Teen Heroes [PG-16]

William smiled at Timmy, and took off his shades and asked him, "You like invisibility girl, don't you? I can tell, by the way you were looking at her the whole class." William laughed. "Here, take this as a token of friendship, it'll get a good conversation going on, won't it?" He handed a shiny little jewel to Timmy...One of her boots' Diamonds! "It fell off during Ulric's presentation, when the school shook."
William looked at his watch, and said "I've got Gym now, plus help out that other guy." He smiled, and handed Timmy a picture he took earlier too, it was a picture of Lilly around the sparkles from Timmy's presentation. "Took it earlier." He said, pointing at his camera. "Well, gotta go, later!" He said, jumping into a portal and appearing in front of the Gym. He then opened up another portal in front of the electricity box for the gym, he opened it, and memorized how it looks, he then walked inside the gym, "When you want me to cut the power, give me a signal." He said loudly, entering the gym, he knew Tyrant had to be there, otherwise, why else would he?
"I'm getting tired from all this portal opening..." William thought, taking off his jacket, and heading to the changing rooms.
He saw Joey stretching, "Yo!" He waved smiling.

Joey

Joey shot another basket. This was a piece of cake. He wondered when the teacher would get here. Or if there even was one at all. William walked in and shouted something about cutting the power.
"Cutting the power? Why would you do that? You think it would be funny to scare everyone?" Joey asked with a grin. His sense of mischief was coming back, because without someone to play against, he was getting bored, which was the prime time for him to get in trouble.
 
This surprised Timmy a lot. William had given him a diamond from Lilly's boots & a picture of her after Timmy's flash. He was speechless. William had left for gym class, leaving Timmy standing alone. He was filled with happiness inside, never expecting he would get this stuff.

'I will treasure this as long as I live.' He though as he walked towards his dorm to find his empty box. He put the diamond & picture inside the box, hearts in his eyes thinking of Lilly. William really wanted to be his friend. 'Looks like he'll be my best friend.'

In 1 hour would be Art class, so Timmy put his new treasured box in a hiding place & set a timer on his cell phone to ring in 1 hour. Time to take a nap. He rested on his bed & hoped he would dream about Lilly.

William stared at Joey. "Oh, that?" He smiled. "Ty...Tyler...no...Tyrant needed a favor, so I'm helping him out." William took off his shades, and stared at Joey with a smile. "How bad can it be? We're all adults here, right?"
William walked towards Ashley and Lilly, asking them, since they and Joey were the only people there. "You guys aren't scared of the dark right?" He smiled, "Everyone is afraid of something, I'm dead scared of Bridges and Bears and Heights, ......and labs." This last fear he muttered. "Anyways, are you guys scared of the dark?" He smiled again.
 
Power Control was over and everyone commenced conversations:

"…wanna help me with a little plan I have?" "I-I'm sorry…" "I don't mind helping…" "…BEARS." "You like them all?" "Not the midget that for sure!" "…cut the power in the gym…" "…I hope your ready for tonight!" "So what do you wanna talk about?" "Yeah Scott and Joey are cute" "You like invisibility girl, don't you?" "…You think it would be funny to scare everyone?"

Ulric was laying on a wall near gym class, listening to music on his black headphones. He should've been exercising, but apparently someone was going to pull off a prank. He thought he'd rather be a spectator, rather than the pranked. "Tyrant needed a favor, so I'm helping him out." a laugh escaped Ulric as he heard this, "The prank doesn't work if people are expecting it..." and as he thought it, he realized he accidentally laughed, but this laugh was normal, it didn't rock the school; which reminded him of his last class, Power Control. To be honest, it was the most fun he had all day, even though he didn't really say much; but the diversity of people, their powers, their personalities and their thoughts, it was all intriguing to him. "Try to make the noise just the volume you want them to be." that's what Ms.Bethany had told him. Ulric was a bit disappointed with the assignment, it was too... plain; even so, it was exactly what he needed to practice. The truth is... the teacher can't really teach you anything, they just give you the materials; in the end, you're always going to be your own teacher.

