Teen Titans Understudy 3

Tentacles writhed, smacking the opponents face. Suddenly, there was no monster, but a cute boy of about five. Slipping away, he laughed and telekinetically picked up his foe.

"You think you wish for death now?" I shissed into Saphira's ear, flicking the tip of it with my tongue. I laughed and added maliciously, "You'll beg before the end. Beg until your voice give out from your screams and pleas. Even then, the way you writhe will give it all away... Maybe I'll let your brother have the same fun I did with you, so long ago..." I l;aughed again at the pleasent memory. "Maybe I'll have a little of the fun myself."

"Dual." A voice said softly. This voice seemed mental... yet physical. What was it?

"Mum? Dad?" Dual replied physically.

The voice rang in his head again.

"Don't upset us Dual." What seemed to be his Mum's voice echoed in Dual's head.

"Use the power of Yin..." The voice continued

A much deeper voice boomed out.

"And Yang."

A blinding flash ended this confrontation with his parents. Dual woke up again. This time things were different. The Yin-Yang symbol ended the blinding light. Dual started to float in the air. Now Dual was mad. His left half was if not, pure black and his right half white. In his right hand he clutched a blinding white flame in his hands, and in his left hand what seemd like a puff of black smoke. His eye on his left side was a cloud blue color and his right eye a violent red. The flame and the smoke started to reform. The flame turned into a white sword. A hilt of what seemed like diamond was formed and a blade which seemed to strong to be any metal on the periodic table... It must have been something else. Possibly a mythical metal, like Mythril. The blade itself resembled a katana, nothing different from his original but much stronger and could endure harder hits. The puff of black smoke also turned into a sword. Its hilt was made of what seemed like onyx, and its blade of the same material. THe blade was the same shape as the other blade's, only the color scheme was different.

Dual with his new found power stoof up.

"Yin-Yang Dual... Ready for action." He said in a combined voice of what seemed like 3 people.

OOC: Here goes Cassie, doing something suicidal. x_x

IC: "Well, I couldn't care less what you do to me," snarled Cassie, glaring at the three of them. They were enemies, and they were getting on her nerves. "I still won't join you. I'm a Titan, and I'll die like one." She shot a dirty look at Saphira, whom she had helped. It was now apparent where her loyalties lay.

What Cassie did next was about the stupidest thing she could have done. Perhaps it was because she didn't value her life anymore, or perhaps she just threw caution to the winds. But whatever the reason, she did it. Spitting at Chaos's feet, she growled, "Do your worst."

Big mistake.

I left Saphira and turned to the other girl, bending down and smiling sweetly. Cupping her chin in my gloved hand, I said, "My dear girl, I think I will now. I was going to be quick about your death, then take the other two, but now..." I paused, lifting her into the air by her throat. "Now, you get to join Saphira." I laughed, adding, "If you're lucky, I might make you my slave. I have several new theories on how to trap a mind." With that, more of the living darkness swallowed the four figures, moving us to my lair. I threw the girl down at my feet in the new darkness, almost indistinguahable from what we had just moved through.

With a thud, Cassie collided with the floor of the lair. She gasped, trying desperately to breathe through her bruised throat, but it was no use. The air was thick and musty, and every breath cost her more than it was worth. But with her last remaining strength, she got to her feet, pride taking over. She would not bow to Chaos, would not give him the satisfaction of seeing her crawl. "I won't go down... without a fight," she panted, glaring at him. Or where she thought he was. She couldn't see her hand in front of her own face, let alone the other three people. They were in total darkness, his element. He had the advantage.

"Oh, you will, *****." I said from behind her. For a moment, I bit sharply into her ear, before walking around in front of her and forcing her limbs to move as I wished. Laughing, I said, "You already have, see?" With another thought, an eerie, bluish unlight filled the chamber, casting everything in colors reverse of what they should be. Terra stepped out, saying, "Do you wish anything, Master?" I shook my head and motioned for her to return to her rooms.

I left the girl kneeling there, and moved to Blackwolf, an old... acquaintence. Releasing his bonds, I said, "I'll let you kill Saphira, if you'll let me have some fun with her... Or us, rather. Do you accept?"

"Saphira, get out of here!" Cassie attempted to hiss out of the corner of her mouth. But suddenly, she couldn't. Her mouth was no longer her own, nor was any part of her body. She couldn't control where she looked, what sounds her ears focused on. She was Chaos's tool, Chaos's puppet. She belonged to him now. The only thing she could still do freely was think, and being trapped in her own desperate thoughts wasn't pleasant. NO! she cried mentally, trying to fight his domination over her mind. But it was no use. She was his.

Sheol, within Devil's rampaging body, sensed something. An incredibly dark power was attacking one of his fellow titans. He grabbed ahold Devil's conciousness and directed his rage towards his target.

Devil roared and jumped into the air, destination: Chaos.

There didn't seem to be a point in holding the tower no longer. The tower was still supported by Darkfire as the new Dual raced up the Tower. Once up there he threw himself into a fighting stance.

"Leave them alone." Dual said confidently. He stood beside Cassie, but unexpectly was attacked. Dual's eyes widened. "You bastard..." Dual did a headcount mentally. Now there only seemed to be him, Sheol and Darkfire. Coronias was nearly finished with tearing the building apart, Jasper was heavily injured, Blackwolf and Chaos are about to kill Saphira. Saphira isn't sure which side she's on, Terra just came out, and now Cassie is being controlled by Chaos. The odds weren't even. (o_O) "It ends here." Dual struck a much more powerful strike with his twin swords at Chaos. Possibly even more than triple the power that he had before. His powers surpassed that of even Devil's... Dual was a powerhouse. Shortly after the strike, Dual felt a wave inside his body. It seemed to be controlling him. Another power within broke this power. Dual smiled.

