Because the Republican Party has become a crazy sect of deranged people who hate Government, law and everything that has to do with politics and their ideal image of a 18th-Century white Christian country of rural towns feat. slaves.

There are also some people who are merely conservative and who watch mainstream media and still think the Republican party is merely a regular conservative party. Those are the ones freaking out to see that Bush and Rubio combined have less support than either Trump or Carson alone.
