to run to Power control class.
Later, Lilly and Timmy made it, Lilly opened the door, "Hi ms.Beth sorry were late"said Lilly exhausted.
Lilly looked around and saw Ashley waving at her, Lilly went over to Ashley still holding Timmy.
"Hey Ashley"whispered Lilly, Lilly turned her head to Timmy,"Why don't you sit here, next to me"said Lilly.
Lilly sat down next to Ashley and Timmy,"Excuse me miss.Bethany, what were we learning?"asked Lilly politely.
 
'I guess I can still wait.' He though, but his thought were interrupted when Lilly took her to class. Their were some very interesting students here, but hopefully he wouldn't be the number 1 weakling soon.

Timmy recognized the girl Lilly was talking to as she sat down. Ashley was it? Yeah, that was it. As instructed, he took a seat by Lilly, a little nervous of the class now. Once class is over, he'll apoligize to Ashley for being so weird...although he's not that good at talking to strangers.

(OCC: Guys, I agree. I really think we should minimize the amount of posts and instead work on making better, quality posts. It's just going way too fast. Perhaps we can use a turn based system with this RP? I'm starting school around next week and it's probably the only reason why I can keep up with the RP, but even with that, it's still hard. Sorry for the long OCC.)

Ulric closed his english book, still baffled by the thought of not being able to comprehend the quote. It bothered him in so many ways, but at the same time it gave him a reason to read. He gazed at the round, white clock over the door, "2:35..." he was late for power control class. Normally he would be worried, but he figured there would probably be no one in the class anyway. He exited the room when two teens were running in the hallway; a boy, and a girl whom was dragging him. Ulric felt bad for him, barely keeping up to the girl, he was practically sliding on the floor, but then this made Ulric think about their reasons. They were the second pair of students he had seen, other than that midget from before and his pack of followers, and as an after thought, he remembered about the two odd students who have entered english class earlier in the day; the one with flaming arms and the other anonymous person who followed him. After a moment pondering and chewing over the thought, he came to the conclusion that they were late for class as well, meaning that perhaps, this time, the room wouldn't be empty.

Ulric re-entered english class to get another glance of the time, it was 2:38. The thought of being late to perhaps, the most important class of the day made him loose his cool a bit and because of it, his sound barrier broke. The room was soon filled with what a normal person would call 'quiet'; birds chirping outside, the sound of branches dancing with the sibilant winds of the outdoors and intruded the room through the smallest cracks, the footsteps of those two teens who ran past him only a few seconds ago, even the 'silence' felt as noise, and finally, the ticking of the white clock over the entrance door, which reminded him all over again that he was late. Ulric exited english class for the last time and the 'silence' was soon invaded by footsteps.

Ray had fallen asleep at lunch time and woke up, startled by an odd dream that he had. He wiped the drool off of his face and looked at his watch. It was 2:38. He thought, (Crap! I'm late for Power Control!) He grabbed his board and ran out of the lunchroom. He began skating as fast as he can through the halls. He then almost crashed into some boy that was being dragged by some girl that he didn't know. He sharply turned around them. He eventually made it to the power control room and Saw no one in there. He sighed heavily and continued skateboarding down the halls.

(OOC: Sorry about not posting in a while, I had an emergency to take care of.)
 
Tyrant entered the Power Control class without a single word, looking around, and taking a seat away from everybody else. "Control...my powers? That's as impossible as remaking the entire galaxy. My powers are firey and destructive. Yet...I can already control my powers. Well...except for that one time when I was really angry, and burned down an entire forest while fully transformed. People knew the fire wasn't natural. They never found out who did it. But...if I have control of my powers...why did I even take this class?" Tyrant thought.
 
(OOC: I'm kind of with you on that one, but it's kind of hard to make long posts when everyone and their brother is talking to your character. lol XD)

Age: Unknown, though he says he's 26

Appearence: Kyle looks like a 12 year old boy. He is relatively short and has pure white hair that he keeps cut at shoulder length. His eyes are a very light gray color. He has a very pale complexion and is slightly skinny. People have thought he was unhealthy, but he isn't. He wears a pair of black slacks and a white T-shirt. There is a gold watch on his wrist.

Personality: Kyle is very rigid. He is a strct person, and his most hated problem is lateness. He is also slightly vain and very sensetive about his age. He uses his powers freely, and has decided to apply to become a teacher at the school. He views the world as a thing to be set right, and he has little humor. But he cares deeply for the students he hopes to be teaching soon.