"But that's the problem... where should I train my voice?" not even a foam room could contain his super sonic screams; and he knew that. Training his powers would put the whole school in danger, so he has to train in a distant place, and train using his lowest method, snaps. "Alright, my first goal is to produce a normal, harmless snap." he thought.

Ashley giggled at Lilly's reply. "Thanks." Ashley said with a smile. "So, who are you intrested in?" Ashley asked Lilly. "I think that guy named Timmy really likes you. And I mean really likes-likes you." Ashley replied with a laugh. She heard someone say something about cutting the power to the Gym. "Did you hear that? Somebody said something about cutting the power in Gym..." Ashley said to Lilly. Ashley turned and saw William talking to Joey. Next thing Ashley knew, William was over by Timmy gibing him what looked like a picture and a diamond. "Where did he get a diamond...? "Lilly's boots!" Ashley thought. "Hey Lilly, is that a diamond from your boots?" Ashley asked Lilly while pointing to Timmy and William. "Oh my gosh! He's gonna give it to Lilly!" Ashley thought. "Better not spoil it..." Ashley thought. "Actually, never mind, it was just my mind." Ashley said. William came over to talk. He said "You guys aren't scared of the dark right?" "No, of course not." Ashley replied. William contnued. "Everyone is afraid of something, I'm dead scared of Bridges and Bears and Heights, ......and labs." "Oh..." Ashley replied. William finished talking and went to Gym. "Let's go to Gym." Ashley said as she walked to Gym with Lilly.

Bethany went by the principal's office to see Kyle Gunnard. She opened the door and saw Kyle sitting down on the little leather bench by the wall to the left of the door. "Sorry it took me a while, Mr Kyle, I had to teach the classes. I don't have much time before Gym, so I'll have to cut Gym short and come back here. My apologizes, Mr Kyle. Thank you for waiting." Bethany said. Bethany left the office and headed torwards Gym, with her whistle hanging from her neck. She got to Gym class, and waited for everyone to group together. "Attention, everyone!" Bethany said as she blew her whistle. "Our Gym class isn't like regular Gym. It's a lot more fun. We get to use our powers. We have phisical Gym first, and then we train using our powers. How does that sound?" Bethany asked. She heard one of the kids in the crowd yell "Awesome!". "We are going to do a few warm-ups first." Bethany said. Gym continued.

(OOC: @Chef30: Doesn't Bethany have the ability to multiply? She shouldn't have to make Kyle wait so much, just make part of her give class while the other attends Kyle. That's what I think anyway, but do what you like.. xP)
 
Joey

Joey smiled as he heard that they would be using powers later. He did the warm ups as instructed. No big deal, he was used to this kind of stuff. He hoped that he would be doing something fun soon. He waited for the power to be cut. He wondered what was going to happen when that happened.

Kyle

Kyle sat and waited. Finally, Bethany came back. She said she was sorry and grabbed a whistle and walked out. He had had it up to here with waiting! He was supposed to be hired already! He froze the room before she walked out. He walked over in front of her and stood calmly. Then he spoke to her, even though she was frozen and wouldn't hear him.
"Ms. Beth. I appreciate that you are a very busy woman. But I have one complaint. You are taking too long! My appointment was two hours ago! You simply do not keep someone waiting that long! Gah... What's the use. If I said this to you and you could hear me, I'd never get the job," Kyle said. he walked back to his old seat and sat down. He unfroze the room and she walked out without another word. Kyle sighed and leaned back. He shook his head. This was crazyness! He'd have to go back in time just to teach his class today!
 
(Ooc: You're right... Oh dear, I've forgotten about my own power! By the way, I think I'm going to make an Ooc thread for this soon...)