"Controlling me isn't going to work... Yin and Yang have to be balanced." Dual smiled. He leapt next to Devil in a fighting stance.

<OOOC>Errr... Chaos is no longer remotely near the Tower.<OOC>

I bent down over the girl, saying, "You'll come to enjoy this, my pet." I laughed again before adding, "I have some things I want to try with you," then laughing and conjuring a small, golden hourglass on a necklace. Opening the top, I took a small knife and nicked the girl's ear, then pulled her tongue out and scraped off some saliva. Mixing the two on the blade, I let them roll into the hourglass, then replaced the top.

It worked, though I knew it would. I had willed it to work. Her mind was trapped in my grasp. I stroked it, knowing she would feel it running along inside of her. I could crush the thing with just a little more force than that. Or if she touched it.

Cassie shivered. Something ran through her as he stroked the hourglass, as though he had poured cold water down her neck. His hold over her was even stronger than before, she could feel it. She made to rub the bloodied tip of her ear, but in vain. She had no free will any longer, and her arm stayed firmly where it was.

My pet... The words echoed over and over in her head, mocking her. She would rather die than become the slave of a repulsive villain like him, but she didn't have that choice, as his grip over her was more powerful than ever. She was a prisoner in her own mind and body, doing only what Chaos wanted her to do. Turning to him, her eyes blank and empty, she asked, "Master, what do you wish of me?" in a distant, robotic sort of voice.

OOC: Bleh....couldn't get on these last few days...lemme catch up..XD

IC:

Darkfire threw off rocks that had landed on him during some kind of explosion, he rubbed his head as he got up.

"What the hell...? God...my head..." Darkfire continued towards the remaining Titans.

"What....happened?" asked Darkfire, who examined the damage on the tower and the fact that their main target was gone. He glanced towards each one of them, not exactly wanting an answer but waiting for one.

"Haha... There's only me, you and Sheol left on the Titans side." Dual's powers weakened as he turned back into his normal form. "They're away from the tower, so we should get some rest." Dual suggested. He looked up at the destroyed tower. "If we can..." The change of mood was pretty big. The Tower was no longer the standard 'T', but now a 'T' where the top was melted off, and it was crooked in shape.

OOC: Hoorah!! I'm gonna use a color now..XD

IC:
"We're down to THREE members and you're going to LAUGH?! What is wrong with you?! We're basically nothing now...I mean look at that dude....he just vanished with Cassie! I can only wonder...who's next?" said Darkfire, who was quickly pacing back and forth thinking of a plan, thinking of what to do...thinking of a way to escape..

Of c..."...ourse..." Blackwolf said, turning into a human in the middle of his sentence. He rubbed his wrists where the ropes had cut him, cursing under his breath. Saphira had managed to sit on her knees, somehow, and was working on biting her way through the bonds, though it seemed to have no effect at all.

"Bastards!!" She spat at Blackwolf and Chaos, still struggling against Chaos's ropes.

Blackwolf growled, and suddenly a black orb was hovering over his hand. He threw it at Saphira, watching with satisfaction as it knocked her into a wall. She refused to cry out. Saphira could feel blood gushing out of her shoulder and neck, and it felt as though the areas around the deep wounds were on fire.

She gritted her teeth against the pain; there was no way Saphira was going to allow Chaos and Blackwolf to see how much damage the attack had done to her. She glared to them, her eyes looking like intense sapphire orbs of light--an icy air crept into the room.

Jasper lay on the ground, unconsious. Trapped, in essence in his own mind at the moment. He realized that saphira must feel this way all the time, while she watched Chaos use her body to kill, to do things he didn't feel like doing. Jasper had to wake up, he had to find Saphira, he had to die at the hands of Chaos for her, because it was the only way he would feel that he did everything he could to save her. Although he knew that his attempt to free her would be in vein, he would try anyway, because that's how layal, or stupid, he was.

I laughed a little, tightening the living darkness that bound Saphira as I said, "Yes, actually I do, dear girl. Assisst Blackwolf. Make her scream."

"As you wish," said Cassie, in that same robotic voice that was so unlike her own. She walked towards Saphira where she lay slumped against the wall. When close enough to touch her, Cassie just stood there, staring at the other girl, eyes misted over and face pale. She was so still and quiet that it would be impossible to tell that a battle was raging in her mind.

Never! she cried mentally. I won't! You can't do this! She was struggling, she was fighting, she was screaming in her thoughts, attempting weakly to regain control. But it was useless. She raised a trembling hand to eye level, still watching Saphira, and conjured a ball of electricity. It shone yellow in her grasp, its glow dimmed considerably by the thick darkness of the lair. "For my master," she whispered, and shot it directly at Saphira, weeping internally because of what she'd just been forced to do.

The ground below Chaos's feet began shaking. Small quakes here and there, at first not noticeable, but they increased in size and decreased in time interval as the moments wore on.

The quakes soon started shaking the room. One large quake, one that made Chaos nearly fall over, and then the shaking ceased. Chaos looked around, but he saw nothing.

The short silence was broken when a large orange fist broke through the walls. Another fist crashed through the wall. The twin fists ripped a large hole in the wall.

Stepping through the dust through up, was an enraged Devil. He was drooling, with his eyes filled with fury.

<OOC>Erm... That there was powerplaying, man.<OOC>
