OOC: Not really, all I did was make Chaos look around the room...

<OOC>Right. That's still PPing. Never, NEVER assume anything about another's character. Never make them do anything without the author's express permission. Secondly, I never heard anything about Devil tunneling underground.<OOC>

OOC: He wasn't tunneling, he was jumping. Something as large as Devil would be making shockwaves or small quakes if its jumping as high as Devil was.

Something that sounded like glass shattering filled the room. Saphira was standing, leaning against the wall for support. Near her feet was something that looked like the a small, jagged ridge of ice. Saphira had managed to put a wall between her and Cassie's attack, but with every bit of power she used, she became more drained. Sharp shards of the remains of her pathetic attempt of saving herself lay around the room. One peice had cut her cheek, but Saphira seemed not to notice it.

"**** *****!!" Blackwolf swore, aiming a punch at her. Saphira ducked, and rolled out of the way. Now that Chaos hardly had control over her, she could use some of her abilities.

An idea came to mind. Though she was only connected to him by a thread of thought, Saphira could use Chaos's powers for her own purpose. She knew it would enrage him, but at this point, it was the only thing left to do. She reached out toward him with her mind, grasping that one thread.

Jasper!! Saphira said, touching his conciousness with her own. She hardly had time to send him a mental picture of their location before she was pulled away. Saphira found herself in the dark room again. She had no idea what Chaos would do to her now.

((Ooc)) And there Saphira goes, acting like an idiot.....

At that moment Chaos sent him a message, but it sounded like Saphira. Maybe It was Chaos trying to lure Jasper into a trap. Right now he didn't care. He had to wake up, he had to find Saphira, he had to save her, he had to. SO he began pushing a bit on his powers, he didn't know if it would work, but he hoped it would. He attempted to bring a large chuck of metal towards him, but he couln't tell if it was working. All of a sudden though he felt a sharp, pin-like pain erupt into his chest. IT must have worked, and as soon as he went to sleep, he awoke. He was sitting outside of the tower, and everyone else appeared to be gone, no doubt fighting an impossible battle against the strongest villian to ever walk the Earth. Saphira has sent him a quick glimpse of where she was being held, and he thought he recognized it as Slade's old hideout, and he knew exactly where than was.

Dual growled.

"Stupid Sheol running off. Where's he going now?" Dual muttered under his breath. He looked around, Darkfire next to him. Dual looked around at his surroundings, and to his surprise... Jasper was standing up and using his powers as if nothing happened. Concerned about Jasper's life, Dual quickly shouted out Jasper's name.

"Jasper! Jasper!"

<OOC>The issue being that Chaos's lair is miles underground.<OOC>

I snarled as Saphira did this, saying softly, menacingly, "You'll regret that, *****." I then severed all connections with her. A little dangerous for her, perhaps, but if it hurt... Again, I tightened the ropes binding her, sending a small shock of pain into Cassie as I said, "Do better, my pet. I told you to make her scream, not endanger our location."

ooc: So your just going to ignore the fact that a 20 foot monster just broke into your base?

((Ooc)) Up to Chaos, really. He controls reality. If he doesn't see you there, you're not there. n_n' *pathetic attempt to explain why no one's noticed a huge monster in the room*

A wave of pain washed over Saphira as she suddenly lost all connections with Chaos. But what hurt even worse were the ropes tightening around her. However, Saphira refused to cry out. She wasn't about to let them know how frightened she was, how desparate she was, how hopeless everything seemed to her now. She wouldn't let them see her pain. Saphira refused to acknowledge the fact that she was close to death, considering all the damage she had taken by now. I'm not going down without taking one with me!! She told herself, not believing a word of it.

I heard someone yelling to me, "What?" I growled... I then realized that I didn't have time for this. So then I bounded off towards where the secret entrance to Slade's lair was. I hoped it was still there. Knowing Chaos he didn't need a physical entrance, and made it dissapear. I hope to hell not... I really did... I didn;t know if I could find a way to get down there if he had.

Blackwolf glared at Saphira, even more angry than before. She had managed to evade both Cassie's and his attacks, and contract Jasper through Chaos. He changed into a wolf on the spot, circling around the *****. His midnight fur stood on end and his tail bristled. He growled lowly, displaying his massive fangs. His scarlet eyes bore into her sapphire ones.

I kept a sprinting pace, and finally got close enough to where I assumed I would be able to find the entrance. But, there was nothing. No metal door, not even buried. I searched, dug, and jumped around like an idiot, but still I found nothing. I then realized what I could do. I searched the ground for metal, going deep down, and finally found massive ammounts of it. It must have been the lair. I took thousands of pieces from all over the lair and put them together in what seemed to be the main room. Hovering in the air it read "Saphira, I'm coming for you"

Saphira almost smiled seeing those words hovering over Blackwolf's shoulder. She knew Chaos would see through her acting, but until he did, she had a chance. With the ropes so tight, however, she couldn't move very well. Blackwolf glared at her, then charged, ramming into Saphira. She fell to the ground, and rolled out of the way of his snapping jaws. I hope you're coming soon, Jasper... She thought, backing up from Blackwolf.

<OOC>Well, you said he came from under the floor. Kinda hard to enter from the floor unless you tunnel, which you said nothing about.<OOC>

With a wicked smile, I said, "Oh, you'll regret that, Saphira. You'll regret that dearly." Laughing, I rearranged the metal into thousands of small needles, sending a few zooming toward her, faster than could be believed.

I then knew what I had to do, but I didn't know if Chaos would forbid it, although I almost knew he wouldn't. He accepted any and all challenges made against him, knowing he'd win. I then reached down again, and took those hovering words, and flattened them out into a flat, thick slab of metal. I then took it and pulled it to myself, it cut the ground, building resistance each second. I tok a burst of strength, and shot it up through the ground. I then hopped up onto it and directed myself down the hole. T was almost like an elevator. It was an elevator that would take me to both my love, and to my death.

I laughed again, booming mentally, FOOL! Do you think that I have time for you right now! If you enter my chambers, you will be paralyzed until I have the desire to deal with scum like you. You will listen to her screams until I wish otherwise. Nonetheless, I continued to let him tunnel. Let him throw his life away. Or sanity, whichever went first.

Saphira turned her head away from the needles, feeling them peirce her in various places. She bit down on her lip, causing it to bleed. Her strength was draining with each passing second. Tears gathered on her lashes, as she sunk to her knees. Crimson liquid dripped down her side where the metal had hit her. With every move it stung, as the needles sunk deeper into her skin.

I heard him warning, I heard his laughing, and I knew what he thought he could do. I also knew what I wasn't going to let him do. Die fag Was all I said and I flew down the tunnel faster than ever. Soon I landed in the chamber, and saw it all. Chaos, Saphira, Cassie... and the wolf... Oh ****... I said, and flew myself over in front of Saphira.

I snapped my fingers, more of the living darkness twisting itself around the boy, constricting him, tightening and consuming all but his head. With a soft smile, I said rhetorically, "Which one to torture first? Whom to extract the screams from? Ah, the screams, delicious screams. Almost as sweet as blood." I kicked Jared away from Saphira and bent down, licking the blood from her.

Saphira kicked at Chaos, missing him. She desparatly tried to pull away, but found she couldn't move very well. No... No, no, no, nononononono.... Blackwolf circled around Jasper, enjoying this whole situation. He snapped at Jasper every time he tried to move to help Saphira, forcing him back. Threre would be no saving her tonight. His revenge would finally take place, not only on Saphira, but on the Titans as well. So many years he had waited to see her helpless, defenseless, tortured...