Bethany decided to make a dupliation of herself to take care of Gym. Bethany ran to the principal's office where Kyle was, leaving her duplication to do Gym for her. She got to the office and sat down in her chair, and looked over Kyle's aplication. "Sorry, I was just so busy that I forgot about my own power to duplicate myself. The duplication is teaching Gym class, so I've got al the time I need with you until Art." Bethany said. Bethany looked over the aplication. She noticed the college he had put on the aplication. "Mr. Kyle, I don't seem to reconize the college you have put on your aplication. Could you explain to me please?" Bethany asked. She read the rest of the paper while waiting for a response from Kyle.

Bethany #2

The second Bethany was back at the Gym, teaching the class how to do the warm-ups. "All right, we are now finished with the warm-ups. Now we are going to do some work-outs. And I mean with our powers." Bethany said. "I am pairing you all up for a power exercise. First is Ashley and Joey. Next is William and Lilly. Next is Timmy and Scott. Next is Alex and Tyrant. And last but not least, Urlic and Mike." Bethany told everyone. "You must figure out how to train with each other. You must also figure out a skit to do in front of the whole class." Bethany said. "You've got 30 minutes... Starting... Now!" Bethany said to the class.

When Ashley heard who she was paired up with, she felt like she was going to jump through the roof. In a good way. She went over to Joey and said "Can you believe we've been paired with each other, Joey? This is awesome!" Ashley said. "I've already thought of ways to train together." Ashley told Joey. "We can train with each other by you throwing fireballs at me, and I'll use my Telekinesis to fire it back at you, and so on. What do you think?" Ashley asked. "And as far as the skit... I'm not real sure. Do you have any ideas?" Ashley asked Joey.

(By the way, Mike is the midget guy. That's his name for now I guess.)

"Really? ya think? well it would ex-plane the drooling and the weird talking and the randomly asking for my phone number"replied Lilly.
Ashley looked away and heard something, Lilly turned her head to Ashley,"Is something wrong?"asked Lilly, Ashley looked at Lilly and said, Did you hear that?
"Hear what?"asked Lilly, Ashley replied and said, Somebody said something about cutting the power in Gym...
Ashley turned to look somewhere else as Lilly looked aswell,"Hey look there's William and Joey talk, Lilly didn't care and went back to look at the course.
Ashley said something seems like the said, "Hey Lilly, is that a diamond from your boots?
"What?"replied Lilly immediately, Ashley then said, Actually, never mind, it was just my mind.
"Oh ok"said Lilly relived cause if anyone stole her diamonds she would crush them!
Then William that cute boy from power control with the shades came over to Lilly and Ashley and said, guys aren't scared of the dark right?Everyone is afraid of something, I'm dead scared of Bridges and Bears and Heights, ......and labs." Lilly paused for a moment and heard Ashley say she wasn't, "aaaaaggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!"screamed Lilly, "I HATE THE DARK THATS WHY I LIKE THE LIGHT SO MUCH, WHY DID YOU COME AND SUMMON THAT UP GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!"shouted Lilly with a angry face and pointing to a room, almost the whole school heard her but she didn't feel embarrassed.
Then Lilly heard Ashley say, Let's go to Gym.
"Sure"said Lilly calming down.

Ulric flinched when the teacher suddenly called out his name, "How'd she know I was here?" he peeked over the gym door windows. He then began to wonder who Mike was, he thought he finally knew everyone's names, but apparently his ears missed one; or, perhaps they just haven't been mentioned until now.

"I am Mike." Ulric cringed to the sudden voice of a person who he could not see. He was so deep into his thoughts he didn't notice someone approaching him. "Who said that?"

"Down here!" not only was Ulric not fond of the idea, but every ounce of determination he had was soon quenched to see his partner was no other than the tallest midget in the universe. Out of all possibilities, he had to team up with HIM! "How the hell am I supposed to combine sound with growth!?"

"Look, I'm not fond of this either, but someone has to show these guys that I'm the biggest around here!" he started.

"Oh, you're definitely the biggest; but, that doesn't mean you're the best." Ulric respawned.

"What a surprise, you're actually speaking." Mike opened the door to gym and signaled Ulric to follow him; a crooked, vile, superior smile to his malevolent face. Ulric sighed and entered the gym; and as he did, a smile grew to his face. He had already thought of a way to combine their powers, "Nothing flashy," he thought. "But definitely effective..."
 