History: Kyle was born in Maine as a normal baby. This was 15 years from now. It was soon discovered that he was very sickly, and he missed a lot of school. But that didn't slow him down. Often considered a child prodigy, Kyle was reading at a third grade level by the time he was four. At the age of nine, he graduated from highscool. Things were going well for the frail boy, until he turned 12.

When Kyle turned 12 his powers manifested themselves in the worst way possible. They froze time at the college he was giving a presentation in. He didn't notice until he was done. By them his appearence had changed to what it was now. Time resumed when he finished, and the people he had frozen had assumed nothing had happened. Kyle was so shocked that they sent him away. He did a few tests on his own and discovered his powers. He then did a little research and found THU. He went there and learned how to control his powers and traveled 15 years into the past where he would be able to pass on his knowledge as a teacher.

I hope my second character is ok!
 
While skateboarding, Ray looked at his watch as noticed that a few more minutes have passed from the time that he went to the power control class. (Maybe there's people there now?) He thought to himself.

He made an extremely sharp turn and went back to the class and saw a few more people there. He walked in and sat at the back of the classroom and took a seat in the back row. He looked around and didn't notice any familiar faces, so he took off his hat and took a nap.
 
(OCC: I aggree with slowing down actually..We are on vacation and Im trying to keep up but its getting harder...maybe we just need to slow down a bit)
''They are going to make us show our powers at first I think...Thats the problem for me...I cant perform my power just like that!'' Alex said.Someone or something needed to run towards him or attack him.Alex was nerveous.He looked at Tyrant but he couldnt get help from him either.When he steps up,it was going to be bad.

Ashley saw more and more students come in, until Lilly came in dragging her room-mate by the hand. Ashley waved at them with a friendly smile. Ashley heard Lilly whisper "Hi, Ashley." Ashley replied "Hi, Lilly! Glad you made it." Ashley heard Lilly say something to her room-mate, but Ashley couldn't make it out. Then Lilly said "Excuse me, Ms. Beth, what will we be learning today?" Ashley knew that when Lilly heard the answer, she'd be excited.

Bethany replied to Scott saying "Yes, you may. Hi Scott, what's your power?" Bethany said. Then Bethany saw Scott's shadow follow him in a strange way. Bethany saw that the shadow had horns. Bethany knew what power he had. Then, students came rushing in. One of them was dragging a boy by the hand. She asked Bethany "Excuse me, Ms. Beth, what will we be learning today?" "Today we will be focusing on you and your powers. We will be focusing on one student at a time. First is Scott. He's going to show us his power, and we are going to help him learn how to control it. Then it moves on to the next student. After we get done with that, I will pair you up into groups and you will practice your power with your partner." Bethany replied. "Now, Scott, go ahead" Bethany told Scott with a smile.
 
Ray began to stir from the ruckus around him and he slowly got up. He saw a teacher talking to some that she calls "Scott". Ray rubbed his eyes and sat back in the chair. He didn't really want to admit it, but he was actually very excited to see the powers of the people around him.

(Maybe understanding the powers of other people can help me get a good grip on my own, or something like that.....) Ray thought to himself. He put his hat on and focused on Scott.
 
A student called Scott was going first.Alex looked at him and noticed his shadow.It had horns.Alex looked at the teacher.It looked like she noticed it too.Alex didnt know the other students power but he took a step back.''Just in case..''Alex said quietly.Alex then took a quick look around.He knew Joey's power.He was not sure about Tyrant but he knew it was something related to fire.Alex knew one more students power.A girl.Alex remembered that they were calling her ''Lily''.''She can turn invisible..intresting...''Alex said quietly.
 
Scott nodded in Miss Bethany's direction.

"Well, My power isn't exactly controlled by my conscious mind as far as I can tell. My mind creates these 'beings' called Guardians who give me their strength. For example, Lillin."

Lillin rose from Scott's shadow and nodded to the rest of the class. She melted back into a shadow, ready to begin the merging process.

"Now Lillin!"

For the second time today Scott's shadow crept up his legs. They slowly coated his whole body before moving towards his heart. The shadow entered his chest once more and this time, instead of feeling pain, he felt energy flow through his veins. He closed his eyes and opened them, and once again they were pitch black with red pupils. The mist began to seep from his pores.