Joey

Joey was floored when he found out who his partner was. All thoughts of pranking were gone. He summoned up a few fireballs and had them floating in the air around him while he tossed one up and down.
"I've got an idea. Let's see if we can juggle these fireballs between each other. We could start with one and work our way up. Also, I wonder if you can use your power to kind of amplify mine. Fire is made by things moving very fast. So, you could try moving things inside the fire and make it bigger. And I could do the same thing, but in my own way. I'll bet the two of us can be way strong together than we could be apart, what about you?" Joey said happily. He was thrilled that this was going on!

Kyle

Kyle was not impressed. He gave Bethany a very subtle accusitory look. He got off the couch and froze the air into the shape of a ramp and walked up it so that he wouldn't have to look up to look her in the face. He paced around on the small platform of solid air he made for himself.
"I suppose I should explain. I came from fifteen years in the future. I was taught to control my powers here. I am a prodigy. The college I went to won't exist for another five years. I won't tell you any more than that. I would hate to mess up the timeline and not exist because of some paradox or another. The only reason I am here now is because the history books said when this school was first starting out there were two teachers. You, and a time manipulator from the future. So you will get no more from me. Is that all?" Kyle said. He waited for her to catch up and looked her dead in the eyes.
 
"Damn...how'd she know I was here? No. It doesn't matter. The plan will continue on." Tyrant thought, staying in the shadows, sneaking to the electricity box for the gym. "Say hello to Shadow, everybody." Tyrant said, cutting the power in the gym. "It's showtime." he added, getting back into the gym through a different entrance. He went back into the gym silently, and his plan would begin. "Who dares awaken me from my sleep?!" Tyrant asked in a loud, booming, very deep voice. He was nearly unseen in the darkness, well...except his glowing blue eyes. "You! Thou hast awoke me. Come hither, young one." Tyrant said, pointing at Joey.
 
Later Lilly and the other students were dresses up in there gym clothes, the class just finished there warm ups and so did Lilly.
The the teacher ms.Bethany said, All right, we are now finished with the warm-ups. Now we are going to do some work-outs. And I mean with our powers.
Lilly sighed and let it go quietly, she turned her head around seeing Ashley.

Lilly sighed again and went over to William and did a super quick sigh, "I guess were partners, what should we perform?"asked Lilly staring blankly at William.
 
"Okay, sounds great to me." Ashley said with a big smile. "You start with one." Ashley said. Joey made a fireball, and started juggling it. Ashley used her Telekinesis to try and make the fireball bigger, and have a greater glow. Joey kept adding the fireballs. Ashley felt a drop of sweat running down her face. It was sort of tough to do what she was doing. She hadn't mastered her powers yet, and she could barely lift herself one foot off the ground. The fireballs grew bigger and had a greater glow. Ashley's energy didn't come in an endless suply though. It would have to run out sometime. Her head started to hurt, and she started losing consentration. The fireballs grew smaller due to Ashley's lack of energy. "No... C'mon fireballs... Get bigger..." Ashley thought. If she was growing weaker now, how could she get up and do it again with low energy? The fireballs faded, and Ashlley blacked out for a minute.

Bethany was listening to what Kyle said. Kyle said "I suppose I should explain. I came from fifteen years in the future. I was taught to control my powers here. I am a prodigy. "You have been accepted into the school. Welcome." Bethany said. "Now, you best be getting ready for Art class. After Gym, Art begins, so you might want to set up your things in the class." Bethany said. "It was a pleasure seeing you, Mr. Kyle. I hope you like it here." Bethany said with a smile.
 
Joey

Joey was working hard, making the four fireballs grow the same as Ashley. He could see the concentration on her face. Then, the lights went out. He heard someone gasp. Now, the only source of light were the four flaming spheres, which he returned to normal size. The excercise was over for the moment. Then he spotted some blue eyes in the darkness. The figure pointed at him and said he had woken it up. Joet shrugged. If this was the prank William mentioned, it wasn't very good. Joey could have been way more pro with it. In fact, had Ashley not been there, he would have not hesitated to take the oppurtunity to prank the whole class. Instead, he grinned and walked a few steps toward the figure. He decided to play along for now.
"I'm Flare! And who are you supposed to be? Why the heck did you pick the gym of all places to sleep Why not my old bosses bedroom," Joey said with a wry chuckle.

Kyle

That one had her stumped for once. She seemed speechless. She told him to go prepare for art class.
"Bethany, I have been prepared for a very long time. It was a pleasure meeting you. I'd best be going now," Kyle said. He hopped off the platform he had made and let it fade. He walked out the door and into the art room. This would take some time to turn it into what he wanted. But he had all the time in the world. He closed the door and froze time in the room. When he was finished, he opened the door and unfroze time. The room that had once been plain now had bright colorful paintings hanging on the walls. Quite a few of them had been made by Kyle himself. An old clock was sitting on his desk, and each student desk had a blank canvas standing next to it. The chalkboard was completely clear. Every student had a very wide selection paints and other supplies available to use. Kyle smiled at his handywork. He went off to his room that he had been assigned for a good nights sleep. He could always come back to this point in time to teach. But he hadn't slept for days. He was running out of power now.
 
Mike and Ulric were standing near a corner watching everyone practice. "So, aren't we gonna practice?" Mike asked.

"Don't worry... I've already got a plan."

"I'm the star of this demonstration, don't forget you whelp!" Ulric nodded and smiled mischievously. Suddenly the lights went out. Mike panicked, "What's that!?"
"So it's started..."

"You! Thou hast awoke me. Come hither, young one." a booming voice spanned the gym, hidden in the darkness; only a pair of blue eyes glowing. He seemed to have been directing himself to Joey, the fire manipulator.
 
"Silence! I know who you are, Joseph Randell, the fire minipulater." Tyrant said, slamming his tail on the floor, leaving a large hole. "Do you think this is some type of prank? Do you not believe in wanderers of the darkness? If that's what you think...you're dead wrong. If you do think I am not really from the darkness...come hither." he added with no change in his voice, expression, or his movement. The only part of him that moved was his tail, still slightly on the floor near the hole it made.
 
Joey

Joey shrugged. He wasn't afraid. It's not like anything was going to happen. He walked a few steps closer to the thing. he created another fireball and began tossing it up and down.
"I'm not afraid of the dark. And I'm certainly not afraid of you! Let's see what you got!" Joey said. He didn't care if this was that joke or not. But if it was, then this guy gets an A for effort. But his lines were cheesy, like something out of a second rate movie. And if this was real, then this guy was still not a threat. How could he be? He was a joke! Either way, Joey really didn't care. But he could use this chance to show off for Ashley.
 
Bethany was walking back to Gym when she noticed the power was out inside the Gym. "Hmm... how did that happen?" Bethany said to herself. Bethany went to the power box. She flipped the switch from off to on. The whole Gym lit up. She went back in the Gym to see that there was a person in a cloak with blue eyes and a tail. "Who are you?" Bethany asked the myserious person. Bethany slid the hood of the cloak down, revealing the person's face. "Tyrant Storm, what do you think your doing? I'm sorry but I'll have to give you detension." Bethany said while handing Tyrant a detension slip. The paper was marked for 30 minutes after dinner started. That meant he had to go to the principal's office at 7:00 for detension. "I do not want to have to see you doing this again, Mr. Storm." Bethany said. "Now go to your Gym locker and get your Gym clothes on." Bethany told Tyrant. "Now, class, we will continue with Gym." Bethany told everyone as she merged back with her duplication.

Ashley was no longer fully aware of what was happening in Gym. She could hear bits and peices of sentances, but she could never fully understand what was being said and what was going on. At one moment, it was pitch black. The other, it was light again. Ashley finally awoke and got on her elbows. "Wh... what... happened...?" Ashley asked. She got up. She heard Joey talking to someone in the dark. The rest was blurry.