Scott began to speak, and his voice sounded scratchy an deep.

"This is me when I'm bonded with Lillin. I haven't had any time to experiment, so I'm not sure what I can do. That's really why I need this class."
 
Ray began to stare at Scott, almost as if in a trance.

(So looks like his powers are cooler than mine.
Well, whatever.) He thought to himself.
He sighed and Raised his hand While asking Ms. Bethany,

"um, Do all of us have to demonstrate out powers?"
 
Well things are getting interesting. Scott is something else! But pretty soon he would have 2 show his power too. He didn't like that idea, especially in front of a class.

Maybe it's time to introduce himself to Ashley while there's still time. "Hi." Was all Timmy said to her before turning his attention back to Scott.

Scott seems to have so many surprises! 'Should I go last?' Thought Timmy. '...Yeah, I should.'
 
Ashley was amzed to see such a power that Scott had. It was way cool. Ashley wondered if it hurt at all. It wouldn't hurt to ask, now would it? Ashley raised her hand. The teacher said "Yes?" Ashley replied saying "May I ask Scott a question?" "It's fine with me." The teacher said. "Thank you. Scott, does it hurt to transform into one of your Gardians?" Ashley asked Scott. Ashley heard Lilly's room-mate say "Hi" to Ashley. "Hi." Ashley said back to him. She turned her focus to Scott, "I wonder what other Gaurdians he has with him..." Ashley thought to herself.

Bethany heard Scott say "This is me when I'm bonded with Lillin. I haven't had any time to experiment, so I'm not sure what I can do. That's really why I need this class." "We are happy to have you. I will do the best to help you train to master your powers. What your capable of doing now is very good. But don't try to use them a lot until you have your powers trained a bit." Bethany said with a big smile. "You may return to your seat. Thank you. Now who's next?" Bethany asked.
 
Joey

Joey leaned back in his chair watching the students show their powers. He was very happy that he was here sitting next to Ashley. He couldn't wait for their date! He was going to have so much fun! He got a little worried when he smelled smoke coming from his hands. He was losing control and he needed it to get back. He clenched his hands and felt the flames that had grown on his fingers and they went away. It seemed that if he got too excited or something that he lost control. That was interesting.

Kyle

Time froze and everything took on a gray color. A little boy got to his feet and dusted his clothing off. He snapped his fingers and time resumed it's normal flow. He sat down in a chair and awaited the principle. He checked his watch. His appointment was going to be soon. He bacame irritated.
"You, receptionist lady, where is Bethany?" he asked.
"That's Ms. Bethany to you kid!" the lady replied with a smile. Kyle blanched. He froze time again and yelled all sorts of vile things at the dumb woman. He calmed down and time resumed flowing again. He smiled up at her.
"My name is Kyle Gunnard. I haver an appointment with her soon. Go, fetch her for me," he said. She frowned at him.
"She's in class right now. If you-" she began, but Kyle wasn't interested in her excuses. He climbed up on her lap, and looked through her papers. Time was going to resume soon, but he found what he was looking for. She was in the power control classroom. He jumped down to the ground and walked out of the room as time resumed flowing again. He walked down the hall and found the room he was looking for. He opened the door and froze time again. Everyoen had turned to look at him.

"Hello Bethany. My name is Kyle Gunnard. We have an appointment... Crap, I forgot to unfreeze her!" Kyle said. He unfroze her and waited as she looked around.
"Now, to begin again. Hello Bethany. My name is Kyle Gunnard. We have an appointment today, and you are late for it. Ahah, as you can see, time is very important to me. I have come a very long way to teach here. If you have time, would you perhaps keep our appointment?" Kyle said.

(OOC: Everyone else is unaware of what Kyle is doing. Just carry on as though nothing happened please. Time resumes normal flow when Kyle leaves the room, which will be as soon as he hears Bethany's answer.)

"Wow Scott has a awsome power, i would love it, although my voice will change....... Il stick to Invisibility(not that i have a choice)"thought Lilly.
Lilly looked over at Ashley and saw her looking at Scott, then she turned to Timmy and he was looking a Scott too.
"Oh, I cant wait to go, the whole class will see me!!!!, oh and my power of course"thought Lilly, she started to fan herself with her hands in excitement and then kept looking at Scott.
Lilly figured he had finished now and called out, "I wana go!"shouted Lilly standing up.
